The childcare centre and school share remarkable grounds with woodland and so much scope for varied playtime, it has consistently been clear what a positive impact this outdoor space has on the kids with their discovering and enjoyment.
It is also very clear to see the development the kids make in development throughout their time at The Alton School Childcare centre. This is such a fantastic childcare centre, it has been so nurturing for all three of our kids.

October 31, 2024 at 12:39 amWe did try another childcare centre for a period which was a bit closer to home, but the difference was huge, and we returned to Alton Childcare centre with our youngest. As a mother of a kid with an allergy, it is really important to me that I have trust in each and every one of the team, and they are very reassuring. I adore that the kids get outside every day and have lots of space and different environments to explore. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest the childcare centre to any prospective parents.
The only improvement I could see is if they were to consider offering the full 30 hours of funding for three-year-olds. Both of my kids have attended this childcare centre, and I have nothing but positive feedback.

November 10, 2024 at 1:37 pmOur daughter joined at 11 months old and we are amazed daily at the development she is making both in her development and her self‑assurance, she is so excited to attend every day with a big smile! The team are all so attentive and attentive, our daughter’s allergy is no problem at all, and they have adopted her routine perfectly. In addition to this, the childcare centre is situated within the most lovely setting, making it such a lovely place to learn and playtime. We are so pleased we chose Alton School Childcare centre.

The variety of daily activities on offer as well as the intimate class numbers aids the development of the kids. A very organised set up with welcoming team. I would not hesitate to suggest. My son has been attending Alton School Childcare centre since nine months old, and I cannot fault the dedication to the kids and their needs.

November 12, 2024 at 11:40 amThey loved their time at the childcare centre and the team are fantastic, enjoyable, engaging and thoughtful to not only the kids but the parents too. My eldest was incredibly well prepared for school being ahead of her peers in relation to phonics and maths and also having learnt some Spanish. My youngest is about to start school and has been encouraged so well around his speech which was a little late developing. I would highly suggest the childcare centre for their care and professionalism in providing my kids with a excellent start in their education. Both my daughter and son attended from the age of around 9 months until ages 4.

They have dealt with his allergies brilliantly since he was a baby.
The outdoor space available to the kids is unlike any childcare setting I have seen.
There is a strong attention to education giving the kids a chance to begin school discovering from a young age.
My son has flourished while there developing excellent relationships and a excellent view of the world.
They have been remarkable throughout, especially during the pandemic and I would highly suggest the childcare centre to any parent. My son has been at Alton School Childcare centre for 3 and a half years and has loved every minute.

January 12, 2025 at 5:27 pmAbsolutely cannot fault the childcare centre. All 3 of my kids have attended here (and one still does!). They have all loved it and flourished as individuals. The space the kids have access to in the gardens, playtime grounds and orchards is incredible. The team are all so attentive and expert and the pre-school room really preps them well for school education. Exceptional!

April 1, 2025 at 3:23 pmTheir updates via the app with videos and photos provides us a nice connection to frame dinner conversation with our toddler, and she loves telling us about what she was doing and who is in every photograph. I sense secure with their teaching of independent skills, cross-cultural discovering, and a healthy adore of the outdoors. All in all, we cherish our spot at Alton School. We cherish the team, and all the friends made through this community. Hope to welcome you and your little to our little parent group too! Alton School has given our daughter a home away from home, with outstanding educators, facilities, and a schedule that works for us as working parents.

The team are open, honest and enjoyable with tremendous dedication to all the kids’s welfare and education with a creative and inviting approach. I suggest the childcare centre team to anyone considering sending their kid to a secure, inviting, and encouraging educational setting. Alton School Childcare centre have taken excellent care of my 2 kids, with the youngest now in preschool.

May 26, 2025 at 5:36 pmIt provides a nurturing, supportive setting where the kids playtime, grows and learn. My son loves his time there and is consistently cheerful to go (as was my daughter when she attended). The team are beyond incredible and have excellent relationships with the kids and parents. My son loves nothing more than to be outdoors and he is consistently talking about the walks in the woods. The school has lovely grounds and extensive woodland for the kids to explore. I would definitely suggest the childcare centre here to perspective parents. The childcare centre at Alton School is remarkable; I cannot praise it highly enough.

May 31, 2025 at 4:00 pmOur son transferred from another childcare centre when his older brother started at school. When he first started our son was nervous to be in a new setting, he was shown adore and compassion until he had settled in. All the team have been fantastic with him, treating him as an individual and adapting their care to his ability and interests. They provided outstanding assistance through lockdown 1 and a secure discovering setting through lockdown 3. The facilities are excellent, there’s loads of outdoor space and access to some of the school (eg activities in the sports hall on rainy days) which you might not get elsewhere.
I was really sad to be leaving our old childcare centre but it was absolutely the right choice, we adore it at Alton! Our journey of Alton School Childcare centre has been fantastic.
