September 11, 2024 at 1:59 amThey offer him the best journey possible, and I couldn’t suggest them enough. I adore seeing the daily pictures and am jealous of the fabulous food he eats there. He is cheerful there, and as a Mum, that makes me sense cheerful and reassured I made the best choice in sending him to Almond House. My little boy is the remarkable, clever and curious kid he is because of the team at Almond House.

September 13, 2024 at 5:36 pmThis was the first childcare centre we visited and as soon as we walked through the door we felt it was right, my partner was a childcare centre nurse so is ultra sceptical so Almond House had to hit high standards to satisfy her. They have definitely met those standards and we have been more than cheerful with my kid’s development and happiness. Due to go to school this year and I know he will miss this place and that’s a credit to the team. And the chef, wow, if only I could get my son to eat like that at home, all in all a Excellent setting with excellent team Originally put this childcare centre on our shortlist due to location the fact their sister childcare centre was Ofsted outstanding.

September 21, 2024 at 2:18 pmThe team are welcoming and compassionate; they give regular updates through the app and are more than cheerful to chat more in detail about what he’s been up to that day at drop off and pick up. I truly sense that they care about him, which is lovely. We’ve consistently struggled to get our son to nap, which was a concern for us, but they manage where we fail. He rarely naps at home now but still usually naps at childcare centre!
The food is top-notch and varied too, which is fantastic, as we try to eat well at home, so it’s nice that he’s getting nutritious, homemade food at childcare centre too. I was lucky enough to sample some of the food at an open day in the spring and was truly impressed.
Since starting at Almond House, our relatives and friends have also noticed that our son is much more sociable too, happier to go to them, and much more confident. Our boy has been attending Almond House for just over six months now, and he absolutely loves it.

October 25, 2024 at 5:18 pmWe chose to send him to childcare centre because, as a lockdown baby, he had no outside interactions with other kids for the first year of his life. In the two years he has been there, he has gained so much self‑assurance and has helped massively with his social skills. He loves the team who work there and consistently comes home a cheerful little boy! My eldest son was born in 2020 and started at Almond House in 2021.

October 28, 2024 at 6:55 pmThe team are truly well‑informed and go above and beyond for the kids, consistently coming up with new creative ideas to help the kids learn. I sense highly secure sending my daughter here. It is highly spotless and there are a excellent deal of discovering tools and toys for the kids to interact with. My daughter has been coming here for a year now and her updates skills and emotional development have improved greatly.

They are truly lovely with him and he seems to share a bond with a great amount of the team here. 100% suggest!

Thank you for looking after my little boy. My little boy has been at Almond House Childcare centre for just over a year now and he has developed so much with his development, discovering and speech and this has been supported by his time at the childcare centre.

Especially for parents who are unsure about leaving their babies for the first time. My baby and toddler both attend Almond House and I can’t suggest it highly enough.

January 25, 2025 at 9:55 amI appreciate the regular updates and photos of my kid’s day using the Famly app (including how much of their meal they ate, times of nappy changes and if it was wet or dirty, how long and when they had a nap etc.) and my kid seems cheerful and comfortable with the team. One of the highlights of the childcare centre is their chef. Every week he creates a diverse and nutritious menu for the kids. Some of my favourite meals include: kid welcoming sushi, stir fry with noodles, tofu nuggets, many different pasta dishes and lots more!
My kid has come back from childcare centre with newly learned songs and even a new baby sign for water!
If I had to say one negative (and that’s a hard task) I’d say it’s unfortunate that they don’t do term time places for kids who don’t get free childcare hours. As a parent who studies, I’d adore the option to have my kid at home for half term. My kid has been at this childcare centre for a few months now, and I’ve absolutely loved it!

March 25, 2025 at 4:50 pmThe chef makes fabulous fresh food daily and even has time to occasionally spoil the parents with yummy cakes too! My two daughters adore Almond House and all the team (especially two members of team) they are so excited to go and have formed incredible friendships.

April 1, 2025 at 5:32 pmMy twins have been attending since 2018 and we have only positive things to say about the team, the location and activities and the regular, supportive updates on their development.
The weekly menu is consistently diverse and freshly made.
The management make you sense important to the childcare centre and to your kid’s success.
Suggest highly for anyone looking for a secure, supportive place for their little ones to succeed. Almond House deserves its OFSTED Outstanding rating.

April 9, 2025 at 2:22 amNothing is too much for the team, they are consistently more than cheerful to help or give advice. One thing I particularly like is the use of technology, we get regular updates throughout the day via the app giving information on activities, sleep, eating, discovering and of course the enjoyable they’ve been having. They also take lots of pictures throughout the day so you can see all the enjoyable the kids had, which is excellent for tea time chats with the kids about their day. We have since moved out of the area and continue to drive the extra distance due to how great this childcare centre is. The team at Almond House are simply outstanding, their commitment and dedication to enhancing our kids’s discovering and experiences have been remarkable.

April 24, 2025 at 2:18 amFrom day one the girls were so welcoming and he settled in truly quick adapting to their routine. He has made so much development, he’s much more confident playing in larger groups and with the delicious healthy meals provided at childcare centre, he‘s gained self‑assurance to try new foods. The updates between the childcare centre and parents is incredible and they’re consistently trying to find new ways for families to interact. I’m updated during the day via an app of what he’s doing and also receive pictures at the end of the day, which leaves me feeling highly comfortable seeing how cheerful and settled he is. We also reserve a monthly observation of his development. They do lots of different activities and messy playtime each day which my boy loves! My son has only been attending Almond House for 6 months and we’ve nothing but positive things to say!

They’ve adapted to my son to make his time there comfortable and enjoyable. (My son is SEN) I couldn’t have received more assistance and guidance, and I continue to do so. My little girl, who has also just turned two, also goes to this childcare centre now, and we’ve already noticed a difference in her speech and social interactions. They both adore going to the childcare centre, and the team are highly expert, well‑informed and supportive. Thanks, Almond House. Both my kids go to Almond House.

May 16, 2025 at 1:20 amMy two little girls have been attending since they were both 11 months old (now 4 and 2) and from the first visit they have made us all sense settled and cheerful. Both girls have come on leaps and bounds since starting childcare centre. My youngest has Hip Dysplasia and the team were incredible after she had her operation and was in a full cast. I was truly thrilled that I felt comfortable to leave her after such a big operation but she loved it!
Both girls have just grown in self‑assurance and that’s all down to the managers and the team!
The menu created by the chef every week is varied and sounds delicious – even though they can be fussy at home they consistently eat every meal at childcare centre. I’m upset that my eldest is leaving for school and I know that she will miss coming to Almond House but my youngest will have two more incredible years. Thank you all. Almond House Childcare centre team are welcoming and welcoming!

May 18, 2025 at 5:39 pmThe team are remarkable They are welcoming and are consistently there to help. They also keep you updated, this can include the meals for the week, any projects they are doing. They have been given ‘outstanding’ from Ofsted which says it all. I cannot think of a better place to send my kids. I can’t thank them enough for all their help and assistance – The childcare centre isn’t local to me but it’s the best by far. My daughter has been going since 2017 and she absolutely loves it.

It’s a big thing to choose a childcare centre for your little one to go to, to be in someone else’s care, but I couldn’t have chosen better.
Regular updates on how she is getting on in the room and observations and photos are regularly sent. My little girl goes to Almond House and absolutely loves it.

All the team are super supportive and welcoming and have given a excellent start to our daughter’s education and social skills. I 100% suggest. A fantastic childcare centre!

Her education is a priority and she is exposed to lots of different experiences and opportunities too. I would highly suggest this childcare centre. My daughter has been attending Pre school at Almond House Childcare centre since February.
