Acres of Fun Day Nursery

The grounds is like no others – acres of space and fantastic sites to ensure that the little ones are outside in the fresh air as much as possible. I genuinely wouldn’t ever consider sending my youngsters anywhere else. The enjoy, fun and absorbing that the crew provide is first‑rate. Acres of Fun Day Nursery is an fantastic childcare centre in the best setting. Both of my kids have was enrolled at Acres over the previous 10 years and the quality of the support provided never ceases to delight me. I am quite convinced that the great manners and social competences that both my little ones have is largely attributed to the exposure and dedication Acres provides!! This is a major part of the Acres ethos.

We couldn’t be happier with Acres of Fun Day Nursery! My little one is thriving at Acres. The Staff, the daily activities, the incredible gardens and woods, the fresh food cooked every day… too many things to list! 5 Star! We’re truly grateful for everything they do.

The range of activities changes daily, with the outdoor space used to the maximum. I’m often quite jealous! The team know all the kids and it has a wonderful homely feeling. Acres of Fun is an absolutely incredible early‑years hub. A wonderful early‑years hub. Our 3-year-old girl absolutely enjoys attending and our 6-year-old still misses the crew and the upper pre-school two years on! The curriculum allows the kids to advancement and prepare as they move through the childcare centre. The team are kind, kind and full of energy. Safety and safeguarding always seem to be high on the agenda and I feel our girl is protected and truly well cared for. The menu offered by the chef is always nutritious and well thought out. The setting offers a wide range of activities for the kids in their support. The childcare centre is always a busy hive of activities and absorbing opportunities.

From the initial tour of Acres of Fun Day Nursery I knew Acres was going to be a special place for my Son to grow, explore and develop. You have to see it to believe it. I have never been disappointed. A real credit to their chef. They use it to its absolute benefit, teaching about the outside and inside world in an outdoor setting. I would unreservedly endorse Acres and their crew. The weekly menu is extremely inviting. He has blossomed as a toddler to a lovely young boy and has had exceptional care and attention from the team at Acres and his ever growing knowledge often surprises me. It is interesting and includes lots of fruit and veg and meets recommendations for kid nutrition. There is not enough space here to give full credit! He is 3 years old and is doing exceedingly well at Acres. The outdoor space is incredible. At the gate, my Son runs off for a morning hug before he has his breakfast and then begins his day of individual and class activities.

I would always suggest Acres to other parents. The crew are absolutely fantastic and extremely accommodating, especially when he’s having a bit of an off day. Our boy has joined Acres of Fun Day Nursery since he was 9 months old. He enjoys playing outdoors and always has plenty of opportunity at Acres. The meals are incredible and I’ve always been jealous of the range available (I wish I could have lunch with them!).

but Acres offer holiday club too!!! Especially the fairy house. I am really dismayed that he will be leaving for school in September….. My youngster attending Acres of Fun Day Nursery is my youngest of four. (Other than a Norland Nanny but then the kid doesn’t get the socialisation which is really important). The outside space is so big and colourful you just have to see it to appreciate it. Sometimes he does cry to come home though!! He is nearly 4 and we have not had one day where he doesn’t want to go. It may be a little more expensive than other local nurseries/pre schools, and the cost of living is high at the moment, but you really couldn’t pay for better attention. I just wish I had found Acres before and put all of my kids in!!! The sites and team are second to none I have never seen better. It really is his second family. Also the crew turn over is extremely low, which in my opinion speaks volumes in itself. They have an on-site chef who cooks them food that is healthy but liked.

The outdoor sites are fantastic and allow for lots of fun and interesting activities. Acres is a lovely nursery setting with dedicated crew who go above and beyond to ensure my little one always has an enjoyable journey.

My two sons join Acres, the youngest is in the baby room and the older boy is in Upper Preschool, having started in the baby room. They go over and above and it really is great to know you are leaving your youngsters in such a secure, caring, and fun environment. The personnel are extremely kind and experienced, nothing is too much trouble and the attention that they give is nothing short of excellent. I can’t rate Acres enthusiastically enough. The best thing about Acres (other than the team) is the fabulous and extensive garden, with many activities areas and woodland. The boys often come home having been outside all day and are exhausted and muddy, but have had a great day. Meals are cooked fresh on-site and the chef runs an excellent kitchen with varied menus.

They are assured, pleased, social and inquisitive and that is largely down to the time spent at Acres completing educational tasks correct for their age group, exploring and exploring in forest school, discovering through playtime and having fun. I have had three youngsters pass through Acres of Fun Day Nursery starting in March 2018 and since then my young lady left in 2021 and my boy left in 2022, both to join school. The team at Acres are kind, caring, inspiring and a dedicated team that I am proud to say prepared my two little ones for the leap into school. I currently have a girl in lower preschool. It is a fantastic place to be able to send your youngster mainly due to the team but also the fantastic setting. Acres of Fun is a fantastic setting for a kid to grow and develop. I wouldn’t hesitate to endorse Acres of Fun.

Food is nutritious and varied. Acres is a fantastic childcare centre with remarkable outside space for little ones to enjoy. She’s always enjoyed it. The personnel are extremely attentive, caring, and experienced. We’ve had our young lady at Acres since 9 months old and she’s now 4.
