September 27, 2024 at 11:17 amMy one-year-old is currently there and she loves going to Acorns. The team are fantastic and they all seem to genuinely care about the kids. She loves the food and is constantly entertained.
I wouldn’t send my kids anywhere else. All three of my kids have attended this childcare centre and it has never failed to impress.

October 30, 2024 at 12:14 amThese were based on reviews by friends and family and a general online search. Acorns Llanishen was my favourite by a long shot. As soon as I walked in it was warm and welcoming; home from home. My son absolutely loves attending and gets so excited to go in. The team at the childcare centre are so welcoming, warm and approachable. I have and would highly suggest to anyone. When looking for a childcare centre for my son we must have visited at least 10 different nurseries.

October 30, 2024 at 12:27 amNot only the team in her room but management and anyone that you come into contact with are supportive and compassionate. Our daughter is consistently discovering more at childcare centre and keeping busy doing messy and spotless activities. We can then assistance her discovering further because the team give us details about what she does and learns. I bring her baby sister with me to collect and the team are so lovely with her and watch her so I can pay attention to my eldest. I cannot suggest this place enough. Both our girls had their places reserved before they were born. We are more than pleased with the care attention and effort that goes into our 2-year-old daughter.

She is at pre-school age now and her development has come on in leaps and bounds with the activities they provide at acorns. All team and compassionate, warm and welcoming. My daughter has been coming to Acorns Priory House for the last couple of years.

It’s a pleasure picking him up and hearing what he has been up to. Our son has loved Acorns Priory House (Llanishen) since he started 6 months ago.

January 21, 2025 at 12:39 amThe range of activities that he undertakes through the weeks is remarkable. The menu is varied and the team are lovely. He’s learnt so much and has really developed and had so much enjoyable. He talks about team and other kids when he’s at home and you can really tell he loves it there. We’re really pleased we chose them. My son is 2 years and Acorns Priory House have looked after him since he was 10 months.

All team are consistently welcoming and approachable and talk with genuine care for my kid. We are extremely cheerful with our choice of childcare centre. Since our first kid started Acorns back last March 2021, we have been blown away by the level and standard of care.

March 15, 2025 at 8:45 pmThey engage the kids in a excellent array of activities including a multitude of national-themed days across the year and I adore hearing our daughter tell us about all the exciting things she’s done in her day and the people she loves playing with. The facilities themselves are also excellent, with a fantastic outdoor space that the kids get to use all year round and the food provision throughout the day is varied, healthy, and enjoyable for the kids. A excellent childcare centre that I would highly suggest. A remarkable childcare centre that really goes above and beyond to provide a excellent setting for the kids, both in terms of their education and emotional well-being.

There are many activities which I would never entertain at home, like the sensory journey of handling gloop! They offer an outstanding range of nutritional meals and snacks with the occasional treat which he loves. My son has been attending for just over a year now and he loves it.

His keyworkers are incredible and nothing is too much trouble. So pleased we have chosen this childcare centre. We joined Acorns Priory House (Llanishen) during a difficult time but finding this childcare centre was a godsend.

The setting is welcoming, spotless and the kids are encouraged to make the space their own with artwork and family pictures. The menu provided has helped the girls to discover new foods. I have been very impressed with the range of activities provided and how they are tailored to the developmental abilities of the kids. The girls have loved being introduced to new craft activities and sports. The girls have lots of one to one attention and develop a lovely relationship with their peers and the childcare centre workers. They spend lots of time outside in the gardens and my eldest has particularly enjoyed the forest school area. The transitions between groups has been handled sensitively. I sense well informed with what is happening at Acorns Priory House via regular emails and the verbal handovers. I have been delighted with the care that both of my daughters have received over the past 3 years.

May 14, 2025 at 6:20 amWe viewed around 4 nurseries prior to visiting Acorns and it was the only one I could imagine my daughter attending; it is warm, spotless, and inviting with a home-from-home vibe. The outdoor spaces are incredible for the kids and I like that there is a separate pre-school building for when they reach that age. The menus are varied and my little girl eats really well there. The team cater to my daughter’s food allergy well and I have full self‑assurance in them to do so. All of the team at the childcare centre are lovely and show so much interest in and warmth towards the kids. The management are very hands-on and approachable. The activities are varied and enjoyable. Most importantly, my daughter is cheerful to go to childcare centre each day! I couldn’t fault Acorns and our youngest will definitely be attending too. Our little girl has been attending Acorns Priory House since late 2020.

May 15, 2025 at 5:39 amOur son has a excellent time. Staff are very welcoming and attentive. They feed back on food consumption, sleep, nappies, and activities after each day. The photos sent via the App from childcare centre are sweet. We are sent an outline of what the kids will be discovering about every few months, with suggested home activities, which is really nice. They put a excellent effort into decorating the house for Christmas, Autumn/Halloween, etc, which my son loves! Such a lovely childcare centre, with excellent outdoor space.

The food is also outstanding and they provide a varied and exciting menu. Throughly suggest. Both my kids have attended this childcare centre and we are looking forward to our son attending his pre-school year here too.

June 20, 2025 at 7:21 pmMy kid loves running into the childcare centre and I know she is secure and cheerful there. Staff have taken lots of pictures and provided home links via email to help parents while we can’t go inside. The team clearly worked really hard with the new COVID procedures.
