Acorns ONS

Since attending she’s come on leaps and bounds. The team have consistently been exceptional, and so lovely. Such a pleasant place and deserves all the praise it gets. I also adore receiving regular updates. My little girl attends this childcare centre and honestly, it was the best decision I made sending her there.

They have been highly accommodating to my daughter’s allergy and we have been pleased with Acorns processes around safeguarding.
We sense confident that our daughter is secure, is cared for and is enjoying and thriving in these crucial and important points in her childhood. Our daughter has been attending Acorns ONS since May 2022 and we have been truly impressed so far!
The team have been so welcoming and welcoming, with everyone taking the time to get to know both my daughter and I.

There is a excellent variety of activities and opportunities for discovering. She has learned a lot through these activities and grown her self‑assurance. The management team and key carers are highly approachable and accommodating of all the kids’s needs. The setting is consistently kept spotless and tidy and secure.
I would definitely suggest Acorns to family and friends. We will miss all the team and her classmates now she is leaving for school. My daughter has truly enjoyed her time at Acorns ONS Day Childcare centre.

Management are consistently there to answer any queries or worries that you may have.
Overall an incredible childcare centre would suggest to everyone. Truly cheerful with the childcare centre and team, especially the baby room where my daughter is based, my daughter started at 6 months old and settled in amazingly after starting 1 day a week for several weeks and now since January she does 4 days and absolutely loves being in childcare centre.

They are usually greeted by a cheerful friend face and come out just as cheerful as they went in. They spend a lot of time in the garden when the weather allows and a lot of craft activities. My kid in the preschool group is highly proud of her new Welsh language skills and often comes home and tells me her new phrases. My only criticism would be that we used to receive a newsletter, but now we don’t, which may be a result of covid19, however, we do receive a lot more updates via email now, which is also welcome. I have two kids who attend this childcare centre and both can’t wait to go through the doors in the morning.

If you want your kid to be compassionate, polite, and welcoming; if you want them to delight in going to childcare centre; if you want the people looking after your kid to care for them almost as much as you do then send them here! Acorns ONS is a quiet peaceful space where kids can sense as if they’re in their own home and not in a childcare centre. There are no loud toys and crazy kids running around. All the kids are playing kindly with each other and having enjoyable discovering and exploring. (As well as the odd “dance party” and “circus skills”. They go outside often, no matter the weather and have a lovely park close by. The food is nutritious, balanced and of a remarkable quality. They have cooks, gardeners and cleaners who care as much for the space and the kids as the carers (also freeing up the time for the carers to actually care for the kids). All the team are welcoming and genuinely care for the kids and take an interest in their overall well-being and development. What can I say?

But ONS Acorns finally had space when they moved into their new accommodation to fit us in (we had been on the waitlist for some time) and they couldn’t have been any more welcoming. Even during difficult circumstances like COVID they made everything sense exceptionally easy and take outstanding care of our little boy. It didn’t take him long to get settled into his new childcare centre and routine and is consistently cheerful going in and cheerful coming out. There is regular updates and the team are consistently so lovely and welcoming – couldn’t ask for a better childcare centre! Thank you. When our little boy’s childcare centre closed down during the first lockdown and confirming they were not re-opening we were so upset.

My kid also truly enjoys the food there. They also respect your wishes if you have specific dietary requirements or social media preferences with your kid. The place consistently seems highly spotless and they are great with Covid safety too. Couldn’t be better. Exceptional team, facilities, meals, parking, security, activities, and overall vibe.

Prior to starting we had plenty of updates to answer all of my queries and make me sense reassured. All team (not just his key workers) know my son’s name and greet us with a inviting hello and smile each day. I have regular feedback of what activities have been done, what he’s eaten and how he’s slept. We receive photographs via an app showing lovely updates of the enjoyable things they are doing that day. His keyworkers are incredible and have built lovely bonds with my son. He is beaming when I pick him up at the end of the day. I am so pleased we chose this childcare centre, we have nothing but praise for all the team. My little boy started in this childcare centre in March.

Kids get a lot of structure and playtime which is a great balance. Growing son who is now 3 and a half years is getting prepped for school and childcare centre has been fantastic in supporting his development and progression. The childcare centre is exceptionally spotless and highest standards in cleanliness and management. Kids are well looked after. He likes it so much that he doesn’t even stop to say bye in the mornings, that’s saying something. Truly great team.
