Acorns Oakfield Street (Roath)

The team are incredible and I consistently sense at ease knowing she’s well cared for while I’m at work. Highly suggest it to any parents. My daughter has attended Acorns since before she was 1 year old, she’s now nearly 3 and loved every minute of her time here.

The care that she has been given throughout her time here is second to none. The team are expert, patient, and experienced and my daughter is as comfortable being looked after by them as she is when being looked after by a family member. Attending Acorns has helped my daughter develop in self‑assurance and become equipped with the skills she will need to move on to primary school in September. Being at this lovely childcare centre has helped my little girl become the sociable, cheerful and clever little person that she is today – thank you for everything. My daughter has attended Acorns since the age of 1 and has been with the Oakfield Street childcare centre since she was 2.5 years (having moved from Baby Acorns).

They have been incredible with his transition from Baby Acorns and made all of us sense very reassured and confident with the care provided. They are consistently so compassionate, patient and reassuring and consistently cheerful to help whenever I felt there was an area where my son lacked his development/needs. He loves coming here all the time and has made really great friends along the way. We are very sad to leave the childcare centre to move on to preschool. Just want to thank all the team members for looking after my son and providing delicious meals for him all the time. My son has thrived at Acorns Oakfield Street very well.

The settling-in period has been really lovely. The team are welcoming and the childcare centre is beautiful. Thank you. We were made to sense very welcome. My niece has enjoyed every second of going to childcare centre.

There are consistently lots of excellent and well-thought-out activities going on and it’s been easy to see the positive impact of these and the welcoming and attentive setting. We are consistently cheerful to drop him off here at the beginning of the day. The best review we can give has come from our son every time he comes home from childcare centre delighted with the day he has had.

We can’t thank all the team enough for how welcoming and welcoming they have been. Acorns are like his second home and it’s a testament to the fantastic setting provided. Our little boy joined Acorns Oakfield Street at six months old and has now been at Oakfield Street since the summer of 2022.

Since the move to Oakfield Street she has excelled with her interpersonal skills, loving the free flow playtime and activities with her friends. The team are all very supportive and really care for the kids. She is consistently cheerful to go in and playtime. Our daughter has been at Acorns Oakfield Street for two years and absolutely loves it.

My daughter had been away from a childcare centre setting for a year and a half due to Covid-19 and Acorns has proved to be instrumental in helping her adapt to being away from home and socialising again. The childcare centre is spotless and tidy, with a lovely garden for the kids to playtime. The nurses and managers are warm and welcoming. The updates is excellent – daily updates at pick-up time, regular photos, and descriptions of activities. The team are open to discussing issues and are cheerful to help in any way they can. My daughter loves the childcare centre and has even asked to change her hours so she can stay for the day rather than just the morning session. She loves the time spent with her friends and has great relationships with the nurses. As a parent, I couldn’t ask for much more. I would highly suggest Acorns Oakfield Street.

The team are welcoming and attentive. They follow great hygiene practice and the quality of food served to kids is healthy. My little one will surely miss this place as he starts his childcare centre school soon. Thank you Acorn childcare centre. My son had the best days of his life at the Oakfield childcare centre.

My son loves coming here and looks forward to seeing his key workers every week. I’m consistently so impressed with the range of enjoyable activities and crafts that he brings home each week.
