Acorn Day Nursery (Sharnbrook)

This is a superb environment, I sense extremely lucky to have found it and privileged that my little boy is part of the Acorns family- well done! The food they offer is terrific and the sessions they do with the kids are creative, exciting and developing. They supported him as he adjusted and continued to help him hit his developmental markers. Unfortunately, my little boy lost his father this year and the team at Acorn has loved him through it. The team team are remarkable and continually goes above and beyond to care for my little boy. I able’ t speak strongly enough of it. This childcare environment is outstanding!

In short, an outstanding provision. Potty training flowed seamlessly from home to day‑care and that was a terrific comfort to a first- time parent! The team able’ t do enough to assistance us as guardians and are so encouraging with all major milestones. From joining as a baby to now moving into Oaks as a 3 year old, my little boy has had experiences, development and enjoyable that I might not offer him at home. The diligence, care and nurture offered by the team is impressive. My little boy has attended Acorn Day Nursery in Sharnbrook ever since September 2020.

We would suggest it to everyone! It is so reassuring to know that our little boy is so delighted at Acorn Day Nursery( Sharnbrook). To have the nearby grounds available to them for their walks, sessions and forest school sets Acorn Day Nursery( Sharnbrook) apart from most nurseries. They spend a terrific deal of time out in the fresh air and do a marvellous variety of outdoor sessions. The location is second to none in terms of the outside space available for their woodland walks and outdoor exploration. The app used is terrific and the team are brilliant at keeping us up to date on it both with what our little boy has been up to in terms of his eating, sleeping and nappies but also with photos and videos of the enjoyable he has been having that day. The team are all superb, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the wide variety of sessions they do each day. Our little boy has been at Acorn Day Nursery( Sharnbrook) ever since he was 12- months old and he adores it, so much so that sometimes he doesn’ t want to leave at the end of the day!

I cannot suggest them strongly enough. Admin queries are dealt with quickly and professionally. We have complete trust in the team and know that our little boy is getting the best care. Our little boy adores going to day‑care and that makes us extremely delighted. The outdoor space is remarkable and the varied time and sessions offered are terrific. The app is terrific and was a key part in the settling process, reassuring us with photos and updates on his day. Our little boy has a marvellous bond with his keyworker and the other team within the environment, and we are seeing the progress he is making each week. We spent a lot of time looking at different nurseries in the area and agreed that Acorns met all of our expectations of a day‑care. Our little boy has attended Acorn Day Nursery in Sharnbrook ever since he was 10 months old.

A lot of thought and preparation goes into the sessions prepared for the class, and I adore the emphasis on outdoor play and exploration. The bond they have with the kids is terrific! They are consistently eager to receive feedback and improve. The Squirrels team goes above and beyond their call of duty.

I would strongly suggest Acorns! Every day they are outside exploring and then have a planned morning in the woodlands once a week. There is a huge emphasis on outdoor play all year round, not just when it’ s pleasant weather. They even frequently send the kids home with activity bags to do at home. They set up sessions that align with the current interests of the kids. The sessions that the kids partake in are so detailed and well thought out. All of the team are lovely and clearly go above and beyond with their work. I’ m exceptionally impressed by Acorns Nursery.

The seasonal menus offer home- cooked food which our little boy adores( and consistently has our mouths watering!). A key area for us was the food provided for the kids. We adore the closeness to nature with furniture and toys made from natural materials and the outdoor facilities are unrivalled, in our opinion. Our little boy is thriving at Acorn and we sense well supported with his development. He is genuinely excited to go to day‑care. He is cared for by his key worker and all the carers as if a family member. We sense our little boy’ s needs are consistently met and our routines at home are followed as closely as possible, which meant even as a‘ lockdown baby’ he settled quickly into day‑care without any issues. Here we found a secure, loving and delighted space. When choosing the day‑care it was important to us to sense that the day‑care and its team shared our values. We sense like Acorn Day Nursery in Sharnbrook is an extension of home for our baby boy.

We adore getting detailed updates about our little boy’ s day through the app as well as being able to chat with his key worker at drop off and pick up. The team are brilliant about following the interests of the kids and celebrating their successes. He comes home chatting about the adventures of each day or singing the songs he has learnt. He has grown in confidence because of the nurturing space. The team care deeply about each kid and my little boy has thrived because of their dedication, enthusiasm and commitment. The care is superb. He adores his time at day‑care and highlights include Forest School, cooking, doing yoga and dancing with his friends. My little boy has attended the day‑care for the last two years.

The dedication from all the individuals at Acorn Day Nursery( Sharnbrook), as well as the focus on being outside and their delicious, on- site prepared food throughout the day, make this day‑care outstanding for us! Activities include a fruit and vegetable garden and forest school grounds. Our kids and their friends have a superb variety of sessions throughout the year and as much as possible in their terrific outdoor play areas. Whenever our kids need it there is consistently a helping hand, a cuddle and a smile as well as a listening ear available. Our kids have enjoyed the professional, as well as a extremely personal and attentive team in all three rooms. The most marvellous team at Acorn Day Nursery( Sharnbrook) became part of our family for over three years.

Importantly they respond to feedback and initiate change where required. A distinct lack of plastic junk toys is refreshing as well as pro- active measures to protect the space from minimal use of animal protein to re- usable nappy sacks. The ethos of the day‑care is superb with lots of outdoor time and exploring and development in all weathers. Generally, the menus are truly wonderful and well balanced with a diverse healthy mix of foods. The chefs go above and beyond to ensure his food is both secure and nutritious. My little boy has complex allergies and leaving him anywhere is a worry, but I am 100% secure when I leave him at day‑care every day that he will be secure. They teach the little ones to be delighted, confident, kind and polite members of society right from day one. They are well trained, responsible and affectionate. The team are remarkable. My little boy has been at Acorn Nursery Sharnbrook for eighteen months, first in the baby room and then in the youngster room.
