Acorn Day Nursery (Kents Hill)

My daughter has settled into the nursery extremely well (she was previously at a different nursery). The manager is extremely approachable, supportive, organised and informative. An outstanding nursery all around! She can’t wait to leave home‑like for nursery and is extremely attached to her key worker already. The team are kind, patient and compassionate. My daughter started nursery at Acorns Day Nursery (Kents Hill) in January 2023 and I have been extremely impressed with the manager and the team there. I can tell that they do many activities during the day and the facilities/playtime areas for them are fantastic (always spotless and well-maintained).

The team are extremely inviting and approachable and make such a difference in the kids’s development and growth. Both my kids have attended Acorns (my daughter will be leaving to start centre in September), and I have nothing but positive things to say. The kids truly do become attached to the team because they make such an effort to bond and build relationships with those in their caregiving. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to others looking for a nurturing setting for their youngster/ren to attend.

It’s hard to put into words how much we adore Acorn Nursery Kents Hill and we wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend to others. Our eldest started when he was 11 months and finished in August when he was due to start centre. They create a super special setting for our kids every day and no day is the same! The team are incredible and make every day enjoyable for the kids along with teaching them key abilities ready for centre. The transition to centre has been seamless and I put a lot of that down to the time he spent at Acorn. It means the world to us to know she is so content and the team at Acorn are just remarkable, super enjoyable, nurturing and just the best! My daughter is currently in the squirrels room and runs in happily every day.

Outstanding hard-working team, excellent atmosphere. Lots of development with activities and different ways of teaching. Educators extremely approachable and excellent feedback sessions. The playtime activities are extremely innovative.

He gets the most delicious food homemade by the chef, which honestly makes me a little envious and hungry when seeing what he has eaten. I adore Acorns Kent’s Hill, and so does my little one. They also include parents at special stay and playtime events. He loves the nursery and the activities – lots of emphasis on outdoor playtime and developing their abilities. Lastly, they have a fantastic reporting feature, which keeps me updated on my youngster’s activities throughout the day. It is an inclusive nursery, which has accommodated his vegan diet and his allergies. This is the second nursery for our little one (23m), and both my older kids attended nursery too (though not this one, as that was years ago!), so I know a few things about what I think makes a excellent nursery. The team are remarkable – so nurturing and truly make an effort to understand what makes my youngster likes/dislikes and personalises (as much as they can) their activities to help them develop.

Highly recommended by us! I adore how much they can playtime outside and go out for outings. I’m looking fwd to my younger son joining in September. They teach them so much and always have time to talk to you with updates etc. We are so pleased with how Acorn runs; the team are incredible and nurturing and always make me feel at ease when dropping my son off.

They do lots of different activities, and forest centre each week is a delightful way to explore surroundings. Her vocabulary and overall growth has flourished so beautifully over the last year! They do visits to a local library, caregiving home‑like or shops which is fantastic development for little ones. I’m so grateful we moved our daughter to this nursery and will be extremely sad when she leaves. Updates with team is incredible, they always give us feedback on how her day has been and what they have been doing. I cannot thank all team and the manager enough for all their efforts in looking after and teaching our daughter. We are extremely content with everything. My daughter has been attending Acorn Day Nursery at Kents Hill for nearly a year now. The team are absolutely fabulous, they are nurturing but equally teach the kids independence and important life abilities.

The team is extremely attentive to my youngster. I am extremely satisfied with the team. Thanks to all the team for their caregiving and concern. My youngster has begun to talk more. My youngster goes to kindergarten with fantastic pleasure. I such as it that kids spend many hours outdoors and the youngster develops well.

We couldn’t think of a better place to leave our kid while at work. They enjoy going on trips to the woods and being outside. Nurturing and approachable team. Kids are the centre of every session. He is content and well cared for.

We especially adore the various events held, such as Mother’s/Father’s day breakfast which we can also attend is fantastic as it gives us a glimpse of their setting. woohoo!”. Each morning when I tell my daughter she is going to nursery today, she gets all excited and says, “nursery! She absolutely loves it. All the team are so approachable and accommodating. The variety of activities they do gets their imagination going and nurtures their growth. We would most definitely highly recommend Acorn day nursery in Kent’s Hill. The app is a fantastic way for us to see what our daughter is up to; we adore the photos and videos shared on the app, which gives us peace of mind.
