Acorn Day Nursery (Cold Harbour)

They always have fantastic activities available, things that help him develop and explore. They have a pleasant outdoor space too. The team are truly enthusiastic about their work and look after him so well. I am truly pleased that my son attends this nursery. They give regular feedback on how he is getting on and also assistance me in helping him develop.

My son goes to Acorn and loves it, always goes in content and comes home‑like content. Nothing is ever too much for them, always respond when you message them. The team are incredible, would highly highly recommend. Couldn’t ask for much more.

Fantastic nursery, team are so approachable and keep us updated via the daily app and from team handovers. My son is so content here and I adore how much time he gets to playtime outside exploring nature. I highly recommended this nursery.

I would highly highly recommend Acorn Cold Harbour. The team genuinely caregiving about the kids and develop a remarkable connection with them. Thank you! Both of my kids have attended the setting and I can’t speak highly enough of it. They have the best chef inside who creates incredible meals for the kids and is inclusive of kids with special dietary requirements, making sure my two allergy kids were able to eat what their friends were just adapted for their needs. The focus on wooden and open-ended development is better for the kids and the setting. You will always be greeted with a smile and warm‑hearted welcome anytime you drop or collect your youngster and have regular feedback about how they are getting on. The ethos of the nursery is extremely positive, has a excellent balance between youngster and adult led time and I adore that they have unlimited access to the massive outdoor area, including a hut and forest area.

The kids are always well cared for and there is a fantastic food selection. It is incredible how much she has learnt over the past year. I would highly highly recommend it. Outstanding team, my daughter loves them and they are extremely attentive.

My grandson enjoys the outdoors and this is an ideal nursery setting for him. Thank you to all the team. Team are so approachable and take the time to talk to you and feedback. Adore reading the updates and seeing what the kids do…..the outside yoga is so pleasant.

Her vocabulary is improving, her confidence is growing and she is exploring lots of new things. She absolutely loves being outside, which they always offer her, no matter the weather and she eats extremely well there. Her key worker is incredible and she coped extremely well with my daughter being quite clingy and she is becoming less so. My daughter absolutely loves it at nursery. My only criticism, if anything, is I’d such as more photos, as I’m so intrigued to know what she’s up to and we see so many photos of other nurseries doing trips out and I don’t think my daughter has ever done one, but that’s just being ultra picky.

She speaks about the girls when she is at home‑like and has an incredible relationship with them all. My daughter is extremely attached to me and finds it difficult when separated from me, but the team at Acorns have been incredible and she absolutely loves going into nursery now. I am always updated with photos and stories of what she has been up to. They are extremely supportive and delightful ladies, I couldn’t hope for better people to be looking after my daughter while I work. They also help me with patching her eye which has a squint and it has gone from a stressful task to something she thoroughly enjoys doing. Absolutely highly recommend this nursery, they are incredible!

The facilities are awesome, and the outdoor space for the kids is incredible. My little one loves going to nursery every day. I am a extremely anxious mother but I feel totally at ease taking my youngster to nursery each day knowing she is in well-looked-after hands. The team are brilliant and understanding – catering to my needs as an anxious parent and reassuring me when I have concerns. She is usually clingy, but as soon as she sees those nursery gates she pelts full speed towards the door ready to go inside. If that isn’t a testament to how excellent this nursery is then what is? My youngster comes home‑like every day with a huge smile on her face (often covered in paint too) because she has had so much enjoyable playing and creating and making a mess.

She comes home‑like and tells me new things she’s learnt almost every day. My daughter has been attending Cold Harbour for just over a year now and I couldn’t be happier with her progress. She loves all the practitioners within the nursery and has made so many friends.
