Abacus Nursery

Communication is great and they are truly dedicated and extremely approachable – they have been incredible with helping me sort out my son’s next steps. My little one enjoys being here! They are always smiling and ready to help – and have the children’s best interests and individual needs at heart. Abacus Nursery is incredible. And are always pleased to accommodate any changes we need to make.

The app is great for keeping you regularly updated with what your kid has been doing throughout the day, what they’ve eaten, what sleep they’ve had and the excellent activities they’ve taken part in, the photos we get show us just how much she’s enjoying herself. Fantastic childcare centre and crew! Our little one started at this childcare centre in January 2019. Her keyworker has been fantastic, exceptionally welcoming and easy to talk to as are all the personnel members. The meals they are given are healthy and homemade, our young lady often eats seconds. Activities are fun and varied, the active music sessions and French with madame are a particular favourite hers. It was difficult to leave her but the personnel were fantastic with her settling in sessions, exceptionally caring and helpful putting us both at ease. She treasures going to childcare centre and often mentions the crew when at home.

This nursery setting is excellent, our little one goes for 3 days a week and absolutely adores it. She has thrived since starting at 9 months old. She has made lots of friends is always talking about them and her keyworker even when she hasn’t been. Would strongly suggest to others. Her confidence has grown and her vocabulary has come on massively.

I would definitely and have recommended Abacus to friends and family. Abacus are fantastic. I am exceptionally pleased with Abacus.

He is supported with his emotional needs and since a recent diagnosis, his health needs have been supported immeasurably. Since our boy has been at the early‑years hub, he has thrived. When discussing the diagnosis, the first thing his keyworker said was ‘how can we help?’ Thank you!

All the team at the nursery setting were so understanding and ensured that we were supported all throughout the transition period, and did everything they could to help us feel comfortable whilst we worked with them to get him settled in. We were truly apprehensive about sending our little boy to early‑years hub with him being a ‘lockdown baby’ as he’d never been left alone with anyone other than ourselves and his nanny. Communication is great, and we are kept updated on his headway every step of the way. We have noticed that since attending nursery setting his social abilities and speech are coming on in leaps and bounds and his confidence is building every day! He has now been at the nursery setting for nearly two months and really enjoying it. We are so pleased with the care provided by all the personnel, and really couldn’t be happier!! The app is fantastic and a great way to keep parents up to date throughout the day, without the need to call in and check how the little ones are doing in the beginning!

To have to go back to work full time with no assistance structure is extremely nerve-racking, however, I have had complete comfort at leaving my young lad at Abacus from day 1. They are all always so welcoming and willing to give my little boy cuddles. He adores school and it makes us so delighted. I cannot speak strongly enough about this fantastic school and wonderful team. They have been incredible with him and the assistance we have received. My boy has grown leaps and bounds since he started.

My little one absolutely treasures this childcare centre, he is always so delighted to go in and the personnel are so warm and welcoming. The activities they get up to are truly varied and the food they are given is always truly nutritious and they are really respectful of diet preferences. They send out regular updates throughout the day which is great to see. Management have always been extremely responsive in emails and exceptionally supportive.

Thanks to all the team. Just want to say Abacus is indeed a well-kept secret in Newbury. The team are exceptionally cordial and supportive. I started taking my girl there in July and I have seen her develop so quickly. I will suggest if you live or work in the area – or if you need to use their services. She is pleased, social and able to interact well with others. She’s had lots of diet restrictions due to allergies and the team have been truly accommodating and useful to ensure she still gets healthy and nutritious allergen-free meals.

And yes they are exceptionally helpful with additional days and schedule changes. Abacus helped and ensured they accommodated my timings and helped me reassure he was in protected hands. Our boy enjoys and enjoys the nursery setting I have always been at peace even on days he isn’t in the best of moods he will be taken support off. As a first time mother, I was exceptionally anxious about leaving my kid at a daycare and getting back to work. I would suggest this early‑years hub. The day is filled with multiple activities and he enjoys them thoroughly the crew is extremely cordial and caring.
