March 15, 2019 at 12:00 amI’ve taken my daughter out of A G N E S Day Nursery.
They wouldn’t be able to tell me anything about what she’d been doing in the 7 hours she had been there. The staff didn’t know which bag or coat was hers (She’d had the same bag for 2 years and coat for 4 months).
After 2 years they were still miss-spelling her name. Her book would be filled in on average twice a month.
My daughter liked her key-worker, unfortunately, she was part-time. I would hear things about my child through another parent.
My daughter would make friends, those children would then leave. No effect went into helping my daughter make new friends although a few weeks before I took her out they did track her movements around the room.
This nursery used to allow parents to swap days, now it seems only certain parents are awarded this convenience.
The nursery no longer does a nativity play.
I emailed the manager with my concerns but she did not respond. My daughter is now happy at another pre-school. A G N E S Day Nursery did transfer the funding.

October 2, 2020 at 12:00 amWe have loved sending our darling son to A G N E S Day Nursery. He has made friends with a large number of the children. He is excited to walk through the door every morning and happy to come home and tell us about his various adventures.
His keyworker responds to my questions quickly and effectively. I have felt supported in his toileting and sleep routines.
All of the staff are lovely and knowledgeable. They are supportive of each other and all of the children and their families.
I have loved reading and going through his journey book every other month. It is wonderful to see all the different learning activities he has taken part in. Each time I have been surprised by how far he has progressed. It has spurred me into trying some of the activities at home myself.
As a family we have enjoyed taking part in the family visit day/events. Our darling son has really enjoyed the visits that the nursery has taken him on out into the community (ducks, care home, shops and playgrounds).

October 7, 2020 at 12:00 amHighly recommend AGNES, a warm welcome always and the ladies are all wonderful. The difference in confidence and vocabulary and skills we have seen since he started there has been amazing! The perfect setting and environment to get the little one school ready!
10 out of 10!
