September 6, 2024 at 10:34 amOver the last couple of years he has developed amazingly through 100 Acre Wood Day Childcare centre, you can even see it week by week. I often worry about his food variation at home, but am comfortable knowing he gets the best healthy meals day in, day out, throughout the week! He loves all the activities and team at 100 Acre Wood. Since our boy was seven months old, we felt it was important for him to have early years development.

September 17, 2024 at 7:57 amHe took a while to adjust to being away from home but now loves going and enjoys the variation in activities and often joins in with activities he wouldn’t try at home, such as painting or drawing. Attendance has truly helped his interaction with his peers and his self‑assurance.
Would highly suggest the educators and the pre- school room! My little boy is 3 and a half and is enjoying his time here.

October 6, 2024 at 10:50 pmThey are so on the ball with everything. The new management and team in place are incredible. My son loves going to this childcare centre and they have helped him develop so much.
With all the new rules in place, I sense secure knowing my son is in excellent hands.
They are welcoming and are outstanding at communicating with parents. The observations get completed and sent for parents to look at frequently and you consistently sense in the loop with what’s happening.
The team and management work excellent together and they all know and take on board kids’s needs and have built a exceptional relationship with my son. It’s a secure, cheerful, well-led place for any kid. This childcare centre has been exceptional over the last year.

October 27, 2024 at 6:14 amBoth of my kids have started in the baby room and stayed all the way up to starting school. It’s so lovely that they can cater for all of these stages under one roof as the kids truly get to know the setting and the team and moving rooms is a less stressful transition for the kids.
My daughter has struggled with leaving us after all of the Covid disruptions but the team at 100 Acre Wood Day Childcare centre have consistently been so inviting, patient and attentive with her (and me!) and she now truly enjoys going in. She has made lots of friends and we hear lots about her day both from the team at pick-up and from my daughter on the walk home!
I sense like the team truly understand my daughter (even though she only goes for one and a half days) and are consistently looking for ways to stimulate her and develop her interests. She has some lovely relationships with them and I consistently sense she is in excellent hands when I drop her off. This is such a welcoming childcare centre and preschool.

He loves the fact he can choose the ‘front’ or ‘back’ garden and going to childcare centre each day is a joy for him! My son has been at the childcare centre since he was 7 months old, he’s now reaching 2 and a half and he is thriving!

November 24, 2024 at 1:01 pmWe have received such a inviting welcome from all team, the kids settled in truly well in both toddler and pre-school rooms. Seeing both our kids so cheerful to go in the morning and excited to tell us about their day when they come home has been a huge relief!
Our youngest has consistently needed a bit more reassurance when she is exploring new surroundings; within the first twenty minutes of our first settling session at the childcare centre, she was already cuddling a member of team and joining in with other kids on a baking activity! I was still in the room as this was the first settling session but she totally ignored me and it was excellent to see.
Our eldest, in pre-school, has made lots of new friends and knows all team members by their first names. He is consistently telling us how much he loves pre-school which again is excellent to hear! A truly excellent childcare centre, we recently moved and the kids joined towards the end of the 2022 year.

December 4, 2024 at 1:46 pmThe food provided is varied and allows my kids to explore food I may not cook at home. The outside areas are truly great and are used in all weathers. The team are all welcoming, my boys have and still delight in going to childcare centre.

December 6, 2024 at 2:12 pmThey have been at 100 Acre Wood for 3.5 months and have settled in truly well. This is testament to the lovely team who take such excellent care of them. It’s been a strange time for them to start childcare centre, after spending most of their first year without contact with other people and we weren’t sure how they would adapt, but they are so cheerful to attend and are consistently incredibly chatty and babble away to each other when they come out at the end of the day. The team are well‑informed, welcoming and interested in what our girls are up to when they’re not at childcare centre and we sense they are in the best possible hands when we leave them. The girls adore the different activities they take part in at childcare centre and we appreciate the updates we get, to let us know what they’ve been up to and how this relates to their discovering and development. I would absolutely suggest the childcare centre. Our twin daughters are so cheerful at this childcare centre.

Team know what he’s done, what he’s eaten, how he’s slept on and at pick up I consistently get a great report to tell his mum when I take him home. Couldn’t suggest this childcare centre enough. I pick up my grandson twice a week from the childcare centre and I find the team welcoming, approachable and consistently cheerful.

January 28, 2025 at 11:12 amHowever, we have no need to be, from the moment go the manager and her team have been nothing but expert, welcoming and made my daughter and us sense like part of the family. She comes home every day afterwards buzzing, excited to tell us about her day and I can’t tell you how cheerful that makes us. The food menu is healthy and my daughter eats it all every day she goes! The amount of thought they put into the sessions is incredible and I can highly suggest them. My second daughter is due to start next year and I’m sure she will delight in it just as much. Our daughter currently attends 100-Acre Wood and after a turbulent year being in and out of another childcare centre due to sickness, we were slightly nervous about putting her into another one.

I am 100% confident that my kid has a fantastic time and encouraged to see how well they are developing. As my kid will be a young 4-year-old starting school next year and I have no doubt that with the team’s assistance they will be more than ready. The team at 100 Acre Wood Day Childcare centre are exceptional.

March 6, 2025 at 9:05 pmFrom the moment I enquired about availability and looked around, I knew my kid would be in secure hands. Every team member is welcoming, approachable and welcoming. My kid has developed so much in the short time they have been going there. I am confident when I walk away each day that she will have a excellent journey. No two days are the same. Unique imaginative creative activities are consistently on the agenda. I adore the discovering book updates – being able to see what the kids are up to consistently makes me smile. The end of day handovers is informative and thorough. My kid has a big smile at drop off and is sad to leave. I am so glad they will have a few more years here to develop with such a lovely team. I cannot rate this childcare centre highly enough.

My son is in the baby room and all the girls that I have come into contact with are so welcoming when I have had to do any drop-offs or collections,
Sleeps, food and general well-being are consistently reported back to me!
Also, the discovering book updates me fantastically with photographs and development milestones! Keep up the great work! At 100 Acre Wood Day Childcare centre, the manager and the team are truly remarkable!

We sense our kid is in secure hands. We are highly cheerful with the childcare centre and will not hesitate to suggest them. The team look after our toddler well.

April 23, 2025 at 11:36 pmWe moved to the village when he was two years old, so had to move him from his old childcare centre (where he was highly settled) – the team were inviting and attentive, and helped him to settle in highly quickly. Six months later, we were in COVID lockdown… during which he turned three, so once the childcare centre re-opened, he was due to go back to the Pre-School room (having previously been in the Toddler room). The team handled his transition amazingly, despite the many government restrictions. The managers have consistently been quick to respond to queries, and keen to help wherever possible. All the team who work/have worked with our son (in both rooms) have been lovely, truly inviting and welcoming. We consistently get a great update at the end of each day which is nice, so we know what he’s been up to, what he’s eaten, any problems, how he’s been that day, etc. He goes into childcare centre highly happily every morning! Definitely suggest. We are highly cheerful with the standard of care provided to our son at 100 Acre Wood.

They have supported my daughter from a baby and even when her sister was born made sure this was included in her day by speaking about her. Cannot praise this childcare centre high enough. What a lovely place for my kid to develop. 100 Acre Wood Day Childcare centre has been nothing but incredible for our family.

June 26, 2025 at 11:28 pmShe has such a lovely bond with her key person and I consistently sense at ease when leaving her in the morning. I receive a lovely handover at the end of her sessions and am often presented with photos of her enjoying her time within the childcare centre setting. My little girl loves being outdoors and with 100 Acre Wood having excellent outdoor facilities she is able to fulfil her enjoyment.
Overall, all team are welcoming and the childcare centre consistently has lovely activities set up throughout the setting which you can see all kids enjoying and thriving from. My little girl has been attending 100 Acre Wood Day Childcare centre since June 2021 and absolutely loves the team and the activities she takes part in.
