100 Acre Wood Day Nursery Frampton Cotterell

This nursery has been brilliant over the last year. They are so on the ball with everything. The new management and staff in place are amazing. My son loves going to this nursery and they have helped him develop so much.
With all the new rules in place, I feel safe knowing my son is in great hands.
They are friendly and are excellent at communicating with parents. The observations get completed and sent for parents to look at frequently and you always feel in the loop with what’s happening.
The staff and management work great together and they all know and take on board children’s needs and have built a brilliant relationship with my son. It’s a safe, happy, well-led place for any child.

We are very happy with the standard of care provided to our son at 100 Acre Wood. We moved to the village when he was two years old, so had to move him from his old nursery (where he was very settled) – the staff were warm and caring, and helped him to settle in very quickly. Six months later, we were in COVID lockdown… during which he turned three, so once the nursery re-opened, he was due to go back to the Pre-School room (having previously been in the Toddler room). The staff handled his transition amazingly, despite the many government restrictions. The managers have always been quick to respond to queries, and keen to help wherever possible. All the staff who work/have worked with our son (in both rooms) have been lovely, really warm and friendly. We always get a good update at the end of each day which is nice, so we know what he’s been up to, what he’s eaten, any problems, how he’s been that day, etc. He goes into nursery very happily every morning! Definitely recommend.

I cannot rate this nursery highly enough. From the moment I enquired about availability and looked around, I knew my child would be in safe hands. Every staff member is friendly, approachable and welcoming. My child has developed so much in the short time they have been going there. I am confident when I walk away each day that she will have a great experience. No two days are the same. Unique imaginative creative activities are always on the agenda. I love the learning book updates – being able to see what the children are up to always makes me smile. The end of day handovers is informative and thorough. My child has a big smile at drop off and is sad to leave. I am so glad they will have a few more years here to develop with such a lovely team.

Our twin daughters are so happy at this nursery. They have been at 100 Acre Wood for 3.5 months and have settled in really well. This is testament to the lovely staff who take such great care of them. It’s been a strange time for them to start nursery, after spending most of their first year without contact with other people and we weren’t sure how they would adapt, but they are so happy to attend and are always incredibly chatty and babble away to each other when they come out at the end of the day. The team are knowledgeable, friendly and interested in what our girls are up to when they’re not at nursery and we feel they are in the best possible hands when we leave them. The girls love the different activities they take part in at nursery and we appreciate the updates we get, to let us know what they’ve been up to and how this relates to their learning and development. I would absolutely recommend the nursery.

My son has come on leaps and bounds since attending!
My son is in the baby room and all the girls that I have come into contact with are so welcoming when I have had to do any drop-offs or collections,
Sleeps, food and general well-being are always reported back to me!
Also, the learning book updates me fantastically with photographs and development milestones! Keep up the good work!

This is such a welcoming nursery and preschool. Both of my children have started in the baby room and stayed all the way up to starting school. It’s so lovely that they can cater for all of these stages under one roof as the children really get to know the setting and the staff and moving rooms is a less stressful transition for the children.
My daughter has struggled with leaving us after all of the Covid disruptions but the staff at 100 Acre Wood Day Nursery have always been so warm, patient and caring with her (and me!) and she now really enjoys going in. She has made lots of friends and we hear lots about her day both from the staff at pick-up and from my daughter on the walk home!
I feel like the staff really understand my daughter (even though she only goes for one and a half days) and are always looking for ways to stimulate her and develop her interests. She has some lovely relationships with them and I always feel she is in great hands when I drop her off.

Brilliant nursery, staff are super friendly and attentive to the children, they look after the children to the absolute best of their abilities and I couldn’t ask for more from them. My child is always happy, safe and that’s all I can ever ask for.

My son has been at the nursery since he was 7 months old, he’s now reaching 2 and a half and he is thriving! He absolutely loves the staff and the nursery and his development really showcases when he is at home. He loves the fact he can choose the ‘front’ or ‘back’ garden and going to nursery each day is a joy for him!

My little girl has been attending 100 Acre Wood Day Nursery since June 2021 and absolutely loves the staff and the activities she takes part in.
She has such a lovely bond with her key person and I always feel at ease when leaving her in the morning. I receive a lovely handover at the end of her sessions and am often presented with photos of her enjoying her time within the nursery environment. My little girl loves being outdoors and with 100 Acre Wood having great outdoor facilities she is able to fulfil her enjoyment.
Overall, all staff are friendly and the nursery always has lovely activities set up throughout the setting which you can see all children enjoying and thriving from.
