Springthorpe Day Nursery & Pre-school

He looks forward to going now, which I didn’t think would happen, but that is all down to how reassuring and wonderful the crew are. Staff are always exceptionally welcoming. The app is excellent as we get updates throughout the day. Overall, I am truly impressed and delighted. My boy has struggled with being upset going, but they have really looked after.

The area manager was professional when she contacted me and obviously, she tried to sort the situation but I feel it’s my responsibility to tell other parents my situation. I was told this by the area manager. We decided not to send any of my other little ones because we feel it went downhill and not because of the team I would say the manager. Previous to that, there were people there with no uniform. Which is fair enough but they only started letting me know who was looking after my boy after I spoke to her. A truly high team turnover which I was told was because they are trying to get the right crew and let go of old team that don’t fit what Tommies are trying to uphold. My young lad was going there up until July. My husband and I were not pleased with the manager and her attitude towards my husband for a “misunderstanding” which wasn’t a misunderstanding at all, the manager lied. Along with other things that happened where I wasn’t listened to or just ignored.

The team are great, and the place is extremely spotless, and there is plenty of things. There are lots of activities for my youngster to explore. All information is in the app. My kid really enjoys his time there. Very delighted with the childcare provided.

Good correspondence with them, daily updates and kind management. My young lad adores to go there, not even one cry. Great childcare centre with great team. Highly recommended. Lots of activities with kids that teach them.

A month later she was cheeky enough to call me to request another month’s payment, as an excuse I was told I didn’t give notice in writing, but at the same time in 1 month’s time nobody even called to ask if the little one is alright, if she’s coming back or how she’s doing, I received a phone call only when they were after money. Springthorpe kept refusing entry for my youngster and requested PCR test results, even if she was not ill. I feel disgusted remembering this awful journey. Avoid this place! Management behaviour and attitude are greedy and disgusting. At the top of this, I paid full month fees and stop bringing my little one as the manager wouldn’t let her in. After contacting DfE and finding out no early‑years hub is allowed to request PCRs for toddlers, the manager started to lie saying she never requested a PCR test. Staff didn’t do as much as at least measure her temperature, instead kept refusing her entry from day to day while I saw other kids walking into the childcare centre with a severe cough.

I and Mom are exceptionally thrilled. My daughter’s needs are always met with this childcare centre. She has lots of friends, and she has something new to tell us every day. The team that work closely with her always go above and beyond.

I would wholeheartedly advocate this nursery setting. She has settled in exceptionally well, thanks to the extremely useful personnel and the welcoming setting. My girl has been attending this childcare centre for a while and really enjoys her time here.

Myself as a parent, I am so pleased with the early‑years hub and cannot fault a thing. I am constantly updated with what my little one eats, when she sleeps and what activities she does in the day via the app. My girl has been attending the childcare centre since April, and for the short time she has been there, she absolutely enjoys it here. All of the crew are welcoming, kind and always approachable for chat. She has come on leaps and bounds with her confidence since attending the early‑years hub, and I have total peace of mind when she is there. I honestly cannot think of a single bad word to say. We are encouraged as parents to be involved with our childs growth, with monthly activities to do at home, and we are asked to submit information on what our youngsters do outside of childcare centre.

An fantastic, beautiful childcare centre, fantastic environment, spotlessly hygienic and lovely crew. Best nursery setting I have encountered. I enjoy the surrounding and playing activities to them. Highly recommended by me. My little one adores the childcare centre.

Since starting at Springthirpe Day Nursery, my young lad has learnt so much, and his confidence has better too. The crew here are fantastic, and their caring, nurturing and overall brilliant way with the little ones is an asset to the company. I cannot advocate Springthorpe enough to other parents.
