They have such friendly and experienced staff and lots of facilities for all children

September 10, 2019 at 12:00 amWould highly recommend this nursery, my son went here and absolutely loved every second. My son loved being outside learning and they have such a lovely outside area for children to play and learn. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

June 23, 2020 at 12:00 amMy daughter started at Jack and Jill’s in September and has settled in so well. We were nervous as she had been happy at her previous preschool but she has loved it and is always excited to go and see the staff and her new friends.

June 23, 2020 at 12:00 amLovely staff who know my son very well and all his likes, dislikes, friendship groups etc. Sounds simple but other preschools I have used haven’t been able to really answer the simplest questions about how he has settled in. Lots of messy outdoor play which my son loves and a clean, warm environment with lots of facilities. Would recommend to anyone!

June 23, 2020 at 12:00 amMy daughter has had the most wonderful journey at Jack and Jill, she will be very sad to leave. All the staff are amazing they have helped her grow and develop into a confident person. All the team are fantastic they have all been a real support to our family and I cannot thank them enough. The activities are great and she will miss playing in the lovely garden. I would definitely recommend Jack and Jill to anyone.

June 23, 2020 at 12:00 amI have started with Jack and Jill Nursery part-time last year in April as I had concerns my boy doesn’t learn enough at the childminder and not enough children his age to socialise/integrate and to be ready for school for September last year.
After a month I was so pleased with the outcome at Jack and Jill that he went on full time and his 2-year-old sister shortly followed too.
He was so happy to go back to the nursery and wouldn’t want to go back to the childminder.
I am a single parent working full time and for me, it is important my children are happy and well looked after when I am not there. I cannot thank enough to all management and staff which has supported, cared and understand not just my children but me also.
My boy school transition went really well and he is always happy to go back to nursery if he can.
My daughter, she is 3 and a half now and I am amazed how far she has come and I am sure she will miss it dearly when she moves to school next year.

June 23, 2020 at 12:00 amThis nursery has been the most amazing place for both my boys. The staff are fantastic and caring and super efficient at what they do. My boys both had key workers who can give me an accurate account of what they have been up to during their day at nursery and gives me complete peace of mind knowing they are being so well cared for. I would recommend Jack and Jill to anyone.

My son was a little reluctant at first as he had always been with me so took a little while to settle, the staff were very patient and caring, everyone seemed to know him really quickly and used his interests to help him separate from me. He has now been there over a year and has formed great relationships with the staff (who really know him) and made friends. He’s more than ready for school in September and has made some lovely memories including being a little mouse on the carnival float. The setting is lovely, great space, lovely resources and really lovely outdoor areas. I loved it as soon as I looked around and my view hasn’t changed. Will be sad to move on.

June 23, 2020 at 12:00 amCan not rate this nursery highly enough. All the staff are lovely and my son (3) has been going there 4 days a week for over a year now and he absolutely loves it. The staff have also been really supportive with his speech development and getting me some additional support and advice. The indoors is a large, well-organised space. The outdoor area is lovely big size with good shade covering and plenty of things for the children to play on.

October 14, 2020 at 12:00 amI would thoroughly recommend Jack and Jill Day Nursery. My little boy really enjoyed his time there. The staff were warm, friendly and approachable and were always willing to help. Being an active boy, my son loved the large outside play area, especially the bikes, mud kitchen and sandpit. The staff really took an interest in the things he enjoyed and nurtured them, adapting activities to get the best out of him. I feel that he progressed really well during his time there both academically and socially and was totally ready for school when he started this September. He has some lovely memories. Thank you.

January 22, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son has attended Jack and Jill nursery for just over 2 years and he absolutely loves it there. He knows and loves all of the staff and has made lots of friends. He enjoys going in every day and I feel very confident with everything that the staff have done to make the setting safe, in relation to Covid-19. I have seen my son grow and develop in many ways since attending Jack and Jill’s and it has set him up well for starting school in September. We will miss everyone a lot when the time comes to leave. I would highly recommend this setting for your child.

She had previously been attending another setting at which she knew no other children’s names. Within a few weeks of attending Jack and Jill’s, she had made genuine friends and really came out of her shell. She absolutely loves going to playschool and is so excited to share all the activities she has done when we collect her. She also loves the teachers too.

January 27, 2021 at 12:00 amWe moved our son to Jack and Jill Day Nursery in June 2020. He settled into the nursery ever so quickly and since moving there, he’s been so excited to go in every day. He has formed a good group of friends which he talks about regularly and he always talks about his days so positively.
From day one we have been so impressed with every single member of the team and cannot thank them enough for making our lives so much easier.

February 12, 2021 at 12:00 amI am so happy to have chosen Jack and Jill Day Nursery for my son. He has been going since July 2020. Very anxious at the time of how he would feel about being left at the nursery and how well he would settle in, but the staff have been amazing at settling my son into the nursery.
Every time he goes to nursery he’s always excited to go. His speech has improved amazingly since going to this nursery.
They are always doing fun things with him and he’s always happy when he leaves nursery.

August 18, 2022 at 12:00 amOur son has attended Jack and Jill Day Nursery since her was 8.5 months old. The staff are friendly and supportive and will respond quickly to any concerns or worries. Safeguarding is taken seriously, and management is very involved with the day-to-day running of the nursery. Children seem happy and supported emotionally. They also do a lot of fun and creative activities. Jack and Jill also support community projects such as the local food bank. I am very happy with the care this nursery has shown my son. They seem genuinely interested in his development and happiness, and I would therefore highly recommend them.

August 28, 2022 at 12:00 amOur little boy started at Jack & Jill Day Nursery in April 2022 when he was 10 months old, and understandably, a scary time for us as parents, but the staff were so welcoming and facilitating! We had various settle sessions and really got to know the staff! They have continued to be so caring, kind and accommodating of our baby’s needs (as well as ours). Our little guy always comes home suitably tired from days full of fun, which we love. The staff follow our routine as much as possible to provide that real home-from-home experience. The baby space is warm and welcoming! The next room also looks very exciting for when that time comes! Communication between parents and the staff is made easy via a parent app, and I always feel able to ask for updates throughout the day! We viewed a lot of childcare facilities when searching for the right one, and as soon as we viewed Jack and Jill, we knew, instantly, it was the right one! Thank you for taking good care of our son!

October 3, 2022 at 12:00 amI am so glad that I chose Jack and Jill Day Nursery for my son’s first experience in an educational setting. He joined when he was three and was there for almost a year and enjoyed going every day. All the staff are lovely, and they got to know him really well. Nothing was too much trouble, and they handled his food allergies diligently.
They got to know my younger daughter too, and she can’t wait to join them next year!

June 16, 2023 at 12:00 amMy little one attends Jack and Jill Day Nursery twice a week and they have been brilliant at welcoming him and accommodating to his needs.
We get a report each term, the family app for daily updates, opportunities for parent’s evenings and they keep track of progress in an individual child planner.
I would highly recommend to anyone, the staff are amazing.
