Ashley Cross Montessori Day Nursery

My daughter attended there for two years before starting school in September.
She was extremely cheerful there. The team were very welcoming and attentive to her and to us and prepared her very well for school (mainly through playtime) without her or us even realising! The team were also very expert. Our daughter had a history of febrile convulsions and she had a fit whilst in their care. They rang for an ambulance and contacted us immediately. I liked that the educators were mixed in age, sex and ethnicity – I was very impressed that my daughter learnt how to count in French and Spanish whilst at childcare centre. I cannot suggest this childcare centre highly enough!

She’s been there almost a year now and we have had zero cause for complaint. Throughout the lockdown period, the updates and assistance from the childcare centre was invaluable and on return, after lockdown, the childcare centre felt spotless and secure but still inviting and welcoming for both the kids and their parents.
Our little girl is full of self‑assurance and smiles after each session and we have seen her independence grow and grow under the guidance of the team. She has made friends, developed so many new skills and become one of the Ashley Cross Montessori family.
We highly suggest this childcare centre, the manager and all of her team! The moment we stepped into Ashley Cross Montessori and were greeted by the team we knew that it was the right place for our little girl to flourish.

When we visited Ashley Cross Montessori for the first time, we just knew it will be our little girl’s childcare centre. So our little one started Ashley Cross Montessori at 2 and finished at nearly 5. She absolutely enjoyed going to the childcare centre every time and she likes everyone she has met there. She felt really sad for leaving the childcare centre as she had to go to reception and she still talks about it now and then. Every time we drive past, she would remind us this was the route we used to get to the childcare centre. From our view, Ashley Cross Montessori has a fantastic team who cares about you and your kid and our (nearly) 3 years of journey proves it. I would highly suggest Ashley Cross Montessori. We chose Ashley Cross Montessori not only for the Montessori philosophy and also for the setting and the team.

They are nurturing, supportive to both parents and kids, accommodating and welcoming. The setting is spotless, lovely and stimulating. My twins went to the childcare centre for a year and a half and I saw them go from strength to strength. The school transition was outstanding and they are now thriving in school, are independent and confident. I couldn’t ask for more. I cannot fault the childcare centre in any way.

They do a number of activities so she develops a number of skills as well as having enjoyable. The meals offered are excellent too so she gets to journey a number of nutrients and tastes. My daughter loves going there and it’s been so great for her development.

It’s a loving discovering setting that has played an integral role in my daughter flourishing. I can’t rate them high enough. The childcare centre is a haven for the kids and the gentle teaching style of the tutors is a pleasure to witness.

Our little girl is very cheerful here and we are excited to watch her grow with the help of the team. We are so impressed with the childcare centre, the updates has been remarkable with regular updates and genuine care from the team.

Having visited several others in the area this is the only one I was really comfortable with. They did not disappoint! My daughter started school in September a cheerful and confident little girl who knows her own mind and this was completely encouraged by the childcare centre. She was consistently well cared for and consistently wanted to go into childcare centre. Thank you to the manager and her team for everything. I would highly suggest this childcare centre. My daughter started with Ashley Cross Montessori when she was 2.5.

My kid joined them in 2019 and did not speak English at the time yet we felt assured that she’d be fine. She thrived thanks to the team. The start was not easy for her (as it usually isn’t) and the team supported her emotionally so well that she soon felt cheerful and secure with them, and I was confident she is in excellent care. The Montessori method is applied wonderfully in this childcare centre. The setting is calm, it’s inspiring kids to discover more of the world in their own time. The team supports the kids’s own development, not forcing activities on them, going with the kid’s lead and helping them to make the most of their days. I adore how kids get to know and practice with everyday objects. I adore that they encourage the kids to be independent and that they communicate so well with kids and parents. Emotions are acknowledged and worked with. We sense really supported and cared for here. I can only suggest the childcare centre and the incredible neam at Ashley Cross!

Both my kids attended and loved every single day. We strongly believe in the Montessori approach and this childcare centre reminds me of the childcare centre I went to as a kid in Germany. We chose Ashley Cross Montessori over other nurseries closer to home and never regretted it. Both my kids are very different in character and I sense both were taken care of according to their individual sentiments. They weren’t treated with a one size fits all approach, but each teacher took the time to get to know them and help them grow their strengths and overcome any areas they found challenging. I couldn’t suggest this childcare centre enough. A truly fantastic childcare centre.
