Within 2 feet of the front and back doors of the childcare centre there are areas for hard standing, gardens and an area for the guinea pigs and the vegetable patch. The personnel are fantastic and caring, and treat each kid as individuals and work with us, the parents, to ensure that the little ones get the most out of their time there. The wider school grounds are fun to explore with two ponds, woods, Astroturf and adventure activities area. As a family, we treasure this nursery setting! I have one little one who has been through the early‑years hub and another who has just started. They are always decorated with current themes (like Chinese New Year) and use playtime and cookery to talk through the themes with even the youngest little ones. The early‑years hub rooms are full of crafting materials and a large assortment of toys and educational resources. The outside space is second to none. The food is varied and delicious (the catering team also cater for school functions so I can personally vouch for the quality of the food).

The personnel are extremely caring and always pleased to discuss any concerns. My little one has been extremely delighted at Tockington Manor Nursery since he started aged 2. In the Owls class (3 and 4-year-olds) they are helping them prepare for school with things like weekly swimming lessons and eating lunch in the school dining room. As a parent I couldn’t ask for more from the nursery setting or the personnel and my little one will leave thrilled, assured and ready for school! It is a wonderful setting for youngsters to absorb and playtime, with beautiful outside space and acres of ground to run around in and explore.

Our young lady has excelled at Tockington Manor Nursery, from the first day we bundled her into her uniform and through the door right up to now over a year on. Creative playtime and confidence feature enthusiastically, with regular feedback given, and online postings of activities and games. The team have all been lovely, and the updates and handovers just right. She transitioned from her previous nursery setting without a problem. Hopefully, the nursery setting will be able to open from 1-year onwards in the future, we would gladly have started with them then. We know how much our little one adores being outdoors, and she is constantly telling us, come rain or shine, of the exciting things she has discovered on one of her nature walks. The true test is the advocacy, and my wife and I, do this to all the new parents we know who live in the area. Our second girl is due to start this year, and we know she will be in good hands each day she is there.

The team are wonderfully supportive, caring, and go the extra mile for every kid. I would wholeheartedly endorse Tockington Manor nursery setting. The preschool activities really do prepare the little ones for the next step, so the transition to primary school doesn’t feel like a big leap. They really get to know each youngster and work with them so they can reach their full potential. My son’s confidence and independence have grown so much because of the attention and encouragement he has received from all the crew. In summary, Tockington Manor Nursery is superb! I have been so impressed with every aspect of what they offer. The facilities are well organised and maintained, and the rooms are full of engaging activities for the youngsters. On top of all these superb points, there are also incredible outdoor spaces that the little ones explore regularly, delicious and nutritious hot food, and regular correspondence for the parents.

There are many family events throughout the year such as Bonfire Night, Christmas Fayre, Easter Egg Hunt and Family Fun Day. They have access to the school swimming pool and swimming is part of the weekly activities in the final pre-school year. The childcare centre youngsters recently performed their Christmas activities and they all sang and acted beautifully. The outdoor space is fantastic and the kids spend lots of time outside and have dedicated nature days. I have been impressed with the absorbing through games and the more structured absorbing including absorbing languages, doing creative artwork and discovering letters and numbers. My young lady really enjoys going to Tockington Manor Nursery. Thoroughly recommended. They eat food in the school dining room and the menu is healthy, varied and delicious.

Tockington Manor Nursery ticks all the boxes of an exceptional nursery setting. Our little one has flourished here, due to the range and breadth of absorbing experiences provided by the warm, kind and professional personnel. She is now more than ready for ‘big’ school and we are counting down the weeks until our youngest can start!

Three particular ladies are some of my daughters favourite human beings in the whole wide world (her words not mine!) and it is clear to see why. The manager of the early‑years hub is always on hand if you have any questions, and you always receive prompt responses to any questions. The grounds speak for themselves, surrounded by woodlands and use of the school’s grounds and fields etc. We moved our girl to Tockington as soon as she was at the minimum age, and she has flourished ever since. All the crew I have come across are kind, approachable and know the youngsters truly well. The real shining stars of this early‑years hub, however, are the personnel. I will be dismayed when my girl leaves the childcare centre, as will she! There is clearly a strong focus on manners and vocabulary, which has really aided my daughter’s social advancement. The food is varied and fresh and always a highlight of my daughters day.

They support or reassure where appropriate and have always been so willing to spend time talking me through ‘challenging’ spells we may have with the boys, and the manager always makes time for ‘bigger picture’ conversations, especially through the pandemic, which has been brilliant. They’re also, fantastic help to me as a worrier mum! They each have a key person who seems to be whomever they most naturally bond with, but I’ll resist special mentions as they’re all lovely! Thoroughly advocate the nursery setting. Both of my sons are at Tockington Manor Nursery, one in the younger ‘Woodpeckers’ class and the other in the ‘Owls’. They are both so pleased there! Great things include the grounds, varied activities but most importantly to me, the crew who are genuinely interested in the youngsters and really focus on their individual needs to bring them on. Even early on when they were hesitant being left, they were both settled within minutes of me leaving, and the crew were so kind with them which made it easier!

Tockington is a lovely childcare centre with caring and warm practitioners. We feel as though the childcare centre is really part of our team when it comes to raising our little one. The team have been great in making her feel at home and helping her grow and develop. The fact she gets excited to enrol at every day shows us just how delighted she is to be here. My little one has been at the early‑years hub for a term now, and she is exceptionally settled and delighted.

The team manager is always available and open to talk to us. We are absolutely sure of the positive impact that the early‑years hub has created in our little one and we can’t wait for our baby to start going too. The school grounds are incredible and offer a huge variety of exploring experiences. Our young lady is the happiest girl there. They all know all the names of the youngsters, which creates an easier and safer setting. Tockington Manor Nursery is an incredible place. They work hard on multiculturalism, which is the main reason why we particularly chose them. The crew is really professional, they have a key person who truly cares about the well-being of your little one.

The early‑years hub has a fantastic, immaculate, organised setting for the youngsters. The outdoor space is especially good. The personnel are all kind and dedicated, clearly caring for the wellbeing of the little ones. Activities are fun, seasonal and designed to promote the child’s advancement. They do many activities with the little ones and put much thought into the schedule.

They could improve however in correspondence with the parents and help for youngsters with SEN but other than that it’s a great place. I’ve definitely seen my youngsters improvement and develop a lot since joining. Definitely have a lot to offer the youngsters such as cookery, environmental playtime, absorbing different languages and swimming. Tockington Manor Nursery is a extremely good childcare centre.

My boy treasures attending and has developed some lovely relationships with several personnel members and has made great friends. I would strongly suggest Tockington Manor Nursery. It’s lovely to hear about all the activities that he gets up to each day and see this on the app.

They have supported us with growth delays and toilet training and are always there for a chat if needed. My young lad has been at this early‑years hub just coming up to a year at Easter, he struggled to settle but with the assistance and enjoy he received from the team in Woodpecker 2 and then in Owls he has come to cherish it. My little one leaves this summer to go to school and I really can’t thank the crew enough for getting him ready for the next big adventure.

The youngsters have a brilliant variety of activities each day and have a beautiful landscape to explore. The preschool group also have swimming lessons and French. The team are all so welcoming and kind, my boy is always greeted with a smile. My little one started at the nursery setting back in September 2022 and has grown in confidence so much over the academic year. This is a great setting for little ones starting school and getting familiar with school life.

I couldn’t think of a safer and better place for my youngster to be at during the weekdays! We can’t thank the personnel enough for their support and efforts! Both my boy and presently my little one, are excited and pleased to join this nursery setting! Even during the pandemic, the childcare centre has kept a high level of professionalism and gave us the confidence that they are doing the best they can to keep our youngsters educated and protected! Both of my kids have developed many educational competences while at this nursery setting, and I am confident they are perfectly equipped to start school after finishing nursery setting!

Our little one started at the nursery setting at 2 and was initially quite unsettled, but we have been incredibly impressed with the effort that the nursery setting has made to settle her in. We had some issues with potty training, and the nursery setting was fantastic in supporting us and in introducing initiatives, which helped us at home. They are also incredibly supportive in terms of making things work for us as busy parents and are exceptionally flexible. She really treasures her key worker who has shown a real keenness to get to know our young lady and what she likes to do. They always seem to be doing a huge range of activitwoies, including lots of physical activities, and they have a huge amount of fun. Our girl particularly enjoys being outside and has adored all the environmental walks that they have done and the activities. They seem to do lots of things to help develop the little ones through games; she has come home discovering lots of new songs, games and has picked up letter sounds already.
