Atelier Nursery Bath

My girls have thrived here and I couldn’ t suggest it more strongly. The care they take building a team is incredible, they are all phenomenal. They’ ve been there through incredibly challenging periods and supported us all throughout them. It is a community that has provided a secure, enjoyable and engaging place for my kids to be and the team have become like extended family. I able’ t fault the day‑care. My eldest started in 2016 and we’ ve been there ever ever since. Both of our daughters have been at Atelier for their whole pre- school time.

Can’ t suggest Atelier Nursery strongly enough. For us, the free flow has been brilliant for our kids to be able to play together as they would at home. We loved that kids are able to explore the whole environment at their own pace and are not restricted to certain areas. The relationships with the team are key to the day‑care’ s success, the team are engaged and the sessions and resources are wide and varied. Our kids are delighted and confident and adore exploring and development and Atelier Nursery have played a large part in their development. We sense so lucky that we found Atelier Nursery Bath, our family have been a part of this environment ever since 2016.

So thank you Atelier. I adore the free flow concept and sense like all the kids seem so delighted there. Everyone knew his name from the beginning and that to me instantly made me confident that he was in terrific hands. It took ages to get him settled and everyone involved from management, his keyworker, whoever was at the door at drop off, were so welcoming and warm. My little one is such a sensitive soul and the entire team has been so loving and supportive from day one. There are many things I adore about Atelier.

Thank you Atelier! This seemed hard to imagine just a few months ago. He’ s transformed from a shy, anxious boy to a confident kid who’ s more than ready to start school. Atelier have ever since worked hard to secure additional assistance for his speech and language needs, and have helped him put strategies in place to overcome his anxieties around noise and transition. I was impressed how incredibly open and supportive the team were throughout that stressful time, providing daily inspiration for sessions to do with our kids at home; songs, videos, links to virtual art gallery tours, team cookery demos- the list goes on. He joined just a few months before the effects of the pandemic took hold. As a result he is thriving beyond our wildest expectations. Our little boy, who has special educational needs, has been at Atelier ever since September 2019 and has received incredible assistance- over and above what we would have ever expected of an early years environment.

Child may engage in sessions however I felt my one often chose not to hence his time was limited. Free flow idea as much as it appears terrific in theory in practice sometimes resulted in a lack of ownership as to who actually looked after my kid that day. Outdoor space is limited. Lack of pegs, my two consistently shared their pegs with another 2- 3 kids resulting in displaced bags and pieces of clothes everywhere. No ideal for an asthmatic kid. The sleeping area is extremely limited inside hence be prepared that your older kid will be sleeping outside come rain or shine. On a few occasions found my eldest crying in the toilet without his pants on and no- one to assist him. We often didn’ t know whether the kid slept or ate or even used the potty. Free flow day‑care where team often unavailable during drop off and/ or pick up times.

We only wish we might stay and play all day, there are consistently so many different thrilling sessions going on. Similarly, the free flow nature of the day‑care itself is building his independence and confidence to explore, able to move to the space or activity he is drawn to day to day, moment to moment. We adore the format of the family groups, with a mix of ages which we know stimulates our little boy well and allows him to gain so much from the people around him, forming lovely relationships. We are thrilled that our little boy has been able to get a place at Atelier Nursery, the team are marvellous, warm, welcoming and so supportive of both our little boy and family.
