The nursery has always been fantastic. All the carers from the ones you see daily, to the office staff and kitchen staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly and provide a super service to the children. I’ve had two that started in the baby room, and there have been tears but very short lived and now my girls barely give me a glance back as the skip happily into their rooms. They deserve to acquire the land next to playground to extend their outdoor space, as it is sufficient but, for children; they can easily fill every corner!

All three of my children have attended Busy Bees Haywards Heath over the last seven years which is a testimony to their truly outstanding work. There is a feeling that overwhelms as you enter the nursery, one that I have never felt anywhere else…it’s difficult to define because it is everywhere and in everything they do – warmth, kindness , joy , happiness , fun and laughter. Every member of staff goes the extra mile and exudes passion for developing the children in their care! I could not be happier with how my children have been cared for and supported and confidently say that they are growing into the wonderful people they are in part due to the incredible Early Years experiences they had at Busy Bees!

Both my girls love their time at Busy Bees Haywards Heath and baby number 3 is already on the waiting list. The staff are caring and the facilities really good plus the food is cooked on site and my kids love it! It’s not surprising they are outstanding

The nursery is run very efficiently, with very professional staff. It’s always clean and well presented, with good play equipment. Although it is situated in an old chapel, the inside of the building has a modern feel, and there’s a play area outside which the children can be taken out to.
The food is freshly prepared on site, with a 3-weekly menu which is changed every season and my child always enjoys the meals there, and eats everything. His special dietary requests are well catered for and taken very seriously.
There is a lot of free play, and they also have learning initiatives such as ‘babble to chatter’ and ‘shake and write’.
The staff are always friendly and have a good attitude towards the children, which I’m sure goes a long way to nurturing their confidence and self-esteem. If I ever ask anything, they will always remember to follow it up and look into things for me. My son is in the preschool room and looks forward to going to nursery and has made some lovely friendships.

Like any mother dropping their child off at nursery for the first time, I was apprehensive. Three years on and I cannot have hoped for better. Extreme thought goes into every detail – from the layout of the rooms in a beautiful Grade II listed setting to nutritious food prepared fresh on site every day to making each and every child’s experience as enjoyable as possible. The wellbeing of each and every child is top of the agenda. The highly trained staff strive to tailor their care to individual needs which encourage the children’s full potential. The staff are a credit to the nursery; they communicate well with parents and set an excellent example for the children. It is a credit to them that the children are polite, courteous and considerate towards others. The range of activities offered are thoughtful and creative. The garden could do with being bigger but it is one of the best I have seen in the area; it is well set out and oozes good quality equipment which promotes exploration.

My son has just left this nursery for school after 4 years and my daughter is in the toddler room. The care, fun and education provided by the dedicated, warm, knowledgeable staff is outstanding. The good communication between home and nursery makes it feel like an extended family. My children have been so happy and safe here, I have never had cause to worry and my son is now reaping the rewards of such a good pre-school education, at primary school.

My daughter literally skips into nursery each day – she loves it! This leaves me with such confidence and comfort, knowing I can go to work and she is happy and cared for. The staff are all so friendly, compassionate and experts in the field of child development. My daughter has learnt so much in her first year there. She is now 22 months old and, I feel, that she has developed so much more than if I didn’t work and she were at home with me every day! She comes home each day and has been painting, or doing crafts or cooking – she seems to have learnt a new word, song or action every day. She thrives there.

The facilities are impeccable. The building is secure and warm, there is a safe outside area for the children to play and each room has ample space for all manner of activities.

Thank you to all at Busy Bees for allowing me the peace of mind while I work, knowing that my daughter is safe, cared for and is receiving a terrific and fun educational start in life!

My daughter has been at the nursery for 15months now and has just flourished in this time. Really happy with her development in all areas. The staff are really loving and friendly. My daughter has formed a really strong bond with the team which just makes her time at the nursery more enjoyable. Looking forward to having my 2nd daughter join the nursery in a few months time!

What a wonderful place. After 10 months at home, we entered the world of day care at Busy Bees and we would not look back! Dropping off and picking up our daughter is a joy. She has found her second home, smiling at the building as we get out of the car and waving us out the door as she has breakfast with her friends. Staff are exceptionally attentive. There is a true family atmosphere here. Staff and management throughout, go out of their way to build positive relationships with children and parents. After just a few days, everyone seemed to know our daughter’s name, her favourite things and personality traits. From settling sessions, to room transitions, to messy play and happy mealtimes, we cannot fault their care and enthusiasm. The resources, activities, atmosphere, cleanliness, nutrition and general organisation led us to choosing Busy Bees. We have not been disappointed. Thank you for turning my return to work into a fantastic and loving experience for our daughter every day.

Our little boy first went to Busy Bees when he was barely 11 months old, and stayed until the week before he went to school. We had chosen to send him to a childminder as we thought that approach was more personal- but after he didn’t settle in well there, we found Busy Bees, and we haven’t looked back since.

Each key carer that he had, he bonded with and was very fond of. The level of attention and care given to him was what you would expect from a professional nursery, but what we didn’t expect and came to really appreciate, was the levels of affection that he also received. He was given fun learning experiences in an environment where he felt safe and happy.

This autumn he has happily made the transition to school- and I think a large part of his confidence in that environment and his eagerness to embrace the learning, is down to his time at Busy Bees.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this nursery and team, to anyone.

I couldn’t be happier with a nursery. Busy Bees at Haywards Heath is fantastic. I was extremely anxious to leave my baby at a nursery when I returned to work but very soon I was not only comfortable to leave her in the very capable hands of the staff, I’d even say I was happy to leave her as I knew she would have a great time and be well looked after. For this reason, I always recommend our nursery to others.

Busy Bees is a wonderful nursery and I feel very fortunate to be able to send my daughter there. The staff are excellent, attentive and genuinely care. I have been extremely impressed with all of the activities they provide. One of the other reasons we love the nursery is their amazing catering!

My daughter loves Busy Bees and literally drags me out of the house to go there in the mornings. The staff are so kind and thoughtful and always take the time to talk about how my daughter is progressing and what she’s been up to. I even get pictures of her put together in a little scrapbook, which is lovely and it makes me feel like I’m there with her. For me, it wouldn’t make sense to send my daughter anywhere else, especially during these uncertain times. I’ve looked at a lot of nurseries before deciding on taking my daughter to Busy Bees and other nurseries have been extremely bossy with everything from mandatory school uniforms by the age of 2 (!) to not allowing settling in sessions due to the pandemic… which would be straight up traumatic for most babies or children in a new environment. Busy Bees went out of their way to make sure my family was always comfortable with how to move forward and that is the reassurance you really want as a parent. Both my husband and I are pleased.

We are happy with the Busy Bees, Haywards Heath so far. Going really well for almost 2 months now. The only thing to mention is the updates on the parent zone app which was good in June, but for almost a month it’s not up to expectation. I don’t get any update until 1-2pm and again next set of updates after I almost pick up the kid. I would like to know about the state more frequently. Also, the updates are not very clear as before. Was not aware of other apps until now.

My son has been at the nursery since around 1 year old and having settled in straight away, has loved it ever since. He has made friends with the other children and staff and we love seeing the range of activities they get up to via the app. Daily updates on food, naps etc are very useful and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Generally well-meaning and friendly personal contact with staff. Face-to-face staff are caring to children. Excessive staffing changes and management changes in 2022 – difficult to keep up with who is working there and who has left. Very rigid in their adherence to corporate policy no matter what. Good examples: arriving 4 mins early for a meet and greet event and being told to wait outside in the rain because the event has not started yet. If you work Mondays, you will be penalised by being made to pay for every bank holiday including unusual ones like the Queen’s funeral – so this is really a waste of money.

Busy Bees has been a wonderful setting for our daughter who has now been with them for 5 months.
The staff are kind and caring, they obviously take a huge interest in each child individually. We have received the highest quality feedback and help with our daughter as well as advice on behaviour and communication to enable us to bring learnings home too.
They put effort into each day to ensure it is interesting for our daughter as well as to develop her interests through play.
We also love the open days and appreciate the effort put into the nursery decorations around holidays.
