We have two children at Woodstock Day Nursery and they skip into nursery every morning. The staff are amazing and we know the children are safe and having a wonderful day whilst we are at work. I could not wish for a more caring environment.

A brilliant nursery. We know we’re leaving our girls in safe hands and they both get so much from it. All staff are amazing.

My son has attended this nursery for nearly four years despite a difficult start for him and he has developed massively during his time here. He is social, polite, interested in the world, the nursery and staff have contributed enormously to this. We have friends children here on our recommendation.

My child has been at the nursery a little over a year and has come on leaps and bounds. She has progressed so much in this time and I can only accredit this to the wonderful work that all the ladies and gents do at this nursery. I couldn’t praise this nursery enough.

I really like the nursery and the staff. I have never seen a single day that myself and my daughter have not been greeted without a smile. Staff are nice and approachable. My daughter cries when I drop her every day but the staff (all of them) are so keen to make her happy and keep her occupied. It’s a peace of mind when I run for a busy day at work.

We have two children currently at the nursery and they both enjoy it hugely. They have really developed and there are many things they enjoy doing. The creative side is particularly good and they enjoy the support they have for Art.

    – Overall lovely nursery with lovely staff.
    – Very flexible and always happy to help.
    – Our child has thrived at this nursery and will be sad to leave.

    – So very grateful and happy to all the staff.
    Thank you.

Woodstock has been an excellent nursery for my daughter who started there aged 9 months old.
She has loved her time at Woodstock and has benefited from the excellent learning opportunities on offer and the social interaction, stimulation of both her peers and the fabulous staff.
She has enjoyed her time in the garden, free-flowing with the other age groups and street dance!
She loves her food and that which is provided by Woodstock has taken some beating to replicate at home on occasion!
Due to start school in September, she will be sad to leave Woodstock, however, she has been given an amazing start to launch from.

Our daughter has reached the point of ending her time at Woodstock in preparation for starting school. The most impressive and pivotal time there, as preparations for a new routine, the challenges of change and the unknown and new people have all been fully acknowledged, openly addressed and personally welcomed by all the staff. This has given our daughter the freedom, safety and skill – facilitated by Woodstock – to express her feelings, work through changes and build resilience and confidence in starting school.
The Woodstock leavers play was moving, funny, inclusive of all the children and primarily positive in saying farewell. They ensured this has all been individual, child-led, family-supportive and without these skills and expertise, we’d feel ill-prepared indeed.
Incredible groundwork we’ll always remember, reflected in the happiness of our daughter in her new chapter.

Our grandson has special needs and they are very well cared for by the staff at Woodstock. He is flourishing. Excellent communication with us, all the staff know us and are very welcoming. We are thrilled we moved him here.

Our son was at a previous nursery before Woodstock and it was the best thing we have done. He is so happy there, always excited to go. The staff have been so very welcoming and really put us at ease in this transition for our son. The facilities and outdoor space are wonderful and they have everything he could need. The care is what you would want as a parent. A home from home. We are extremely happy with their services and feel lucky to have got him a position there. Thank you Woodstock.

My 2 years old daughter just started the nursery, for the first time in September, and that was the best decision to start exactly with the Woodstock Day Nursery. Very warm welcome and friendly atmosphere, everything is settled for the kids, to enjoy, explore and develop. The staff is very supportive and very helpful. I was provided with all information. They are very supportive in terms of flexibility with the hours, for which I’m very glad and thankful! My daughter absolutely loves to go there, and her key worker is her best friend now.
I’m very happy that we made the right choice, as the nursery is the first and quite important step in a child’s development.

My son has been coming to Woodstock since he was 7 months old and he is now ready for school. We have loved Woodstock and it’s felt like leaving him with family that know him really well. The staff are wonderful and supportive, helping us navigate being first-time parents and even checking in regularly during lockdown to see how we were all doing. I’m going to miss the team so much in September.

My son loved the nursery. During the settling period, the staff made him so comfortable that I was relieved to put him there knowing that he is in good hands. The behaviour of the owner and the staff is so nice and responsive that we did not need to worry about anything. My son had a speech delay due to being bilingual but he coped very beautifully in the nursery and now he is so fluent. The good thing is that the managers end even the owner receive you while arriving and when leaving with the child, a very nice way to be interactive about child. So happy with service.

In the short time my foster son has been attending Woodstock Day Nursery he has been treated with the utmost care. The staff are all welcoming, patient, kind and nurturing coping with every challenge with a smile and are always happy to discuss any issues or worries. The garden is just fabulous and full of fun things to do. We shall miss nursery in September when it’s time to move on to school.

My two daughters attend Woodstock and are both so happy there. Aged 4 and 2, they are absolutely thriving and clearly have such a great time. The staff are amazing and form strong bonds with the children. One thing I love in particular is the fact that (with the exception of the baby room) children of all ages are allowed to mix and play together, which I think is such a fantastic way for them to interact with and learn from one another. My girls are always excited to go and we are so thrilled we chose this nursery. Thank you, Woodstock.

We have been meeting my grandson from nursery for over 2 and a half years.
He has loved the freedom of a large garden, the rooms and the staff. The main meals are cooked on site – and similar to his home foods – nutritious.
I was given access from his parents to see the photographs of him at the nursery online which is wonderful. Everyone is friendly and staff will help with any problem.
The staff were able to support him during Covid as his parents work in the NHS. Good practice and care throughout this time.
    Lots of online information.

My partner actually attended Nestledown back in the year the current manager opened in 1996. He was one of the first full timers! A whole 26 years ago – Sorry.
22 years later, I moved over from the Brighton area to be with him, and applied for a job at Woodstock, not knowing he had any prior link until I signed the contract and his parents pointed out the Nestledown logo they remembered, the manager then confirmed she remembered him and his family well, and then I spent a year working with her before changing paths and then having our first baby in April 2020, at the beginning of the first lockdown.
6 months later, we needed a nursery.
So him being a former Nestledown child and me being an ex-member of staff, it was a no-brainer that our babies would go to Woodstock and what a wonderful decision that was. Our son (February 2022) will also be starting there soon.
We have experience from every angle and cannot praise them enough for their love, care and kindness over the years.

Very friendly staff, my son loves going there and doing all sorts of activities. Every kid can explore their likes individually or to join others. They run loads of events for families to socialise and get together. Plus they have an artist in house!
