November 13, 2020 at 12:00 amI first viewed the nursery when my son was 3-months-old and knew very quickly that this was the place I wanted him to go when I went back to work. The staff are wonderful, so caring, friendly and always take the time to talk and update you on how your child is doing. My son loves it here, and it’s amazing how much he has come on and learned since he went back fulltime after lockdown. I highly recommend sending your child here.

November 13, 2020 at 12:00 amThe nursery is wonderful, colourful and full of delight. The staff members at the nursery are all very lovely. They are patient and caring towards my son who always has a wonderful time and gets excited about seeing the staff members in his room. They are very accommodating of his diet restrictions and skin condition. They take the time to update me on my son’s behaviour, activities through the day and his accomplishments. The manager and office staff are friendly and willing to help in any way they can. Overall, it is a fantastic setting with wonderful staff members.

November 13, 2020 at 12:00 amMy daughter started in the pre-school room in September, it was an anxious time for her and for me. The ladies in Spitfire made us feel so welcome at the settling in sessions that when it came to the first day, she was happy to leave me, and I felt happy knowing she was in good hands.
She absolutely loves going everyday, she adores one lady and all the staff. I couldn’t have asked for a better place for her to start her school journey!

November 13, 2020 at 12:00 amWe have had both of our children at Spring RAF Benson, our eldest, who is now in reception, absolutely loved going to the pre-school room, which I think she secretly misses!
Our son started in the ‘middle’ room from age 2; he is very quiet and shy, but he has come on leaps and bounds with the attentive care and attention the lovely staff provide. Seeing him be close with other adults that aren’t family members is absolutely amazing. We couldn’t ask for a better setting or such wonderful staff for our children to have gotten a start to their school years. We will miss them all very much.

November 16, 2020 at 12:00 amSpring is a fantastic nursery, all of the staff (From management, chefs and key workers) make an effort to form relationships with parents and children which is lovely. My son adores his key worker and all of the other staff that looks after him as they are extremely patient and caring with him. I am kept well informed about his day and his progression and love to see how excited he is to tell me all about what he’s been up to at the end of the day. I highly recommend Spring Nursery at RAF Benson, the staff and facilities are great and we feel lucky to have them as our local nursery.

November 16, 2020 at 12:00 amMy 3-year-old son started in September, and I am so pleased with how well he has come on. He didn’t want to go, to begin with, and it was a real struggle getting him there but now he can’t get enough of it and would happily go on weekends if it was open! He always comes out so happy telling me who he has been playing with and what he’s been up to and never stops singing! When he started I was worried about him having lunch there as he can be fussy and was rather shocked to hear he had two helpings of fish pie one week! I’m looking forward to seeing how my little one progresses over the next year.

November 16, 2020 at 12:00 amI have recently changed my child from another nursery to Spring Nursery, initially for ease but now I am so happy with the move, I wish I’d started him here from the beginning. The ladies that look after him in spitfires are so nice and I feel so comfortable on drop off that he is going to have another great day with them. They really take time to get to know each of their little personalities and on pick up, we get a lovely handover and little tales of their day. The app that they use to let us know about their day, their developmental and wow moments really cheers me up. We can see everything they’ve eaten and I enjoy showing my son the photos they’ve uploaded from the day so he can tell me more about it. He has nothing but good things to say when he comes home. He has come on leaps and bounds, his confidence has greatly increased since attending this nursery, I believe strongly this is to do with the staff looking after him. Thank you for caring for them like you do.

November 16, 2020 at 12:00 amMy daughter who has special needs started Spring Nursery in September 2020. She was really excited to go to school until she was off ill for some time. On her return, it was extremely difficult to get her settled back in, and this was heartbreaking for us. The Manager got involved and contacted the relevant people and sorted out a care plan for our little one, including a folder with pictures and names of all the staff that would normally involve in her care. I would say this partly helped our daughter together with how the staff look after her in which we are very happy, as our little one has been so excited to go to school now. I would definitely recommend this nursery setting to RAF Benson and other families.

The staff are exceptional with very good communication with the families to ensure we know what she’s been up to. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

She partakes in lots of activities and always look forward to going to Springs.

July 13, 2022 at 12:00 amSpring Benson has been fabulous with all three of our sons. Our youngest in explorers have gained confidence and capability and loves going into the nursery. Our eldest two who attend the out-of-school clubs both have a great time and are always excited to attend. The staff are welcoming, caring and very helpful. It really is a friendly environment where children and staff appear to thrive. Thank you to all the team.

April 24, 2023 at 12:00 amThe most amazing place for my little boy to go. This is the first nursery he’s gone to and our first baby. From the minute I have been in contact with Springs they have put my mind at ease. My little one loves going and has developed more than I could ever imagine!

April 24, 2023 at 12:00 amMy children have loved Spring. We’ve used it for both out of school club and holiday club. Food is nutritious and the children like it. The staff are really friendly and clearly enjoy being around children. Management are really helpful and appreciate that life changes quickly in the military!

April 24, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter loves going to nursery, she is very reserved but since going has really warmed up. She’s learned so much and we get lots of regular updates on her progress.
She has made lots of friends and has begun saying so many new words. She also comes home with different sign language actions to show me what she is after.

Her speech has come on so much in such a short space of time. My child loves being there and I know she is really well cared for. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

April 26, 2023 at 12:00 amOur son has attended Spring RAF Benson for the past 6 months. In that time we have seen him flourish both mentally and physically due to the wonderful staff who look after him.
Our son has additional hearing needs and the team have been so positive and caring, learning how to use his aids and making adjustments to the playroom to make things easier for him. The team have gone above and beyond in making sure we all feel comfortable.
We receive regular updates on our sons’ development and general observations that have been made and how they will be encouraged over the coming weeks. The day is filled with fun games and activities designed to develop and expand minds.
A lovely nursery.
