It’s hard leaving your kid at any point but especially during these difficult times where my baby had never been left with anyone before attending the YMCA. Our very first visit to the childcare centre was so welcoming and we were asked lots about my kid’s routines, preferences so during the day where possible, they could keep the same routine. After only a few sessions, my kid settled into the nest and the lovely team kept me fully up to date with how he was settling in. He absolutely loves attending childcare centre and gets very excited when I mention the nest. He has formed lovely relationships with team and kids. Everyone at the YMCA is so kid-centred and I really can’t suggest them enough. I am thankful everyday knowing my kid feels cheerful, secure and excited to be at YMCA. I really can’t suggest the YMCA childcare centre enough.

He settled in right away and sometimes it’s hard to get him to leave! All of the team have been incredible, they are welcoming and approachable and build such strong relationships with the kids. It’s also nice to see male members of team. They have helped him immensely with his speech and I adore that my son gets a wide variety of meals and eats so much better than he does at home. I would suggest this childcare centre to anyone! Our son has attended YMCA Eastleigh for the past year and a half, he started in the baby room and is currently in toddlers.

They made me sense at ease instantly and we have formed remarkable relationships with them over the past two years. They really care about the welfare of our daughter and she loves going there. I adore all of the creative things that she makes and brings home, especially for special occasions such as Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day etc.
If ever there have ever been issues, the team are really great at talking to us and talking through what they can do to help assistance or manage what has happened. They have also been fantastic at supporting us when we have had personal problems and therefore last-minute childcare needs.
We sense very connected to the team at the childcare centre and our daughter’s adore for it speaks for itself. We are grateful for everything they do. Our daughter has been at this childcare centre from six months, I was initially nervous about putting her into childcare centre but the team here were so welcoming and supportive.

He settled in straight away, so I was confident about leaving him and knew he would be well cared for. The team are very kid-centred and really understand him. He really enjoys childcare centre and his skills have really developed since attending. They give him lots of opportunities to learn new skills with a variety of activities. They encourage independence while supporting him. There is consistently a range of foods to choose from to suit most kids. They are also great at keeping us updated with his day. The manager is particularly great at calling me following any accidents my son has had, there are many and they follow protocols. Our son has been attending YMCA Eastleigh for the past five months, since he was eleven months old, during the lockdown.

The team are outstanding and my little boy is excited every day I tell him it’s a childcare centre day. He’s got a few great friends there now, who he talks about every day. I am really pleased with the YMCA Eastleigh childcare centre.

My son has progressed so much since changing to this childcare centre just over a year ago. The team are outstanding, and the updates is exceptional. My son is so excited to see everyone each day he attends. We couldn’t be happier with the childcare centre.

He started in the baby room and it was such a excellent journey and start to our first-ever childcare centre journey. The care and empathy were to such a high standard. He is now in the toddler room and has such a lovely bond with his key worker. He often speaks of him at home and the other educators. He consistently comes home looking like he had a excellent time! My only flaws in this setting are, we never see the manager, I understand the drop-off and pick-ups are outside but it would be nice to make contact with the manager once in a while. And the other is, the menu really lacks quality and my kid often will come home hungry. Other than this, we are really cheerful with this setting and look forward to seeing our son grow throughout his childcare centre journey. My son has been attending the childcare centre since the summer of last year.
