Bright Horizons Hedge End Day Nursery and Preschool

My eldest was like a duck to water and has consistently been so incredibly settled and cheerful here. Everyone is so compassionate and accommodating. Shout out to a team member who settled my first!
My second struggled more, but the team at Bright Horizons have been so patient, her key worker has essentially adopted her and is like her childcare centre mum. So now, my youngest is excited to go and I get the happiest kids at the end of the day.
The updates has improved loads over the last six months so I now have such a clear picture of their journey the days they go.
Recently had our first feedback meeting about their milestones and areas currently being worked on. Gave me an opportunity to give feedback and things I’m trying to improve.
They have been supportive with changing dietary restrictions.
When my kids leave will be a really sad day. Cannot suggest enough! Both my girls have been here since my return to work a year and six months respectively.

My daughter has thrived at the childcare centre. Team are consistently welcoming and it’s excellent to see what she’s doing through tapestry. Adore that she’s taken out for walks around the local area and that she is able to spend lots of time in the garden which is her favourite activity. Very cheerful and pleased with Bright Horizons Hedge End.

The team are lovely and really help make a excellent day for the little ones. The new app is a excellent feature too as it’s a lot more user-welcoming than the old Tapestry app. Both of our kids have attended this Childcare centre and really enjoyed it.

They are flexible to my son’s needs. The current manager is outstanding, very supportive and responsive to messages/contact. The key workers in the baby room are lovely, my son loves them and loves going to childcare centre. We couldn’t be happier with Bright Horizons Hedge End Day Childcare centre and Preschool the team are very attentive and supportive.

The team are remarkable with supporting our kid especially with ensuring his safeguarding due to having allergies.
The team are tenured which really helps build our kid’s trust and self‑assurance, which in return assists with his discovering and development. We are very cheerful with how our kid is progressing with Bright Horizons Hedge End.

They are very great with the kids, and the number ratio per team is manageable, where your kid is taken care of and able to form close affectionate bonds. It’s secure and secure. My kid adapted quickly and they made the transition easy by settling into sessions. It’s a shame they do not offer much flexibility but have options of half-day, full-day, weekly, half weekly enrolment for structure and stability for the kids. The childcare centre team are understanding and compassionate.

He is our first baby so we weren’t sure what to expect but the team were outstanding guiding us through the process and making sure we were comfortable and cheerful with lots of settling in days. The childcare centre use an app which is consistently updated throughout the day with eating, sleeping, activities and nappy changing information which is really reassuring to check during the day and I sense he is really secure and cared for. I sense the childcare centre have excellent safeguarding standards and management are consistently quick to update parents via the app when needed. The kids’s food is prepared fresh on site so he consistently has a variety of healthy things to eat during the day and they take them outside to playtime as much as possible so they get lots of fresh air and exercise. My son’s self‑assurance and social skills have gone from strength to strength since starting and we are looking forward to the next exciting phase moving up to Toddlers Room! Our son has been attending in Babies Room for 6 months now.

She loves going to (big girl school) she has so much enjoyable and we hear so many lovely stories!
Her behaviour has improved dramatically in such a short space of time and the updates daily is excellent.
Fantastic preschool, fantastic team and a lovely setting! My daughter started preschool in January and I can not praise the team enough.

Our daughter has been very cheerful there from day one. All members of team are extremely expert and welcoming. But my special thanks to two members of team. They are making my daughter sense welcome and comfortable every single day. I have never seen her upset or disappointed after school. They make her smile and learn new stuff through playing.

Safeguarding kids within their care in accordance to Bright Horizons safeguarding policy. What I find most fascinating is that these standards have been upheld and maintained throughout the current pandemic, which explicitly shows their commitment and enthusiasm to care for each kid from babies to kindergarten safely who are in their care. Team have been thorough in their stringent infection control policy and practice hand hygiene; not only with the kids; but with parents too, as hand sanitizer is consistently at the entrance door. After a discussion with the manager, I was very reassured to hear that one of the childcare centre’s ethos during these perilous times is to ‘Be Compassionate’ this is something that we all need to practice as we face this together as a community. On a final note, thank you for taking the time to make the gingerbread tree decorations and Christmas card photo! All team at the childcare centre are welcoming, polite, compassionate attentive individuals who act professionally at all times.
