September 22, 2021 at 12:00 amThe staff, the management are all amazing. Very caring, very thoughtful. My baby girl loves going to nursery, she holds out her hands to them which is a lot. I feel very comfortable leaving her in their care. She has come such a long way since starting nursery, so much I added her an extra day to learn and socialise. I can really see the benefits and I have Woodberry Day Nursery (Fawley) Ltd to thank. Thank you.

November 2, 2021 at 12:00 amI was so worried about sending my one-year-old daughter to a nursery as I was going back to work, I wouldn’t change it now for the world. My daughter has shown so much excitement and passion for this nursery and has learnt so much! Would 100% recommend.

November 8, 2021 at 12:00 amWe moved to the area, my little boy who was 3 when he joined and now at school was very established in a previous nursery. I was worried he would not transfer easily but he did and loved Woodberry Day Nursery. He will still talk to his little sister, who is currently there, about the ‘teachers’ as he calls everyone. My little girl also loves Woodberry and will walk in holding hands with the girls there. This is quite a good sign as she generally will not go to anyone unless it’s family! Even if on days she may go in sad she comes out beaming and chatty and laughing. The new manager is wonderful and always answers questions and helps. I love seeing them all playing in the garden when I come to collect her, I feel happy sending her there. I cannot thank them enough.

January 24, 2022 at 12:00 amOur little boy joined Woodberry in August last year. He was nervous and took a while to settle but the staff in the Under 2’s room have been fantastic throughout, helping him settle and gain confidence. He is now thriving and loving his 3 days a week which are always full of engaging new activities as well as reading, singing and outdoor play. The meals provided are also fantastic, such a broad variety of healthy interesting foods and he loves it.
His key worker and room lead is wonderful and has been such a support to him and us, as has the Nursery Manager and the Under 2’s room staff. We would recommend Woodberry to anyone and are so pleased we chose the setting for our little boy.

March 1, 2022 at 12:00 amAn absolutely incredible nursery. All the staff are so welcoming and nurturing. They all know our son – even those not in his room. All the staff have taken so much care with making sure he has settled in smoothly following our move from America and getting to know us as a family.
I recommend Fawley nursery to everyone! I was really nervous about sending my son to nursery but the changes and developments I’ve seen in him since he started attending are just phenomenal.

March 1, 2022 at 12:00 amWe have just placed our daughter at Woodberry (Fawley), she was just over 8-months-old when she joined and has never been left with anyone other than us her parents, so understandably we were nervous to know how she would cope, eating, sleeping etc but the team in the under twos room have helped her settle in so well, taking her cues and making sure she sleeps when she needs it, which has amazed us as we thought she would never settle especially so quickly. Everyone is so friendly and we feel like we can ask anything. The updates on the app are brilliant. We are looking forward to our daughter having lots of fun as she spends more time at Woodberry and are really pleased we chose this setting.

What I appreciate the most is a very quick communication and response time whenever I have a question either via an e-mail or phone.

March 8, 2022 at 12:00 amWe have been using Woodberry, Fawley, for about two years now and have always found the level of care to be amazing. Even checking in on parents and working together from home life to nursery. The outside space is incredible, the children have so much room to run around and free flow! All meals are healthy and nutritious and even while in the pandemic they never let standards slip.

March 15, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son has always gone into Woodberry so happy and excited about the activities they may be doing that day. The staff are always so friendly and even know my son’s new baby sister’s name – even though she doesn’t attend nursery yet! The food provided is varied and nutritional – great for providing energy for running around the large outdoor space. I have no doubt that my son is well looked after while he is at nursery.

March 17, 2022 at 12:00 amMy granddaughter loves attending nursery (school as she calls it) every morning she asks “school yeah?” She gets so excited when we turn into the car park and she sees the nursey. My granddaughter happily goes into the nursery as soon as one of you open the door, which tells us she is very happy and confident with all the staff and her surroundings.

March 18, 2022 at 12:00 amI am over the moon with Woodberry nursery and I’m really glad that I chose to send my son there when he was just over two years old. The staff are all absolutely lovely and so friendly and the manager always goes above and beyond to help whenever I have a query. My son always enjoys going and looks forward to it and has made so many lovely little friends. The equipment and resources that they have there are very impressive and the garden is huge and ideal for taking part in lots of fun activities that I’m always hearing about at pick up time. I really couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

April 5, 2022 at 12:00 amI wasn’t happy with my daughter’s previous nursery and decided last October to move her. It was a tricky time due to the pandemic and not being able to go into the nurseries, but when restrictions started to lift we thought we would look around.
Woodberry was the first out of three we were going to look at that day and as soon as we walked through the gates we knew it was going to be perfect for our daughter.
Inside, the baby room is open and spacious – full of light and fresh air. Perfect setting.
The girls are polite and so easy to communicate with, if you need to know anything they are always quick to respond with an answer. The app they use is fantastic! Whilst at work I receive updates on how my daughter is getting on which is a great comfort.
They teach sign which has been so lovely to be able to communicate with my daughter. Her speech and understanding are incredible and she is not yet 2!
Couldn’t recommend enough.

She has grown as a person and spends so much time talking about her day, friends and the staff. She loves the meals every day and enjoys making us guess about the different food she has had that day.

Big thank you to the team for looking after us always. Such a shame the manager is leaving.

She enjoys all the activities. I can see what she had done online including if she has eaten at mealtimes.
The staff are very friendly and caring.

August 3, 2023 at 12:00 amNot bad but not great. The standards definitely dropped since under new ownership. My child used to love going to nursery but now he is much more hesitant as he is saying is not as much fun. He also eats less when there as the menu is not as exciting as it used to be for him.
The place itself seems somehow more messy and unloved. Staff are attentive and friendly, but the turnover is quite high. As a result, makes it harder for children to develop a bond and trust and staff do not always have sufficient time to truly get to know a child. As a parent, I’m finding communication regarding staff changes challenging. Photos are rarely updated and names are mentioned mostly in passing at pick-up times. That said, most of the staff are lovely and my child speaks very fondly about a few of them.

August 15, 2023 at 12:00 amBoth of our children have been attending this setting (eldest from June 2020 and youngest from January 2023). We have experienced a number of staff transitions and two ownership changes. Despite those taking place, there has been great continuity of care provided throughout with a couple of personnel that have been there many years, including the current nursery manager. There’s evidence of adaptability and flexibility around each child’s needs and preferences (e.g. sleep timings, skin care, dietary restrictions, confidence building). The facilities are of good standard with plenty of outdoor space and some flexible indoor options, including a climbing frame room and a sensory room alongside the main rooms split by age group. Daily activities are ample for each room and updates are offered to parents on pick-up and periodically observations are posted via the app. Both of our children do appear to enjoy nursery food. The costs have risen over time, but not inconsistent with alternatives.
