I’m grateful for their hours as well. Please keep on the fantastic job that you ladies do. It’s remarkable seeing my son get excited about going to nursery here. As a single parent, I deeply appreciate the team being pleasant and nurturing, and the Manager of Little Bears Day Nursery truly cares about the kids and works with the parents. The educators truly make an effort to engage the little ones and develop them in a extremely individualised way. I adore this place and so does my youngster. The facility is well thought of, rooms separated to keep the ages apart but structured so that the educators are able to help each other out. Incredible team with so much heart and nurturing mindset. The management is truly committed to providing a secure, enjoyable, and loving setting and I am extremely thankful to Little Bears Day Nursery and the whole team there. My son is content and that makes me a content parent. My son had been going here for three and a half years plus and I couldn’t ask for a better nursery.

The team were super approachable and down to earth from the outset, eliminating separation anxiety. Our son would speak of the nursery team so fondly at home‑like that even our much younger son, who had never met them, started speaking of them. They went out of their way to stay in touch and cultivate a relationship with us via Tapestry and phone consultations. This filled us with confidence, compared with pre-arranged open days elsewhere, where you never know whether what you encounter is a true reflection of their every day routine. It was clear that they appreciate every youngster as an individual. When we had any questions, the team were always accessible, even in complicated Covid times. When we phoned to view the nursery, we were invited to drop in there and then. The system changed while our son was there, but to begin with, they had themed weeks of activities. Even within these, there was always still scope for our son’s individual interests. Warm‑hearted, approachable, enjoyable and unpretentious.

It is a truly approachable setting and they always take the time to tell us about their day. I would absolutely highly recommend to other parents! We were completely impressed with the viewing as each team member took an active interest in our daughter and interacted with her from that first time. The team were so supportive with easing my first-time parent nerves and our daughter settled beautifully. We found Little Bears Day Nursery by recommendation after moving to the area with our first youngster. One of the fantastic things is that all of the kids eat breakfast and tea together. This has meant there has not been any disruption when the kids move to the next room as they already know the team and kids. The team go out of their way to make sure the kids are supported. The nursery is a home‑like away from home‑like and our daughter has grown substantially in confidence and ability. Our daughter calls it “nursery home‑like” and we have only ever felt comfortable with her being there.

They use tapestry to upload photos and give in-depth information about your youngster’s growth using the early years foundation stage curriculum. My youngster truly enjoyed almost four years spent at Little Bears. They have a delightful garden (recently re-done) where the kids can playtime and do gardening as well as lots of indoor activities (including messy playtime) and games for the kids. They also have walks that the parents can go along to, as well as French lessons and music/dancing and the occasional petting zoo which our youngster adored. We have only fond memories of the time our youngster spent there (as does our youngster who always came home‑like content) and we will all miss the team. The team truly bond with the kids and look after them truly well. The team are easy to talk to and put us and our youngster at ease from day one, keeping us informed of what our youngster had done and eaten (lots of nutritious food) each day.

The team have been phenomenal, especially through lockdown. Again, the team were inviting, patient, calm and extremely professional in how they interact with both families and kids. We’ve laughed together, the updates is fantastic and I’m gutted to be leaving as a parent! The nursery itself is more such as a home‑like as it’s cosy, not to overwhelming and has a delightful garden and outside area that they use all year round. I moved to the area 6 years ago and I had no idea about childcare or the best nurseries in the area. I was welcomed by all team and the kids were delightful; playing and engaging with activities around them. My youngest has definitely had the best experience for her early years as she has grown and developed so much! I visited Little Bears with my eldest youngster (3 at the time) and I knew straight away this was the right place. My eldest thrived there so it seemed to make sense to send my youngest, who has just finished there to start centre this September.

I cannot highly recommend this nursery enough. My kids adored the activities such as French class and toddler time. Little Bears is a fabulous nursery where both my kids have been so content. The team go above and beyond to look after each youngster personally and it’s clear the team genuinely caregiving about each youngster. They also spend as much time as you such as telling you about your youngster’s day and their progress, so you never feel rushed.
