February 9, 2017 at 12:00 amThree of my four children have attended Holme Park at some point in their childhood and I am just about to register my fourth! That should say it all really, I shall elaborate a bit. There is a real feeling of family there, but with a conscientious and professional approach to child development. I have never in the seven years have had dealings with them felt under serviced or less important than any of their other families.
The facilities are great – my only suggestion for improvement would be for a separate dining room, but everything else is fabulous and the setting is gorgeous. A great garden where you can tell the children have hours of fun. The pre-school offering is great too and the children leave totally prepared for “big school”.
I love Monkey Puzzle / Holme Park. It’s great.

April 17, 2018 at 12:00 amMy son has been at this nursery since 10 Months old and is just about to “graduate” from preschool this year. He has absolutely thrived since starting at the nursery.
The staff are skilled in knowing how to engage the children in their play and learning and the learning journeys are so personal to your child included little comments and lots of photos. The communication with parents is excellent at the end of each day and also additional parents evenings.
Lots of outside space and equipment to encourage physical development, there has been some investment since they have changed hands into busy bees.
The staff are absolutely amazing, our sons both love going to nursery and it is down to the staff’s hard work and dedication to their job. They make the environment engaging each and every day for all the children. Their zest for their job is evident – they love it and we do too!
You won’t regret it – go and see the nursery in action.

July 6, 2018 at 12:00 amOur son absolutely loves his time at the nursery, he attends full time and I feel so comfortable with the care that he receives at the nursery. Providing for our choice of nappy, accommodating our requests and allowing him to develop via exploration and a variety of activities. I have no hesitation in recommending the nursery and actively do so on local social media groups.

July 6, 2018 at 12:00 amCaring and passionate staff ensure the children are safe, well cared for and happy. Throughout the 3 years my daughter has been attending Holme Park, she has enjoyed a vast array of activities, all carefully chosen to meet the appropriate curriculum. Her progress has been tracked consistently, with staff able to discuss her strengths and areas for development clearly and with a good understanding of my child.
Meals are cooked on site and are carefully balanced to ensure a broad variety and healthy mix of tastes. Children are supported to try new foods and to develop age-appropriate table manners and independence. The staff know the children well and support parents’ wishes regarding food.
I have already booked a place for our second child and look forward to watching her grow and develop under the guidance and care of the wonderful staff at Holme Park!

July 6, 2018 at 12:00 amHolme Park is a lovely nursery that both our boys have attended. The staff are amazing and recently went hugely beyond anything they should have been expected to do after a car crash stopped me getting to there to fetch my son. Being relatively small the Nursery has a caring, family feel as well as a great setting, with fun spaces indoors and outdoors.

July 12, 2018 at 12:00 amOur first son started here in 2011 and our second has been there since 2015. The nursery staff are brilliant; caring, dedicated, and fully committed to making the kids happy and giving parents the confidence that their kids are safe and being well looked after.
There is lots of outside space which is brilliant.
The nursery is quite small which gives it a nice intimate feeling.
The staff have done really well to remain focused on the care of the kids through the two recent takeovers of the nursery by larger parent companies. Despite that the nursery hasn’t changed at all. Same staff, same great feeling.

July 24, 2018 at 12:00 amI’m so lucky that both my children have been through Holme Park nursery. The staff are amazing! They build great relationships with the children and my two have always come home happy, with full tummies and excited to share all that they have been up to during the day. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

December 10, 2018 at 12:00 amMy son started at Holme Park in September at 9 months of age, right from the first meeting we knew this was the nursery we wanted him to go too. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and answered all of our questions brilliantly which made this hard decision a lot easier. The nursery has a lovely homely feeling and the children are always happy. My son has a beaming smile as soon as we walk in the nursery and has a great relationship with the staff.
I would highly recommend this nursery but don’t take my word for it, go and see for yourself.

March 25, 2019 at 12:00 amMy two sons (3 years and 10 months) attend Holme Park Day Nursery and I can’t speak highly enough about them. It’s a smaller nursery which I prefer compared to bigger local nurseries, so I think there is more time for individuals, from staff and small ones don’t risk getting lost and missing out. Also, being smaller, if you want to add days or move kids days around, they are flexible enough to accommodate. The outside space is great (recently upgraded with new small houses to play in) and I appreciate the newsletter they send out and find the staff very friendly.

August 5, 2019 at 12:00 amMy son has been going to Holme Park since the start of 2016 and he has now graduated from here.
His learning journey has been really interesting and challenging. Very soon into his entry, nursery identified his differences compared to his peers and his behavioural difference and guided us on how to deal with it all.
I really appreciate how the nursery has supported him over the last 3 years in his additional needs. Some difficult conversations in those 3 years but through all that, his improvement was always at the forefront.
Very grateful to his first teacher and then all the staff that helped him in preschool a very special thank you to two of his teachers who were simply fantastic and without them we definitely would have been lost.
Other things to mention would have to be a good play area, great food, very transparent in their dealings, the setting manager is efficient.
It’s absolute value for money and if you didn’t figure out till now, I would defiantly recommend it.

October 21, 2020 at 12:00 amMy son moved to Holme Park in the summer of 2019 following some troubles at another nursery (not part of this nursery group). We were anxious about how things would go due to our experiences at the other nursery, but the staff at Holme Park blew us away. They took care and time to get to know my son. They offered us reassurance with his development, celebrating his strengths and being proactive in looking at ways to help his challenges.
The nursery is in a beautiful setting, and all the children seem to love the facilities, especially the large gardens – one for each age group.
I felt reassured and confident about my son returning to nursery following COVID shutdown, as their safety measures are clear and very thorough.
The staff here I have found go above and beyond with my son and the other children. They keep learning varied and interesting engaging my son’s interest when he may lose focus.

November 6, 2020 at 12:00 amOur two kids love it there. The staff are great with the children. The outdoor space and facilities are wonderful. Interesting menus as well with good variety.
We are happy with the progress and development of our two. Both had joined right from the baby group.

May 26, 2021 at 12:00 amI can’t recommend this nursery more highly! My son attended from September 2020- May 2021 and the only reason he doesn’t still attend is because we moved too far away! My son loved his time here- first in the baby room and moving up to the toddler room. He made brilliant connections and relationships with all members of the team, not just his key worker or those in his room. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, he would run in and not give me a second glance! He was always happy and tired after a fun filled day here. He also came along leaps and bounds with his speech development and confidence. I would sometimes contact them with very little notice if I needed to put him in for an extra session and they always said yes, it was never too much trouble. Wish we could still send him here! We miss the nursery and team, loads!

May 26, 2021 at 12:00 amThe main reason for choosing this nursery was the great, green space outside comparing to other nurseries. Especially as it is nested in an enormous field, away from main traffic. I also was very happy with the size of the nursery, it is really like a big family. Everybody is so kind, from the minute we set foot in it, greeting us with a big smile every morning.
They offer delicious food for the children and I like that they also put some solid food on the plate, too like bread, bagel, teacake etc. When my son was in pre-school, in a different one, he was a really picky eater. He ate no fruits or vegetables at all. Unfortunately, that nursery did not offer anything else on the side, so he either ate the fruits and veggies (which he did not) or just being left with empty tummy for the day.
I am really happy that we found Holme Park and we will be sad to say goodbye soon when my daughter will start school.

November 4, 2021 at 12:00 amI would definitely recommend Holme Park Day Nursery, particularly after bad experiences in other local bigger nurseries. With smaller classes and more permanent staff there is not constant change of people so they all build good relationships with the children and there is a close knit feel. Don’t be put off by the slightly tired exterior of the building, the staff and care are great and there is investment coming from the central group to freshen it up and fix the bumpy car park. My 2 and 3 year olds both come and both love it. The elder had been anxious to go to both previous nurseries and within days was keen to come back for more and began asking to go more often. Our youngest had never been away from us for a day and has loved it from day 1. Good healthy menu, an app for useful regular updates and plenty of activities and outside time plus always an open ear for conversation.
My only wish would be for more extra curricular activities in the preschool room.

November 17, 2021 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been attending Holme Park Day Nursery now for 2 years and right from the settling in days at the start she has been very happy there. Staff and children all seem happy and there is a real closeness about the nursery. Staff are wonderfully supportive, caring, nurturing and kind. Our daughter raves about her teachers and she can’t wait to return after the weekends away! Again the staff all seem to care about the children and their individual learning needs and developments which as parents, we are kept up to date with. Admin have been amazing to us as we have to organise our nursery days in advance due to shift work. Always supportive and communicate really well. The catering is also so wonderful. Fresh food made in house by a fab cook. Thank you.

November 30, 2021 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been attending Busy Bees since Feb 2021 and absolutely loves it! It is amazing to see how she is growing and developing and gaining in confidence since she’s joined. The staff are wonderful and very caring. My daughter is always looking for cuddles and they are happy to oblige! It makes such a difference knowing she is well cared for when she isn’t at home and enjoys it so much she talks about the staff and her friends at home.

February 7, 2022 at 12:00 amGood nursery, small team that knows all the kids. You can tell they care.
Our child is very happy there. They open earlier and stay open later than most other nurseries.

May 24, 2023 at 12:00 amMy little one has been attending Treetops Holme Park full-time for 15 months and has been so happy there. She is thriving here and is a confident girl. They encourage her, she’s safe there and loves going in. They do so many activities with them and you get photos and updates on the app (which makes my day while I’m at work). All the staff are also very friendly and they know the children well. I have recommended this nursery to two other families and their little ones love it there too. I get peace of mind knowing she’s happy and that she’s well looked after!

June 8, 2023 at 12:00 amThe staff at Busy Bees create such a happy environment for the children. Our son very much enjoys going to nursery and we are confident he is safe and happy at Busy Bees. The nursery is a great size whereby it is not too large and noisy, however, there are plenty of children there so it is still very sociable.
