One of the things we are really impressed with is how important dates and events are celebrated in the childcare centre that encourages diversity and inclusion, as same-sex parents this is so reassuring to see and it’s fantastic that our young lad understands that families come in many varieties. We absolutely treasure Busy Bees nursery setting in Woodley. We were so impressed with the precautions and measures the childcare centre took to keep youngsters protected. We are really impressed with the wide range of activities that are set up daily with our child’s interests, which he not only enjoys immensely but also encourages discovering. We especially enjoy seeing the daily updates and observations of our young lad on the app and how thrilled he is. Our young lad has flourished since joining, his confidence has grown immeasurably alongside his speaking, fine motor competences, gross motor competences and his ability to recognise numbers, shapes, colours, emotions and many more! Our young lad joined in 2020 and some covid restrictions were still in place.

He is also enjoying a wide variety of food and drink. Thank you, I feel much more at ease leaving him in your attention and it has helped me concentrate and be productive at my work. I can see that he is delighted and cheerful as he gets to absorb and explore new things. The regular assessments that I have received help me to gauge his improvement and his developmental and emotional wellbeing. The whole team in the hedgehog room, as well as the ladies at the front office, have been great with our boy and have helped him get used to his new surroundings. The ParentZone app is fantastic as I can see what he does during the day and the pictures are a bonus.

She is always pleased to go into childcare centre, but on the off days when she has a little wobble or doesn’t want to say goodbye, I am always reassured that the team help her settle. The updates on the app give us a good idea of the structure of their day and what activities they’ve been doing so we can ask questions about her day. the various room teams whom have looked after her have all been fantastic and she has had a clear connection with her key person in the various rooms. Having had a poor period at a Reading based early‑years hub I was nervous when we previously sent our little one to Busy Bees in Woodley back in 2017 -2018, but the team back then reassured us and he had a great time and went off to school with a good period of being in a “class” environment and ready to explore. A notoriously picky eater at home, I always like to read what she eats at Busy Bees! We were sure it would be another great journey for our girl.

The team are fantastic, understanding every child’s different needs and encouraging the youngsters to activities and work together. Excellent setting for my girl to grow and discover.

My little one started at Busy Bees Reading at the age of 9 months and has recently moved from the first room to the second. They provide a wide selection of activities from extremely early on and they take the kids outside whenever the weather allows. When we went through two phases where my boy didn’t get enough sleep, I could discuss this with his key person and they were truly accommodating and made extra effort to make sure he sleeps enough. The food menus are varied and wholesome, and as a result, my boy eats everything – at least in early‑years hub 🙂 This a good childcare centre with a lovely atmosphere and I would strongly suggest it for others. We are extremely delighted with the early‑years hub, it has a extremely cordial, family-feel setting: every member of crew knows my young lad by name, including those working with older kids and even the cooks; the head of finance went to check on him when once – quite out of character – he was crying at drop off, just to let me know he was delighted eating his breakfast 2 min later.

I trust that the early‑years hub personnel will always do their best for each kid and their individual needs. Everybody knows all the kids, and they are treated as individuals, making leaving our little one at early‑years hub a lot easier. These apps are really reassuring for parents! Also, the other app has been great for activity ideas that we can do at home. Our little girl has been at nursery setting for about eight months now, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice of childcare centre. Most importantly, everybody who works at Busy Bees Woodley has a great relationship with the youngsters and works hard to deliver the best for each individual little one. In the previous few months, she has been able to explore her interests and absorb and develop so quickly through sensory activities, art and messy playtime, books and storytelling, and toys and games equipment. The app has been great to continue this progress at home (and vice versa) to further support her progress.

Her advancement has exploded since starting nursery setting and we feel like key workers do a great job in tracking her advancement (in observations) and also coming up with cool sensory activities. We also feel exceptionally informed about her day and every little bump is recorded and communicated to parents. Motor, problem solving and language and literacy abilities are also a key focus. We have nothing but good things to say about Busy Bees and all the personnel. There is a big focus on sensory activities, spending time outdoors. Highly endorse Busy Bees Woodley and the lovely personnel! We feel that she is extremely secure. We appreciate how well you communicate with us parents and our favourite part of the day is receiving updates on the app about what our little one is up to. Even during periods of sickness, extreme heat waves, Covid outbreaks, etc, Busy Bees always worked with us to find alternatives and we never felt like we had just no childcare options.

Every night he will go to bed and say ‘Go see friends tomorrow’, as he is so excited to go to nursery setting full time and interact with others. He eats extremely well and is already discovering how to use the toilet and be more independent in himself. I won’t take full credit for the kind, clever and chatty boy he has become – 100% have the team at Busy Bees to thank. My young lad has been coming to Busy Bees in Woodley for a year now and I am thrilled at his headway. He talks about the ladies at his nursery setting all the time and even the colleagues I’m not familiar with, all seem to know who he is which comforts me, knowing there is a lot of familiarity within the business.

Overall we find Busy Bees Woodley to be a great setting for our young lad. His key workers, along with the other personnel, have supported his growth across the different nursery setting rooms with fun activities and great resources, and we enjoy being kept up to date with information and photos of his day via the app which is easy to use and efficiently updated. Our young lad has thoroughly enjoyed attending Busy Bees Woodley since his start date prior year. We’ve been really impressed with the level of correspondence and cordial manner of the crew there, and are assured that this is a protected and delighted space for him.

My little one is now in the 3-5 class and I am particularly impressed with the work and activities which have been on offer for the youngsters to encourage their advancement (familiarity with clocks and fun science experiments – building volcanoes and drawing pictures, building lava lamps and talking about them). My little one often has so much to say when I collect her from early‑years hub. The manager also takes parents suggestions on board (where possible) when holding reviews which provides great reassurance. When my boy (now aged six) used to enrol at Busy Bees they identified that he was shy as an area of advancement and boosted his confidence by introducing him to a talk time bag. The manager is proactively involved in all the rooms by holding regular reviews to improve each room. All personnel make my girl feel welcome in the early‑years hub and any problems/concerns have been resolved in a professional manner. This encouraged other little ones to talk to him when he was too shy to.

All the crew engage with him in such a caring manner and show a genuine interest in him. Even when we are at home he will talk about the team and his little friends to us. They always find new, engaging and imaginative ideas for the little ones to do and well thought out hand/footprint pictures and cards for different events. It is also great that the advancement review is now electronic as this means we can save a copy and take with us to growth meetings or to share with family. He continues to flourish every day, the variety and number of different activities that the personnel do with them is fantastic. If we see team out and about at weekends they will always stop and say hello which is lovely. Our boy has been at Busy Bees Woodley since December 2015 and treasures it! We enjoy the use of ParentZone to allow us an insight into his day, especially the pictures and videos that are put up throughout the day which we can then share with our family.

It gives a detailed breakdown of his day including what he eats, activities he takes part in, updates on his progress and photos which really helps us continue with this at home. He’s only recently moved to full time. They always take the time out to reassure, and during Covid and all the concerns most parents have, they dealt with it amazingly and we were never left worried or nervous about our boy attending. Everyone from his key workers to the managers and literally all personnel we come across are just incredible at what they do. We’re so thrilled we chose Busy Bees and would strongly endorse it! The Parentzone app is absolutely brilliant. My little one has been attending Busy Bees in Woodley for just over a year now (started at around 18months, delay due to lockdown). He initially started off for 1 day a week which we quickly increased to two days as he settled in well and developed so quickly. I can only put this down to the remarkable crew and how caring, attentive, and nurturing they are.

The team are attentive to all of his needs and have really taken the time to get to know him. From the moment you enter the childcare centre, you are greeted by the wonderful administrator and manager whose memories of every child’s name are exceptional. They are all-round superstars. The team at Busy Bees are nothing short of incredible. Our little boy has thrived since he has started and absolutely adores going to early‑years hub. Every member of team from every room are wonderfully cordial and welcoming.

His speech/communication and social skills are all improving after each visit, I genuinely believe that this down to activities he takes part in at busy bees. Overall- We are overwhelmed with the kindness and professionalism of the crew, our kid is developing and having a great time. We wholeheartedly advocate Busy Bees. Location- Very convenient to get to, plenty of parking and other shops nearby. Throughout the day team upload images and key information such as meals and activities to their app, from the photos we can see that he’s having a great time, this gives us reassurance when we are working that he’s being looked after. Child’s progress- We are noticing that our little one is developing really quickly. Staff are extremely cordial and most importantly, they genuinely take an interest in my kid as an individual. Rather than getting frustrated with problems, he is spending more time working out why something isn’t working.

My eldest boy also went to this childcare centre and has fond memories of his time here. When I have had behaviour problems with my little one they have helped and we have worked together to help resolve things. He is extremely thrilled there and eats better at the early‑years hub than at home. I always find crew to be honest and caring about my kid.

The childcare centre has made me feel exceptionally at ease in leaving my little one in their attention. The early‑years hub is spotless, vibrant, delighted and lovely place for kids of all young ages. I would strongly endorse Busy Bees Woodley to friends and family. My little one seems to have settled in well and the childcare centre has made me feel I call at any time to check in.
