Green Park Day Nursery (Reading)

The attention given to each youngster is based on their individual needs. My young lad has been at Green Park Day nursery setting for the past 3 years and he has cherished it. I have referred all my friends to the childcare centre as I knew their youngsters would cherish it just as much as my little one. The crew are kind and professional.

They update me daily about how she is absorbing and what we can do to help. Particularly her keyworker and room instructors, they are the best. My little one flourishes every day, teaching me role-playing ideas and how to make sounds of the letters and telling me all about her excellent first‑rate educators and all her friends. My little one has been seriously poorly over Christmas and the management and whole early‑years hub have supported us both amazingly, thank you for helping her make such a speedy recovery with all your treasure and guidance. We would never think of any other nursery setting and suggest you guys to everyone.

His sister also went to over nine years ago and the standard has been the same for all those years. All the team are so kind, make me and my little one feel at ease and my boy is thriving with the help of everyone there. I enthusiastically suggest this nursery setting for anyone and especially anyone nervous about placing their youngster in a childcare centre setting for the first time. My little one joins Green Park Day Nursery (Reading) and has been attending since he was one year old, he is now three. Also for a childcare centre that does constant messy activities for the little ones, it’s always kept so tidy and hygienic!

Great time we had and it’s such a shame we moved out of Reading. This is the most superb and one of the best nurseries in Reading. One team member, in particular, is totally a star and cannot be faulted in any way. She enjoyed it there and was always eager to go. My little one started from the baby room and transitioned to ladybirds. She learnt how to talk, tidy, greet etc. They are absolutely fantastic.

The team at the early‑years hub are all wonderful. Thank you for doing such a super job each and every day! I feel self‑assured to leave my little one in the attention of the fantastic team at the early‑years hub. Throughout a truly difficult time, they have all risen to the challenges that they have faced. When contacted via telephone or email, their response time is impressive and they are exceptionally quick to help with complex problems or additional needs. They are all truly patient, caring, kind and always have a smile on their faces. From those in charge of the kids to the administration team and the culinary team.

At pick-up, I always found her to be deeply focused in some game or activity, never unhappy and always chatty about her lively day. My young lady joined Green Park Day Nursery for about nine months after switching from a different nursery setting. I can advocate Green Park wholeheartedly! I really appreciated the short oral briefing about the activities they had done at the end of the day and a weekly newsletter keeps parents up-to-date on the day-to-day routine and upcoming events. In the beginning, my girl was always a bit upset at drop-off but crew have been exceptionally mindful and developed a routine with her to help her settle in. The difference was striking from the first day: enthusiastically motivated, cheerful crew who give you immediately the feeling that everyone enjoys being here – little ones and adults alike.

Would strongly advocate! The personnel are both kind and professional. Key workers and other mentors are instrumental in my child’s emotional and developmental well-being. We have had an extremely positive journey at Green Park childcare centre. The childcare centre provides a secure and loving setting for my kid.

My girl has been attending Green Park Day Nursery since she was 6 months. She is now 4 years old and will be going off to school in September! The youngsters have a great range of resources and my little one enjoys going down to their forest school! My girl adores going into early‑years hub and is always so excited to tell me about her day. I honestly cannot fault this early‑years hub, the team are all welcoming and lovely! I would have not felt comfortable leaving her at such a young age if I didn’t think this nursery setting was fab!

Just wanted to drop a note to say thank you for the really clear guidance on how to assess when/if to send youngsters to early‑years hub in respect of the ever-evolving government rules on covid. When comparing notes with other Mum friends; you have done a great job at clarifying for parents how to manage the situation.

My little one also experienced room change from Caterpillar to Ladybird when she hit the age limit, the team in both rooms provided a extremely thoughtful and smooth transition so she can settle down quickly with the new space. We never had a single moment of doubting our option and would endorse it to anyone who is looking for a nursery setting. Though it has been difficult during the pandemic, all the team have been working exceptionally hard to keep everyone safe and to provide high-standard support, I truly think they are heroes. They teach her a lot, accompany her all the time, with great patience and support. We are often surprised by how brilliant her advancement is even in the current exceptionally special ‘isolated society’. As working from home parents, we can concentrate on our jobs and not worry about a thing as we know our little one is in protected and professional hands. My little one joined this nursery setting in August 2020 and has been so enjoying life there with team and roommates!
