Green Park Day Nursery (Reading)

My little one joined this nursery in August 2020 and has been so enjoying life there with staff and roommates! Though it has been difficult during the pandemic, all the staff have been working very hard to keep everyone safe and to provide high-standard care, I truly think they are heroes. As working from home parents, we can concentrate on our jobs and not worry about a thing as we know our little one is in safe and professional hands. They teach her a lot, accompany her all the time, with great patience and care. We are often surprised by how brilliant her progress is even in the current very special ‘isolated society’. My little one also experienced room change from Caterpillar to Ladybird when she hit the age limit, the staff in both rooms provided a very thoughtful and smooth transition so she can settle down quickly with the new environment. We never had a single moment of doubting our option and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nursery.

Green Park Day Nursery is the best! We fell in love with it the moment we stepped through the door. Outside space is something that was really important to us and Green Park prioritises that. Our son has been attending since he was 10 months old (now 2) and every member of staff he has interacted with over that time has been wonderful. He continues to develop every day and absolutely loves going to nursery. Highly recommened.

Green Park Day Nursery is awesome! My 15-month-old daughter absolutely loves it and is always very excited when sees her teachers. She attends her regular room, where along with her friends she has lots of fun (often messy, which is great!). We are well informed about our child’s progress and what she was doing every day. We are 100% happy with this nursery and definitely recommend it to all parents!

My daughter attended Green Park Day Nursery for about nine months after switching from a different nursery. The difference was striking from the first day: highly motivated, cheerful staff who give you immediately the feeling that everyone enjoys being here – children and adults alike. In the beginning, my daughter was always a bit upset at drop-off but staff have been very mindful and developed a routine with her to help her settle in. At pick-up, I always found her to be deeply focused in some game or activity, never unhappy and always chatty about her lively day. I really appreciated the short oral briefing about the activities they had done at the end of the day and a weekly newsletter keeps parents up-to-date on the day-to-day routine and upcoming events. I can recommend Green Park wholeheartedly!

The nursery has provided the best level of care for my child that you could wish for. They have supported me thoroughly too and have gone over and above to meet my child’s needs and to help him at the nursery as well as tools for home as well. I have never met such kind and capable staff, you can tell the staff are happy and they retain them well. Very grateful to all of them and cannot recommend them highly enough. They tick all boxes, safe, secure, friendly, engaging and supportive and my child has flourished whilst in their care.

My daughter flourishes every day, teaching me role-playing ideas and how to make sounds of the letters and telling me all about her excellent outstanding teachers and all her friends. Particularly her keyworker and room teachers, they are the best. They update me daily about how she is learning and what we can do to help. My daughter has been seriously poorly over Christmas and the management and whole nursery have supported us both amazingly, thank you for helping her make such a speedy recovery with all your love and guidance. We would never think of any other nursery and recommend you guys to everyone.

My son has been at Green Park Day nursery for the past 3 years and he has loved it. The staff are friendly and professional. The care given to each child is based on their individual needs.
I have referred all my friends to the nursery as I knew their children would love it just as much as my son.

We have been so impressed with Green Park Day Nursery (Reading). Our son started just after Christmas and he loves it there! We really appreciated the settling-in sessions (of which we were given as many as we needed) as well as the thorough preparation by staff which put us at ease and meant we all felt ready for him to start.
The staff are all so friendly and lovely and have taken the time to get to know our son and make him feel welcome and comfortable at the nursery. The team are always very helpful and takes the time to feedback at the end of the day as well as provide daily summaries on the app.
We also really appreciate the weekly newsletters, training opportunities for both staff and parents and the contributions that the nursery makes to the wider community (including fundraising).
We’re so glad to have found a nursery where our son can thrive and those working with him provide a caring and safe learning environment!

My son attends Green Park Day Nursery (Reading) and has been attending since he was one year old, he is now three. His sister also attended over nine years ago and the standard has been the same for all those years.
All the staff are so friendly, make me and my child feel at ease and my boy is thriving with the help of everyone there.
I highly recommend this nursery for anyone and especially anyone nervous about placing their child in a nursery setting for the first time.
Also for a nursery that does constant messy activities for the children, it’s always kept so tidy and clean!
