Happitots Day Nursery

After visiting quite a few local nursery settings, I was really impressed with Happitots with the manager showing me around who happily engaged with my 1-year-old. Unfortunately due to Covid, we were not able to do any settling in sessions, however, we were able to spend 30 minutes in the garden to meet the team who would be looking after my little girl. When she first started I was called within 20 minutes to reassure me she had settled in and was happily eating breakfast. The team are always so friendly and engaged with my little girl and us as a family, and the app is great to track what she’s been doing throughout the day. She often comes home with drawings/baked goods etc. so I know she’s really stimulated whilst she’s there. They have been particularly supportive during a time of transition as we welcomed a new baby into our family, and knowing I can rely on the nursery to take such good care of our 2-year-old is very reassuring. I would highly recommend Happitots.

This has been nothing but a joyful experience. My daughter started in June 2020 during the pandemic and the nursery took amazing precautionary steps to ensure the safety of not only the children and the staff but arriving and collection by parents. Our daughter has a milk allergy and the nursery has been understanding and accommodating for our child’s needs. All children get a variety of meals and are exposed to different tastes and textures. We are notified throughout the day of general things by use of the app and the staff are very good at updating this in real-time. We also use the app for observations so you can see what the children have been up to. Our child has just been moved from the “Nest” up to “Pioneers” since she turned 2. This was done very considerately, as a couple of children are about the same age they moved together to keep friendships. They were eased in with short trips to the “Pioneers” room and then eventually a full day before completely moving.

I was recommended Happitots Nursery by a friend whose daughter goes there and enjoys it. My son has only been at Happitots for a few months but he has settled in quickly and loves going to nursery. He actually claps when we arrive and has the biggest smile on his face. The thing that really stands out is how friendly/warm all the staff are and I feel very confident that they take great care of my son. They keep in contact and send videos/photos of my son throughout the day which I love to see. I have been really impressed and I would not hesitate to recommend.

I cannot recommend Happitots enough. Our daughter joined the Nest class in August 2021 and to say I was nervous about her joining a nursery for the first time is an understatement! I needn’t have worried though. From the very first phone call with the nursery manager, I just knew that this was going to be the right place for our daughter. The manager was so warm and friendly and answered all of our questions both during the phone call and our subsequent visit to the nursery and she’s been incredibly supportive ever since. The team that look after the Nest class is run by a member of staff and she is just fantastic! The brilliant team have already established a lovely bond with our daughter and we can see positive developments each time we pick her up. I can’t praise the team enough and would encourage any parent considering a nursery for their child to contact the manager and book a visit in!

Happitots Day Nursery have been amazing with my son who has additional medical needs. They received training from my son’s nurse in their own time and have really put my mind at ease throughout his visits and his first month at nursery. He has settled well and I think this is down to the care of the professional but friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other potential parents, they ensure they treat each child as an individual and take the time to build good relationships with the child and their family.

My daughter joined Happitots Day Nursery in Winnersh in August 2021, and settled in really quickly. The staff are very attentive and really want the children to have the best experience possible at nursery. They listen and respond to any concerns I may have, and work together with me to resolve them. My daughter loves going to nursery every day. Her speech has really come on and I know she is learning new things all the time, as she manages to teach me what she has learned so we can do it together. I have friends with children similar age, and I’m always banging on about how great I think this place is!

Since our eldest started at the nursery over 2 years ago, we have been so happy with our decision. Our youngest now goes as well. The staff are fab! You get a real sense of caring, with fun activities, yummy food, and learning. Thank you Happitots!

My son has been at Happitots Day Nursery for 7 months now and he loves it. They are caring and very well organised. He takes part in a wealth of activities. I would recommend this nursery to anyone. It is a very happy place. Their communication is great!

Our daughter started Happitots at the start of September, and we couldn’t be happier with the nursery! The staff are so friendly and caring. The manager and her team have been fantastic in putting both my daughter and us at ease – always available to call with any questions. My daughter also suffers from seizures linked to high temperature – she had a sudden temp this week, which the team picked up so quickly and responsibly that we believe a seizure was prevented – something we are very grateful for. We love Happitots!

Our daughter started at Happitots Day Nursery back in July when she was 7 months old, I was extremely sad and anxious but we couldn’t be happier with the experience! The manager, and the Nest team, especially one staff member, made the experience and transition into nursery life so easy. The staff are amazing, so friendly and caring, and made sure not only that she settled in well but that I (as an emotional parent) coped ok! Our daughter absolutely loves her time there and is always full of smiles at drop off and collection. The app provides us with regular updates and pictures of her daily adventures which is so great to see, you don’t feel that you have missed out on their day. I can not recommend them more! Thank you for providing her with a fun, loving environment making the return to work a less anxious process, we will be sad to leave when the time comes!
