Happitots Day Nursery

My girl started in June 2020 during the pandemic and the nursery setting took fantastic precautionary steps to ensure the safety of not only the kids and the team but arriving and collection by parents. This was done truly considerately, as a couple of kids are about the same age they moved together to keep friendships. We also use the app for observations so you can see what the kids have been up to. This has been nothing but a joyful period. Our little one has a milk allergy and the early‑years hub has been understanding and accommodating for our child’s needs. Our little one has just been moved from the “Nest” up to “Pioneers” since she turned 2. We are notified throughout the day of general things by use of the app and the team are exceptionally good at updating this in real-time. All kids get a variety of meals and are exposed to different tastes and textures. They were eased in with short trips to the “Pioneers” room and then eventually a full day before completely moving.

I cannot suggest Happitots enough. I can’t praise the team enough and would encourage any parent considering a childcare centre for their little one to contact the manager and book a visit in! I needn’t have worried though. The manager was so warm and kind and answered all of our questions both during the phone call and our subsequent visit to the nursery setting and she’s been incredibly helpful ever since. The team that look after the Nest class is run by a member of personnel and she is just fantastic! The brilliant team have already established a lovely bond with our little one and we can see positive developments each time we pick her up. Our young lady joined the Nest class in August 2021 and to say I was nervous about her joining a childcare centre for the first time is an understatement! From the truly first phone call with the nursery setting manager, I just knew that this was going to be the right place for our little one.

I couldn’t advocate this childcare centre enough! The personnel are so warm and welcoming and are great at keeping parents updated via the app throughout the day. Since starting at the beginning of November, the positive changes in both her character and progress have been remarkable. From the first phone call I had to enquire about a place, I just knew this was the childcare centre for my young lady. Thank you for all you do and looking after our little ones with such care, enjoy and warmth! You know you can always call should you have a question or issue and you know they’ll always be a cheery voice at the other end of the phone.

On the times I have mentioned anything minor (not even worth mentioning) the team have been straight on it and had it rectified. The app is incredible! 24/7 access into our daughter’s life whilst not in our support. My little one joined during the second lockdown wave, I was instantly put at ease by the friendliness of the crew. Myself and my daughter’s father co-parent and the early‑years hub has always gone above and beyond to make us both included at all key events, communicated openly with both of us and her father is just as pleased as myself. I’m a ‘helicopter’ mum and the team have never made me feel like I can’t ask questions; in fact, they have encouraged questions! Being a private childcare centre they are a little more pricer but the proof is in the pudding – great nutritional meals, weekly observations and photos but most of all my young lady comes out every week without a doubt smiling from ear to ear.

Would thoroughly endorse this childcare centre to any parent looking for a setting for their little one. The personnel are so kind and accommodating and the youngsters are so well looked after, a weight off my mind as a full time working parent. Activities are always well structured but fun and both the boys have been able to journey indoor and outdoor activities they enjoy. Both of my little ones go to Happitots, and it is such a wonderful early‑years hub.

The contact is fantastic throughout the day. Great journey of booking this childcare centre from the moment we made the first call! They will always update you via the app on what your kid is up to, along with cute photos! Overall, an excellent choice of early‑years hub! They are so interactive and know just how to make you feel comfortable with leaving your little one in their hands! I have also had a few phone calls to reassure me everything was going well or tell me funny stories of what my young lad had got up to – which I really appreciated. The personnel are so enthusiastic and welcoming and genuinely enjoy their jobs and the youngsters! I was shocked to see how attached my little one had got to all the childcare centre crew and it was lovely to see them console him when he got upset during drop-offs.

You get a real sense of caring, with fun activities, yummy food, and absorbing. Thank you Happitots! The team are fab! Since our eldest started at the early‑years hub over 2 years ago, we have been so delighted with our decision. Our youngest now goes as well.

I have been really impressed and I would not hesitate to advocate. He actually claps when we arrive and has the biggest smile on his face. They keep in contact and send videos/photos of my little one throughout the day which I treasure to see. My young lad has only been at Happitots for a few months but he has settled in quickly and enjoys going to early‑years hub. I was recommended Happitots Nursery by a friend whose young lady goes there and enjoys it. The thing that really stands out is how friendly/warm all the team are and I feel extremely confident that they take great care of my boy.

After visiting quite a few local nursery setting settings, I was really impressed with Happitots with the manager showing me around who happily engaged with my 1-year-old. She often comes home with drawings/baked goods etc. so I know she’s really stimulated whilst she’s there. I would wholeheartedly suggest Happitots. The team are always so cordial and engaged with my little girl and us as a family, and the app is great to track what she’s been doing throughout the day. They have been particularly helpful during a time of transition as we welcomed a new baby into our family, and knowing I can rely on the nursery setting to take such good care of our 2-year-old is truly reassuring. When she first started I was called within 20 minutes to reassure me she had settled in and was happily eating breakfast. Unfortunately due to Covid, we were not able to do any settling in sessions, however, we were able to spend 30 minutes in the garden to meet the team who would be looking after my little girl.

As soon as meeting the manager and the Happitots team, we knew our little girl (1 year old) would be in secure hands and flourish at this childcare centre. They did and continue to make us feel comfortable and part of the wider Happitots family. Our little girl treasures going and seeing her instructors and friends. She even eats and sleeps better than she does at home.
