February 23, 2022 at 12:00 amMill cottage have been fantastic at helping our daughter to adjust to new social environments post-pandemic. Her ability to communicate with both her peers and teachers has increased tremendously since she started attending the setting.

May 5, 2022 at 12:00 amBoth my partner and I could not recommend Mill Cottage nursery enough. Our child has flourished whilst attending. They are happy, confident, well rounded and so independent since joining the nursery.
We took our child to a different outstanding nursery for the first few months of their time at nursery, however, the difference since attending Mill Cottage is outstanding. Our child absolutely adores nursery and so do we!

January 27, 2023 at 12:00 amMy review is 1 star based on the below.
1. Finance gets things wrong constantly. I battled with them at the start as they didn’t want to accept my tax-free childcare payment. I literally had to call the tax-free childcare team to tell Mill Cottage they were wrong. I had wasted 2 days on this. Ridiculous.
2. We gave them plenty of notice when we decided to take our children out. They are claiming they haven’t received an email, the matter is now proceeding to court and will be defended robustly.
3. Family-run business, this means things can get brushed under the carpet, especially when parents question certain things relating to certain staff behaviour, etc.
4. Children at nursery are given cake almost every day we collected them.
In conclusion, this is not a good setting, and not a Montessori setting as they claim, children often watch TV and cartoons which defeats the purpose of child care. If I wanted my kids to watch TV they would happily do that at home.
