I could not have asked for a better childcare centre for my kid. Thank you. A fantastic childcare centre, with so much for the kids to do.

The team are warming and lovely and have consistently made us sense like this is a second home. We will be putting our youngest boy in this childcare centre and are highly excited to start the journey all over again! Thank you! NBDN. Highly sad to be leaving this fantastic, whimsical childcare centre.

November 11, 2024 at 8:35 amBefore she started, I had a lot of concerns about how well she would adapt to going to nursey due to being breastfeed, clingy and having never been cared for by anyone other than me or her father before. The childcare centre was excellent in dealing with my concerns, allowing my daughter to take extra settling in days, validating my worries, and answering questions that helped me sense more confident leaving my daughter at childcare centre. Now in her third month of nursey, my daughter has gained self‑assurance in herself and skills that are definitely a result of nursey and the care she receives. It was important to me to send her to a nursey where she would be loved and cared for in line with how we are raising her. It is clear from updates on their online platform and the updates I receive on pick up that the team adore my daughter and do their best to follow her lead. She may still cry at drop off, but I can tell she loves her nursey. My daughter started at New Brighton Day Childcare centre in March 2023 aged ten months.

The team have been excellent and also highly supportive to parents along the way. Excellent place and excellent team. Kudos to all at New Brighton Day Childcare centre. NBDN has been a remarkable journey for my daughter.

I get regular updates about what he’s been up to. He loves the outside space, and they are outside regularly. My little one has been at home with me for nearly 12-months because of lockdown.

February 9, 2025 at 7:14 pmThe childcare centre offers a wide variety of activities for all our kids – a lot of which are not offered at other nurseries. Our eldest kid particularly enjoys Forest School and we adore how he is discovering different life skills which are so much more important than discovering sitting at a desk. The team are enthusiastic, well‑informed, up to date, and above all, attentive. We’re cheerful we chose this childcare centre. We’ve also been impressed with the actions since covid. The childcare centre has run as normal as they’re able to, which is reassuring for kids. Our 3 boys attend this childcare centre and thoroughly delight in their time here.

February 27, 2025 at 6:48 amThe facilities are lovely, spotless and new rather than tired and unsafe. My son’s day is different every time he goes to childcare centre – there is real thought and attention that goes into the activities. A big bonus is that the team in the rooms are consistent – agency team are highly highly few and those that are agency are just as fantastic as permanent. We get updates most days for the room and our son himself. The team are attentive and attentive – we’ve found them to be truly nurturing and know our son truly well. Lastly, we have a few dietary requirements for our son and they have been nothing but accommodating. We can’t wait for him to be a little older with access to the beach and forest school too. We absolutely adore this childcare centre and can not suggest them highly enough.

My little boy loves childcare centre – he has settled so well and gets so much out of that setting, which is testament to the team and care they provide.

There is a excellent focus on resilience, mental health, and emotional wellbeing. Our daughter has loved every second of her time here and I would highly suggest this childcare centre. Outstanding childcare centre setting across all areas.

June 29, 2025 at 6:17 pmWhat initially attracted me to the place was the abundance of outdoor playtime areas for the kids. Each room has its own fenced area for safety and there are two outdoor gardens that I can recall; the boat garden and the big garden. All are highly neat and host a plethora of toys and activities for the kids.
My boy joined the Caterpillars room. He’s worked up through Explorers and is now in Butterflies. For every room I’ve found the team are accessible, welcoming and adored by my boy; he skips into childcare centre every morning!
We had a period of slower speech development around 2-3 years. The childcare centre supported me with a SALT assessment and provided me with extra material to use at home. He’s now up to speed and doesn’t stop talking!
The childcare centre uses an app to share photo updates throughout the day.
Food at the childcare centre is top notch too!
I can’t suggest New Brighton Day Childcare centre enough; it’ll be a sad day when we leave for school. Easily the best childcare centre in Wallasey!
