November 8, 2019 at 12:00 amOur daughter has started at Nina’s Nursery recently. We first were offered to look around the nursery and meet the staff. The nursery manager was very knowledgeable and eased our anxieties. The staff were friendly with them carrying out activities with the children. We chose Nina’s because of the small groups of children with calm rooms and happy children. Our daughter who is only 16 weeks old has settled really well with the baby staff and we liked how the nursery manager greeted us at drop off time. My daughter always has a smile on her face when she goes which shows to us she is well cared for and feels secure. We also love the fact that the nursery use an app which we get regular updates on what she is doing. I would recommend this nursery to any of my pregnant or parent friends an amazing nursery which our daughter loves.

March 10, 2020 at 12:00 amSince my son started Nina’s Nursery (Davenport) in 2018 the nursery has put 100% effort into his speech and wellbeing. I have never had a bad word to say about any of the staff or the way of learning he is the most polite loving, smartest little boy and it’s down to the nursery and their unique way of teaching. My son loves spending every day there with the staff and children and it will be sad when he leaves in July. Thank you for everything!

November 23, 2020 at 12:00 amMy son has been attending from 9 months old, it took me a long time to find a nursery I liked but as soon as I went to see Nina’s in Davenport I knew it was the one. It is such a homely calming environment. The staff are exceptional. My son was exclusively breastfed when he started until he turned 1. I dropped off milk daily and they were extremely flexible and knowledgable. I’m surprised every day by how he is learning and developing in leaps and bounds and he is so clearly loved and cared for as an individual. I don’t think he’d be the confident happy buy he is without Nina’s.

November 24, 2020 at 12:00 amStaff here go above and beyond for my son. He has attended Nina’s Nursery in Davenport since he was 11 months old, he is now 2.5 years old. The staff are caring and considerate and tailor learning towards my son’s interests. They were especially helpful and flexible during lockdown as I am a keyworker.

December 3, 2020 at 12:00 amNina’s Nursery have been wonderful at creating fun activities for the children despite the continued challenges of COVID-19. The staff are conscientious in all aspects of child care, paying particular attention to our son’s likes and dislikes, such as getting the dinosaurs out ‘specially after they saw ‘real’ dinos in Blackpool Zoo. Activities for Halloween were great fun.

December 3, 2020 at 12:00 amI/we consider the staff at nursery as extended family. I feel that they have contributed well to the development of my son and on a daily basis create imaginative activities to develop many skills. The safety of my child is, of course, paramount and I feel the measures that have been implemented post-COVID have been exceptional.

December 3, 2020 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been attending Nina’s Nursery since the age of 11 months (she is now 4). She thoroughly enjoys attending and gets upset at weekends when she can’t go! She had learnt so much from self care to numbers and the alphabet. I will be sad when she leaves to go to school and she will miss all the great staff. Thank you!

December 7, 2020 at 12:00 amAn amazing nursery where my little girl has fitted in without looking back. The staff are all amazing, it’s like home from home for the little ones. The facilities are brilliant, always clean and well presented and she comes home each day completely worn out after having so much fun. I would highly recommend this nursery to all.

December 7, 2020 at 12:00 amNina’s Nursery Davenport is amazing. My daughter started earlier this year without ever having attended a childcare facility before and she hasn’t looked back. She had settled in within a week and now gets upset when it isn’t a nursery day – what more could I ask for?
The staff are amazing, treating the children like their own. The activities are so much fun for all of the children and it is amazing how time is taken to photograph their daily journey and sent to parents so you always know what they have been doing each day and despite not being there, never feel left out.
The facilities of the nursery and its garden are brilliant, everything is well looked after and always clean.
I am so pleased we chose this nursery for our little girl, we have had a fantastic journey so far and are really looking forward to what comes next. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone!

May 20, 2021 at 12:00 amOur daughter was very shy after the Covid lockdown. We are thrilled with how quickly she settled into Nina’s Nursery. She bonded with all the staff quickly and they supported her to build up her confidence with other children. It is a testament to the fantastic team that our daughter is now a much more confident child around other adults and happily plays with children. After viewing over 10 nurseries, what stood out for us is the caring staff who all have a calm, warm approach that made us feel safe to leave our daughter in their care. The facilities are also lovely and the children look happy to be there. Nina’s is by far the best nursery we have come across.

June 8, 2021 at 12:00 amSince joining Nina’s Davenport our son has come on immensely in terms of development. We selected this nursery has we had concerns regarding communication but they immediately made us feel supported and he has improved greatly with their support during his time with them so far. He loves nursery and is desperate to get there each time. The team are all lovely and the nursery and the outdoor space are brilliant. Highly recommend.

July 5, 2021 at 12:00 amMy child has enjoyed his nursery experience throughout May 2021. We continue to be impressed by the staff’s enthusiasm towards the children every day. It seems a lovely place to enjoy developing and learning. We think the nursery is clean and resources are a good standard. The app is an excellent tool when it is used consistently. Thank you for all your hard work!

October 6, 2021 at 12:00 amExtremely poor communication from the nursery. My daughter did not receive any of her free childcare hours, after four months a refund payment of 42 hours was given out of a calculated 21 weeks owed. Been trying to arrange a meeting to resolve this but just been repeatedly fobbed off with that they are unavailable when I am.
With regards to education, the nursery has also done very little to progress my daughter in this area. I was given a promise that they would focus on developing her phonics and reading skills to which I saw no active work on this in her final year at the nursery.
They have little understanding about culture and diversity and proceeded to teach children during their week learning about the world that my daughter’s heritage is pirates. As they did no research into the history or culture of the people of the Caribbean, they decided to teach the children about ‘pirates of the Caribbean’ which is causing misrepresentation of people of colour from a young age.

August 30, 2022 at 12:00 amWe have two children attending Nina’s Nursery Davenport, one is 18 months old and one is almost 3 years old. Both have attended since around 9 months old. The children are always keen to wave us off at the door, a sign they are secure in the setting. The app the staff use to communicate with parents is vastly superior to the paper-based approach used at other nursery services and it is a joy to see photos of what they have been up to each day. I am a particular fan of the nursery’s outside space and getting the children outside in all weathers. The only negative I would mention is that staff turnover is quite high. Both of our children have complex needs, with the elder having a disability and the younger having multiple allergies. All care has been to a very high standard and I would not hesitate to recommend it to other parents. In fact, I have recommended the nursery to several friends – some of which now have children attending and others are on the waiting list for a place.

August 30, 2022 at 12:00 amAs soon as I looked round Nina’s Nursery Davenport I knew it was the nursery for my son. All the staff are always so welcoming and caring. My son loves it and I would recommend Nina’s to anyone. The garden is amazing too. It really is a home from home nursery.

August 30, 2022 at 12:00 amWe chose Nina’s Nursery in Davenport after looking around quite a few! I’m not sure what it was, but something just felt right! The staff are so warm and friendly and assured us there would always be plenty of cuddles. The rooms are natural, calm and inviting. We were really taken by the garden, it’s big with different areas and there’s trees and space to explore – something we felt other nurseries were missing. Our son had a lot of allergies when he started and the nursery catered for these and we always felt confident that it was taken seriously. Our little one loves nursery and we absolutely love seeing the updates on the app about his day – they spend so much time outside and doing different activities. We feel confident leaving him that he’s safe and well looked after which is all you can ask for!

September 1, 2022 at 12:00 amDavenport Ninas has made the transition from leaving our baby and returning back to work seamless and stress free. The staff are amazing and it has been so comforting knowing our baby has been cared for by such lovely staff. There are always so many updates of fun and exciting new games and challenges. We especially enjoy getting photos and seeing our baby having so much fun with his friends and staff. The staff are also great at providing progress of development on the Famly app, which is brilliant! They have now started ‘stay and play’ sessions, which we are looking forward to attending more of. We are very happy to send our baby to Nina’s and we know he loves it too!

September 6, 2022 at 12:00 amAn outstanding nursery, my little boy has come on so much since starting at Nina’s Nursery, he absolutely loves it.
They spend a lot of time outside playing and learning in the garden which is suited to all weather.

September 6, 2022 at 12:00 amWe have found Nina’s Davenport to be a lovely homely setting with a great outdoor space. My daughter settled well when she started and has made happy and secure attachments with staff and other children. The staff plan a range of different activities and my daughter has had a good learning experience so far.
The app is really useful for the daily updates and 2 way communication.
