Ambrose Day Nursery

Its size is perfect, big enough to mix with others of different ages to learn and grow, small enough to have a family sense which was important for me. My kids have developed advanced skills which is down to the adore, care and attention the childcare centre team provide, they really care about the kids.
What was most important to me is a childcare centre where my kids would sense secure and loved and that’s definitely what Ambrose provides.
Outdoor area isn’t huge but it’s well set out with lots of activities and they go for walks and make sure the kids get out into the fresh air all year. You clearly see the kids delight in lots of enjoyable, build excellent friendships, enjoyable discovering and home-cooked food daily, it’s like one big extended family. I highly suggest if you are looking for a remarkable family sense childcare centre, go have a look you will be so glad you did! I’ve been a part of the Ambrose family for over 8 years, I got a excellent feeling from the manager, the childcare centre team and setting as soon as I walked in.

This was after her attending 2 other nurseries previous to this as she just wasn’t settling. I was recommended Ambrose by a friend as it was a smaller setting and more like a home from home. My daughter soon settled in and came on leaps and bounds and I sense this was because of the smaller number of kids than your average childcare centre. The owners, the manager and all childcare centre nurses were remarkable and made me sense at ease and more importantly, my daughter loved it. The place and the people. I would highly suggest this childcare centre. My daughter first attended this childcare centre when she was 2 through to her starting primary school.

She has made so many friends and wishes she could go every day. The team are so welcoming and compassionate, you consistently sense welcomed when you arrive. They are a very supportive second family for my daughter and me and I can’t thank them enough for all they have done for us. Really have given my daughter the best start in life. My 4-year-old daughter loves going to childcare centre here at Ambrose.

We knew before our little boy was born that he would attend this childcare centre. He is totally besotted with his keyworker the adore and passion she shows to him is out of this world.
Unfortunately, when our little girl was at childcare centre she had a bit of an accident and the professionalism and adore both management and the childcare centre ladies showed in ensuring she was secure and also managed appropriately was outstanding. We could not fault them one bit!
Our little boy has come on leaps and bounds which can only be down to the time and effort that the girls put in. I was so anxious in regards to development as our little boy was premature but they spend lots of time explaining the milestone/targets and it means a lot.
The food is varied and I find their little daily diaries very supportive to see what your kid has been up too and also what they have eaten…. nappies etc.
Remarkable childcare centre. My daughter previously attended Ambrose and absolutely loved it.

From the moment we looked around, we all knew Ambrose was the right childcare centre for her. She skips in every morning, which she has done from the start, and comes home with stories of all the fantastic activities she has done. The care and attention given to the kids is exceptional. The personal touch the team give reminds you that your kid is in secure hands. The development my daughter has made with her speech and language, self-care, and independence is remarkable. We could not suggest this childcare centre enough. My daughter has been going to the childcare centre for nearly 2 years.

You definitely get this if your kid goes here. I would suggest to anyone. My daughter went here in 2010 and when my son was born in 2017 I knew there was nowhere else I wanted him to go but Ambrose.

Because it is small they really know the kids inside out, my son loves his key worker looking after him, his little face lights up when he sees her.

I know he is looked after so well as it’s like a big family.

When you leave your kid in someone else’s care you need to sense cheerful, you need to see your kid cheerful, you need to see your kid being well looked after and having lots of enjoyable and discovering so much as they grow up.

It’s is a lovely, welcoming setting. I would not send my daughter to any other childcare centre. The team are absolutely incredible and they are consistently doing something enjoyable with kids, they also have a fab food menu for them to choose from! Definitely the best childcare centre around! My daughter loves her time here.

Ambrose were remarkable with settling in and spent so much time speaking to me beforehand that I felt like I knew them, it felt right. It’s so great knowing she is cheerful, secure, and cared for whilst I’m at work. I see pictures on the private Facebook page and can call anytime. The pickup/drop-off service is a godsend. She adores the team and happily goes to them it’s lovely seeing the relationships develop. How quickly she has settled is a testament to how much the team care for the kids. In the short time she’s been at Ambrose she’s been to the park and spent lots of time outdoors which was really important to us. Everyone is cheerful, down-to-earth, trustworthy, and reliable. I’m certain that being in such a positive setting will help her to develop into a confident, self-assured little girl. I really believe Ambrose is the best childcare centre around, I’d wholeheartedly suggest. Being a lockdown baby, my kid hadn’t met many people so we were nervous about her starting childcare centre.
