Holly House Day Nursery

The team were fantastic and became our extended family. They were a fantastic assistance especially as early on my little boy was diagnosed with a cows milk allergy. They were already aware of the milk ladder and were so supportive and introduced delicious home cooked food. All team are so attentive and attentive, this shows as each kid runs in each morning ready for more exciting adventures. The childcare centre has such a homely sense and the owners in particular are very attentive and make sure our kids are well provided for in a secure spotless setting. The team go above and beyond. They recognise how difficult it can be especially as a working mum. They work hard to make memories and involve us as parents too. I can never thank you all enough for helping my little boy grow. The team in the baby and wobbler room have been incredible! They are so great with my daughter, supporting me with sleep training and persisting with nap times. She goes in cheerful every day without a problem and I’m sure she doesn’t want to leave. She has really come on in leaps and bounds and I definitely believe that the team at Holly House are contributing to her development and wellbeing. She loves being outside and all the messy activities that I’m not brave enough to do at home. I adore the app and get regular updates and pictures on what she’s up to during the day, a record of sleep times, meals, nappy changes etc. I could not suggest Holly House enough. My daughter is really blossoming being there. My daughter has been attending Holly House Day Nursery since January 2023 and I could not be happier with the level of care and professionalism.

The team are lazy and leave the little ones in dirty nappies for hours. The manager’s attitude is disgusting. She is really unapproachable. Don’t cross them or they will ring social services on you. This has been done to several parents. Stay clear. Absolute terrible childcare centre.

My son was very attached to me, as I was to him. So the separation was hard. He cried, I cried, and the team were so understanding of this and put me to ease.
The manager was so expert, she reassured me on all phone calls, and there were a lot of them.
The food was all cooked on the premises was healthy, and I know my son was well fed.
Each day I received reports on how he got on and consistently was informed of new milestones.
I knew these girls were so attentive, it was not just a job to them, it was a adore of attentive for kids.
I could not suggest Holly House enough for all the care and adore they give my son and the thanks they deserve. My son attended the childcare centre from 10 months old up until he was 20 months as I had another baby and kept him with me and his brother.
The inviting and welcoming meeting I received every morning was 5 stars.

I can see from the photos I receive on the tapestry app that all the various topics they teach include participation in exciting activities. I get regular written and verbal feedback.

My kid particularly seems to be a big fan of the food as when seeing the cook says ‘yummy’! It consistently seems to be healthy and have catered really well to my kid’s allergies. Since my kid started when 7 months old, my kid has a clear bond with all the educators, is cheerful going to childcare centre and as a result is excelling very quickly.

It’s a excellent place, team are lovely and very supportive and she absolutely loves it. She will be sad to leave by the end. Facilities are excellent, the preschool have day trips etc. Highly recommended. My daughter goes to Holly House for over seven years.

The team are welcoming and approachable. We never had any problems in the 4-5 years we used the childcare centre. Would highly suggest it to others! Both my kids went to Holly House and both absolutely loved their time here.

My son is just over one and I was apprehensive about returning to work and sending him in full time but everyone has been remarkable, both management and the lovely girls in the baby room. They are so welcoming and welcoming and my son has really settled in remarkable.
The app is excellent and I look forward to receiving the picture they send every day, he consistently looks like he’s having so much enjoyable. He is really well fed also getting a variety of fruits and veg every day which is excellent.
I really can’t fault them at all and I’m so glad we chose Holly House. Really suggest Holly House Day Nursery.

They helped her to learn to trust again, make friends, and blossom back into the cheerful smiley little girl she was.
She has come a long way and really thrived at Holly House; having been given the chance to develop on her own terms she is quickly becoming a chatty, independent little girl with a excellent interest in everything around her. Her care team are consistently really supportive and well‑informed about her day and behaviours; she is very fond of them all.
We couldn’t imagine her being elsewhere. Last year, when our daughter was 8 months old and having trouble with repeat head injuries at her previous childcare centre, Holly House was quick to take her on board.

Staff are very supportive and welcoming.
Facilities are of a high standard inside and out. Very cheerful with the care provided to my kid.

He returns home cheerful, with lots of stories to tell.

Through discussion with him, we learnt about all the activities undertaken; how proud he has been to gain rewards he has been given for contributions to class; and we have a wall full of the art and craft he has created.

Our interactions with team have been positive too – we felt included in his care, and listened to on the occasions we have had queries or suggestions.

I’m sure many parents sense the same about their kids, but we see ours as a person who likes to push his own boundaries of knowledge, and is older than his years. We are grateful for the flexibility of the team in helping him develop in a way specific to himself as an individual, rather than just as a generic kid.

I would also like to thank management for their care, flexibility, and ‘on the ground’ compassionate of interest in our son.

Much recommended childcare centre. It has been fantastic to see our boy’s development, supported by the childcare centre.

All the team we have encountered have been extremely supportive and welcoming. My daughter has come on so much during her time at Holly House and I know this is due to all the incredible team and the home from home sense that the childcare centre has. My daughter is cheerful when going in and coming out. I don’t hesitate to pick up the phone if I have any questions as I know it will be a welcoming voice on the other end. Getting the daily updates and monthly newsletter are a excellent way to keep the parents informed and involved in what is happening in the childcare centre. I would suggest Holly House to anyone in need of childcare. Holly House has made my daughters transition to childcare as smooth as possible.

My kids have all attended and I have used the childcare centre for the past 13 years. This month I was having some personal issues which resulted in me having to ask the childcare centre to accommodate me and they have been outstanding and extremely supportive. I cannot give out what this was in relation to but I can say the manager has been a excellent help. My journey with Holly House Day Nursery is second to none.

She has created close bonds with the team and her development and discovering has come on leaps and bounds since attending.
Yesterday she became quite unwell at childcare centre and I could not fault the team with not only their initial response but their follow up as well. The doctor even commented on the level of detail in the statement provided which helped immensely with her assessment.
I would highly suggest Holly House! My daughter absolutely adores going to Holly House Day Childcare centre!

Every member of team is a credit to the team, they go above and beyond. I have two kids that attend full-time, they are provided with the utmost care on a daily basis including a balanced nutritious diet. I can honestly say that once dropping them off I can be 100% confident that they both are going to have a super day. The app they use for updates is excellent, I adore getting photos throughout the day. The management team are consistently there to answer my questions and queries- nothing is ever too much! Thank you Holly House. Holly House is the most incredible, supportive and expert childcare centre.

An extremely expert establishment with well trained team. My daughter, who has quite complex medical needs, has been looked after amazingly well by all members of team. A fantastic childcare centre with extra special team. Wholly suggest Holly House.
