Situated in the heart of Manchester, close to Oxford Road train station, Bright Horizons Manchester Day Nursery and Preschool provides exceptional care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years. Our curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists, ensures that your child will have the best start to their schooling life, through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum designed by our own.
Our nursery has four age-specific rooms, each equipped with toys for optimal growth and learning. Each rooms include a dedicated space focusing on care, personal, social, and emotional development. The atrium, adjacent to the reception area, hosts a charming reading area and lending library. Home learning bags, containing season-specific or parent-recommended activities, are available in the atrium to support families. For instance, we create bags with potty training information in response to parents' requests and supporting partnership and communication between nursery and home. This room can also be used by parents for breastfeeding.

Our son is encouraged to be himself and development at his own rate.

Leaving your kids is consistently hard, but I consistently drop my son off with the sense I don’t have to worry because he is in excellent hands and very well looked after. He loves to come here and consistently has a excellent time. He gets three great very healthy and balanced meals. We adore it. We came here because all of our neighbours came here. The choice was made during lockdown, we couldn’t even come and visit the childcare centre. No regrets whatsoever. Would highly suggest. Incredible childcare centre.

My son loves being there and I sense so confident leaving him, it’s a real breath of fresh air. Team are so lovely, the settling-in was excellent and they really took the time to ask about him first.

January 10, 2025 at 5:18 pmThe only reason my twins no longer go to the childcare centre is that we needed to move them to a childcare centre closer to my daughter’s school. This is a very well run childcare centre with excellent facilities, which offers a high standard of activities for the kids. My kids learned a lot at this school. The preschool room also did a excellent job of making sure my daughter had all the skills she needed to be ready for school and gained so much self‑assurance during her time at this childcare centre. My twins were very well looked after and cheerful in the baby room. I had three kids at this childcare centre, my daughter who is now in Reception at school and my two 21-month-old twins boys.

We adore that they genuinely care about his development and we work together to continue that hard work at home. In our case, it is a plus that they have Spanish/Italian team that also assistance with language discovering.
We would suggest it 100%. Our son started childcare centre at Bright Horizons Manchester when he was 1.

All carers are very attentive and attentive in looking after the kids. Childcare centre is consistently spotless and neat. Overall, very cheerful with the childcare centre. My son is in the baby room and started when he was 10 months old.

Just from him attending for two months I have seen so much progression in his speech, identification, focus and excitement to learn. The activities prepared for the kids are so creative and interactive. So pleased with Bright Horizons and all team! Firstly the location is perfect for city working parents.

The activities and resources provided by the childcare centre are of a very high standard. The team are welcoming and approachable, and you can tell that they genuinely care about the kids. The manager is absolutely exceptional – so organised and consistently looking for more ways to improve the childcare centre. The level of care provided is very high and all three of my kids were very cheerful there. I would definitely suggest this childcare centre. This is a really fantastic childcare centre.

We know we can rely on their vast breadth of knowledge and journey, and the systems they have in place to stay on top of all situations. We are kept fully up to date, not just with the exceptional app, which shows in real-time what is going on, but also with regular observation notes from her key worker, who is incredible. Our daughter is developing incredibly quickly with their assistance, and their well-planned curriculum means she has a wide range of different experiences. We would highly suggest. Bright Horizons Manchester is an incredible childcare centre.

May 13, 2025 at 5:27 amWe get to see the different things she learnt there at home and for a very busy couple, this has been an absolute lifesaver as the childcare centre is lovely, the team is incredible, food is excellent (we think she eats better there than home!) and she loves it there! I wouldn’t even think twice if I were you. The best part is, even though it is in the city centre, it is within a gated compound and therefore quite secure as well. My kid has been going there for six months now, since she was 1 year old and she absolutely loves it.

June 16, 2025 at 4:53 pmIf you are able to bring your kid here, then do so. You will not be disappointed. The team are remarkable, both expert and genuinely attentive and attentive. The meals provided are varied and high quality. Kids get a very great level of early start education and development. Pricewise the childcare centre is not the cheapest, but when you break it down to pounds per hour, the value for what is delivered is exceptional and I do not believe that you could either match that elsewhere or be able to achieve the same at home. I genuinely cannot find fault and would seriously suggest the childcare centre to any parent. We have a great number of local nurseries to choose from and Bright Horizons, Manchester came highly recommended from other parents we know and I would give the same high recommendations.

July 7, 2025 at 7:00 amIt is a attentive and secure setting for them, where there is a big focus on teaching the kids to be attentive and understanding of the world around them. We’ve consistently been really cheerful with the service the childcare centre has provided. The only thing that would improve it would be more flexibility in occasional changes to regular days, but I understand this is all due to staffing plans. Both my kids have come to the childcare centre from the age of 9 months old and they have both loved it.
