Playdays Day Nursery

They were all so inviting and attentive. My son loves it here. The management was approachable and present in the same way all the team were. We suggest this place highly to anyone who asks. Every single member of team was so lovely they consistently had time for you despite being so busy with the kids.

They have both thrived in the setting due to the commitment and hard work of the team. They care deeply about the kids’s well-being and both my kids built up excellent bonds with the team whilst there. My youngest son is about to leave for reception class in September and the childcare centre team have prepared him well for his transition. They do many activities throughout the year including singing carols in the hospital at Christmas and various topics to learn which are appropriate to the time of year. My youngest son has been discovering French since the age of three (as an extra class) and they also do yoga with the kids which he loves. They serve a excellent variety of healthy food for the kids and teach them about food groups and being healthy. They also have an abundance of toys, books, building material and crafts to use. Playdays is a remarkable childcare centre which we will be sad to leave and I would suggest it to anyone. I have used this childcare centre for both of my kids.

The team in ‘Stepping Stones Room’ are very supportive and understanding and make sure she is comforted with cuddles until she settles which is reassuring for me. We are aiming to stop using the dummy so team are supportive in trying her without it for naps and reporting back to me how she got on. It’s excellent how they encourage the kids to playtime outside whenever they can and are teaching my daughter independence and basic lessons for life. She has so much variety to her day and this childcare centre fulfils all her needs. My daughter has just turned 3 and enjoys childcare centre very much, however, dropping off on a morning can be emotional for her.

We have been cheerful with the care he has had since day one. The team are all remarkable and really welcoming and my little one goes in to childcare centre every day with a smile. Lots of enjoyable and discovering and I have loved watching his self‑assurance grow as he moved through the rooms. My little boy has attended Playdays since he was 9 months old and is now 3.

I cannot thank the team enough as they have helped my daughter (who is very shy) to settle in and brought her on leaps and bounds. The team are consistently approachable, supportive, dedicated and consistently there when needed. My daughter has loved attending Playdays and I would highly suggest. My daughter has attended Playdays Day Nursery for the past three years.

I can honestly say it’s a low level of care, team are very nice when they see you as a parent, but they’ll do what they want once you leave. I constantly found my son dirty even if he had spare clothes, I used to pick him up covered in food on his clothes, face, they cleaned his nose only if you told them. My husband picked him up and he had a dirty nappy with dried poo on his skin and which leaked on his clothes, they sent my son home winter time with no jacket because they didn’t know which is his. Making it short, the place is too small for the number of kids, the standard of care is very low and the team very unprofessional. They weren’t sure some days if my kid ate something. My son went here for 6 months in which I could observe the quality of their care.

All team expert and approachable and wonderfully flexible for busy working parents. Great opening hours. Very cheerful with the placement and would suggest to others. Lovely, welcoming childcare centre where team make the kids and parents sense relaxed and comfortable.

The team are all outstanding – welcoming, attentive and approachable. My kids loved going to childcare centre – there’s no better praise than that for me!!!! Both of my kids have attended the childcare centre and I cannot praise it highly enough.

As she was a quiet and shy kid I did worry about her attending childcare centre initially, but she has come on leaps and bounds and her self‑assurance has massively improved. The team are exceptional, really supportive and reassuring, and she really loved them. My daughter has loved her time at Playdays.
