My son has already made development in motor skills and socialising in just three weeks. The entire team team are super welcoming, highly supportive and expert. The childcare centre building is bright, airy and yet still has a homely, cosy sense. The food menu is varied and they fully accommodate my son’s allergy needs. The team seem to take pride in their work, setting up lovely activities for the babies. The app is super detailed and truly puts your mind at ease to be able to have constant information. This is a positive, attentive and organised childcare centre.

All team have been so welcoming and welcoming and this has allowed for a highly smooth transition back into childcare centre life. All team are highly well informed and know my daughter highly well which makes dropping her off at childcare centre as easy as it can be. The new manager is stellar – highly organised, highly knowledgable and so inviting and welcoming. My daughter’s days are filled with varied and interesting activities which are targeted at her level of development and I adore reading about what she has been up to on the little sheet that gets sent home with her (also contains all the information on food, nappies, naps etc). I could not be happier with the level of care my daughter receives – I highly suggest this childcare centre! I have been so pleased with how West Hill have welcomed my daughter back after lockdown.

Our daughter loves telling us about all the activities she gets up to, from riding balance bikes in the toddler garden to experiments in the science lab, painting in the art studio, and baking in the kids’s kitchen. And all of the key information (food they’ve eaten, nap times, nappy changes, activities, etc) are recorded in the daily sheet that gets sent home. There have been a few changes to management over the past year or so, but we have been exceptionally impressed by the new management team who have been in place since the childcare centre re-opened after lockdown. They are incredibly organised, highly well‑informed, and their engagement with parents is stellar – we receive regular updates by email, have scheduled chats with key workers over zoom (due to coronavirus restrictions), and they organise and encourage lots of home discovering activities to help bridge the gap between childcare centre and home. This is a lovely, attentive childcare centre with exceptional facilities and compassionate team.

Now three and two years old, they thoroughly delight in themselves and see the childcare centre as a home away from home. They are cheerful and confident kids who delight in the childcare centre setting and have a excellent relationship with the remarkable team at West Hill.
We get an immense sense of satisfaction seeing them walking through the childcare centre gates with excellent enthusiasm, and are greeted with a inviting welcome by the members of team. We know they are well looked after and stimulated. Our son attends Preschool, and he comes back most days with new nuggets of information on topics ranging from astronomy, geography, bugs and atoms. His vocabulary has increased extensively and enjoys practising writing letters and numbers at home. Our daughter is in the toddler room, she loves the activities they prepare for them and proudly displays the arts and crafts around the house, which she brings back from childcare centre. Our kids started attending the childcare centre full time shortly after turning six months.

The first 6 months were outstanding, we were highly pleased with the facilities, team and management. Sadly, the original management team left and since then it has never been the same. 1.5 years later, 6 managers have been and gone, numerous key workers and a number of concerns over the quality of care and safeguarding, we had to take the decision to remove our daughter. A number of other parents took the same decision around the same time as us. The facility itself is lovely, large and bright but I’m not convinced all the additional rooms such as art studio, cooking studio etc are adequately utilised. They never took the kids out anywhere, not even the local park which is a short walk away. The team turn over was ridiculous, the quality of food became highly poor. The childcare centre workers in the rooms tried their best, but management was shambolic. Our daughter joined this childcare centre shortly after it opened when she was 1year old.

They started in October 2020 and I’ve been truly pleased with how quickly they’ve settled and the relationships they’ve developed with the kids and team there. They joined straight after moving from overseas and my youngest had not been looked after by a childcare provider before. After a couple of tearful days she took to the childcare centre and educators highly quickly and absolutely loves the time she spends there. I’ve watched my eldest develop so much since joining the preschool, especially with numbers and the alphabet and have been truly impressed with the range of activities he gets involved in. The team are welcoming, inviting and are quick to address any questions that I have. Their response during the Covid-19 pandemic has been highly organised, expert and despite the extra pressure this must have put on them, hasn’t impacted the quality of care that has been provided. I have two kids one and a half years and four years old who attend the childcare centre and preschool at Bright Horizons West Hill Day Childcare centre and Preschool.

Team are truly compassionate and provide highly great care, my son has for example learned to speak English, counting, singing songs, playing with others and transferring from co-sleeping to cot thanks to the childcare centre! Neat and nice facility and all Covid related pre-cautions taken highly well and seriously. Our son truly enjoys and loves going there! West Hill Bright Horizon childcare centre has been outstanding for our son since he started in November 2020.

I find the new management more attentive and friendlier. I think they are trying their best and it is hard not to notice that. I like new activities and events they offer to kids and regular development assessment meetings. I think that food menu can be improved but overall, I have more self‑assurance in the childcare centre now. Our journey with the childcare centre is much better since it has reopened in July 2020 after the first lockdown.

During his 9 months, he was made to sense loved and secure and we can only hope that we find somewhere else as remarkable, now that we have moved out of town. The manager is fantastic and consistently helped to solve problems and make life as easy as possible and two of the team members, in particular, have a perfect blend of kindness and patience, while still running a relatively tight ship. To see our little boy’s face light up when we dropped him off (and when we picked him up), made us sense so much happier in our decision to start sending him when he was only 5 months old. We truly couldn’t suggest this childcare centre and its team any higher! We couldn’t have been happier with our son’s time at Bright Horizons (West Hill).

If your kid is already here take them out and find them a new, better place. Let’s start from the fact that the childcare centre manager had not been present since February. And by saying it, I mean nobody has seen him since then. We have been told that he was unwell and that he was in the hospital. Well, it’s been 7 months since then. That place was terrible, we all knew it but, my son was making friends and even though the childcare centre was a mess I didn’t want to take him away from them. There is a lot of stories to tell, but I think the main message is that this place must get better or you all need to take your kids away. So now my kid goes to school and I already have been told that he is far behind all the other kids. I mean this breaks my heart. He is such a great boy. I have been asked by his teacher what he did all these years in preschool! This is not a great place for your kid development. They do nothing with them! Stay away! Please do not send your kid here.

I have been able to keep open and trustworthy updates channels about my son’s care and well-being with both the manager and deputy manager. Special thanks to one team member in particular, who was in charge of my son’s transition from the onset and their relationship continues to flourish even though he’s moved on to the toddler’s room. Two other team members both continue to update me about my son’s daily care and I have consistently seen the two interact with my son in a positive manner. Thank you all highly much. Consistently greeted warmly with a smile by all team members.

I would suggest to any parent to bring their kid to Bright Horizons especially Bright Horizons Westhill. Bright Horizon West Hill have been exceptionally supportive and the services to my kid have been absolutely incredible.

This has been a tough year and knowing my daughter was cheerful and loved going to childcare centre was priceless. The team go above and beyond and have made a huge impact on my daughter and her development. The care and dedication they show towards the kids and parents is second to none and myself and my husband are incredibly grateful for all their efforts. A fantastic, fantastic childcare centre. I cannot suggest Bright Horizons West Hill Day Childcare centre and Preschool enough.

The team are welcoming and welcoming. Management is trying hard to make it better, though it is difficult to please all of the parents at such a large childcare centre. Our kid has been highly cheerful going there, and we have been highly cheerful with the team we talk to. The facilities are new and spacious.

The care from the day to day team has consistently been highly great, so I’m glad this has continued. My little boy is highly cheerful there. The care from the fairly new management team is outstanding, and we have noticed a significant improvement since the management has changed.

Two of my kids were seriously injured at the childcare centre more than once (requiring A&E’s assistance). I have raised the matter with the management team which seems unfazed and no further actions were taken. Furthermore, there is a big turnover of team that is not beneficial in terms of consistency and continuity, and most of the best employees have left. Recently they have repurposed the kids’s art room and kitchen to replace by office space for their admin team and even though the fact that they are reducing the kid’s facilities they increase their childcare centre fees by approx £200. Overall the service is not satisfactory and I am currently researching alternative options. The childcare centre team does not take the health and safety of the kids highly seriously.

It is a bit further away from where we live but I still wanted to take my daughter there as the facilities are outstanding, highly modern and spotless. There is a separate garden for each age group and the team are highly nice, thumbs up to two members of team in the baby room! The two managers are also highly supportive. My daughter seems highly cheerful there. Overall, a highly positive journey and I highly recommended childcare centre. I believe Bright Horizons West Hill Childcare centre and Preschool is a hidden gem in the Putney and Wandsworth area.

She has been so cheerful there that when it was closed during the first lockdown she would ask when she could go back to see her friends. The team are absolutely remarkable and do so much for the kids with lots of exciting activities and celebrations. My daughter started when she was just one, she is now nearly three and she is such a cheerful, confident little girl who runs in through the door without even turning her head to say goodbye because she is so pleased to be there. I am delighted with her development. This is a remarkable childcare centre with outstanding team. The new management team are so committed and doing a excellent job. I would hate anyone to be put off by the earlier reviews as the previous issues just don’t exist anymore. I would suggest it without hesitation. We are so grateful to all the lovely team at Bright Horizons West Hill Day Childcare centre and Preschool for everything they have done for my daughter since she started there in July 2019.

After lockdown, I was quite anxious about his return to childcare centre after spending so much time at home (especially because we don’t speak English at home and he is at the stage of discovering how to communicate better). The team couldn’t have been more welcoming and prepared for the kids’s return. I am truly cheerful with our decision to have him go back to childcare centre. He has learned so much and is now so cheerful when he goes into the childcare centre every morning. The new manager has also been a excellent addition to the team and a real driving force in improving updates between parents and childcare centre team during these difficult times. My son has been going to West Hill Bright Horizons since he was 9 months old (he is now 2 years old) and I am quite cheerful with his journey.
