September 1, 2024 at 3:02 amOne of the most important things for me has consistently been the attitudes of the team and how cheerful my kids are. Alpha Steps seem to have a knack for hiring attentive team who you are confident leaving your kids with. Some of the team have been there for many years so they too must be cheerful with the family-like atmosphere. My kids have consistently been well attended by team who know them well and care about them and most importantly they consistently seemed highly cheerful at Alpha Steps. We have had both our kids at Alpha Steps for a total of seven years.

September 9, 2024 at 10:20 pmThe setting feels highly homely, with stimulating activities around the room. My kid has progressed highly well and enjoys the walk to the childcare centre every morning. She has built highly great relationships, and I am pleased with the overall updates and the care my kid receives at Alpha Steps. The team are highly nurturing and welcoming.

September 12, 2024 at 9:24 pmMy daughter is consistently excited to go to childcare centre and whenever I pick her up I would ask questions how was her day and she will respond fine. I am guessing this is due to the assistance she’s getting from all the educators. Highly welcoming and welcoming.

October 13, 2024 at 2:27 amBoth kids were and are incredibly cheerful there and have been stimulated, made great friends and are consistently cheerful to go in. Would highly suggest it as a place to send your kids! My daughter went here from 2020-2022, and my son is currently here from the baby room and moving up into the toddler room.

October 29, 2024 at 1:47 amThe team are so welcoming and you can tell they truly care for him. He is highly cheerful at drop off/pick up and enjoys being there. They do a variety of activities and have lots of outdoor playtime which is excellent. We get daily updates as to what he is up to, his naps etc. We couldn’t fault our journey with the childcare centre and would suggest. Could potentially do with having some more nutritional snacks/dinners on the menus but understand this can be difficult Our son has been going to Alpha Steps Childcare centre for 6 months now and absolutely loves it.

October 30, 2024 at 2:31 amManagement is terrible and team turnover is exceptionally high. My son had so many accidents/incidents that I threatened to report to local authorities. The quality of team is highly mixed and there is clearly favourability to different kids this is because kids of management also attend. The problem here is that generally the team are nice and mean well but the management is so poor that we had to take our son out for his own well being and development. The fees are also highly high considering what you get in return and the management tends to not consistently tell the truth in regards to offering 30 hours free etc. This childcare centre was the only one with places to offer when we were originally looking and now we see why. Please think twice before considering them for your kid. Highly poor!

My daughter comes home cheerful and loves her childcare centre. Cheerful mummy here x My daughter has attended Alpha Steps Childcare centre since last year November 2022, I must say as a mother I was quite sceptical about placing her at childcare centre at first, however after our first show around, I had no doubt about placing her straight away at Alpha Steps.

December 23, 2024 at 12:12 amThe team were fab, they were so attentive and were able to cater for his needs. I would definitely suggest this childcare centre. He was in preschool and he was able to have 1 to 1 sessions with a maths and French teacher who prepared him for reception. My son attended Alpha Steps Childcare centre, he had the best care, he thoroughly enjoyed coming to childcare centre.

January 1, 2025 at 1:19 amI must admit the childcare centre has come a long way, there has been a dramatic development in the staffing and management from when we first started. My daughter was exceptionally cheerful at the childcare centre and was able to develop beyond her initial developmental stage. She received excellent care and I will be bringing my new baby to the childcare centre in November. I would definitely suggest it. My daughter attended Alpha Steps for 2 years before she went to school.

January 2, 2025 at 8:58 pmWe have been, on the whole, highly cheerful with the care she has received at the childcare centre. The team are inviting and lovely, plus the childcare centre is on the smaller side so it seems highly familiar and like a close-knit community. My daughter is due to leave preschool knowing her letters, how to write her name and basic maths, so completely ready to start school. The recent refurb means the childcare centre looks excellent, bright and airy, and like a enjoyable place to playtime. The only issue we’ve had over the years is updates which can be up and down – a lot of this was due to Covid and team shortages, however, team have consistently been highly responsive when I have chased specific things. On the whole, I would highly suggest Alpha Steps. My daughter has been at Alpha Steps since she was 16 months old and is now about to graduate from the preschool room to start reception.

I am also cheerful that the childcare centre caters for vegans, which is important to my family and me. I sense that the childcare centre provides a secure and nurturing setting for young kids, and I am grateful for the care and attention that the team members give to each kid. I have self‑assurance that my son is in outstanding hands while he’s there.
I would definitely suggest Alpha Steps to other parents looking for a reliable and attentive childcare centre. My son started attending Alpha Steps a few weeks ago when he was 11 months old, and although he had some initial settling-in struggles, the team members have been incredibly supportive and understanding throughout.

March 16, 2025 at 7:36 amShe is enjoying her time there. The team are highly expert and welcoming. I like the facilities that this childcare centre has. I want to underline the outside area; kids are excited to playtime outside, especially when it’s nice weather. The rooms are newly renovated and highly spotless too. This is the second year that my daughter is attending this childcare centre.

April 12, 2025 at 10:20 amOur eldest son started attending this childcare centre in September 2018, and our youngest son has now been attending for just over two years, so our involvement now stretches to nearly five years.
We are delighted with the recent refurbishment of the childcare centre, including the outside space – whilst the outside space is relatively small (this is London), it is well-used, and team make sure outside playtime is incorporated every day. The indoor spaces are bright and fresh. Our son is highly cheerful going to the childcare centre; his key workers clearly know him well and understand his needs. He loves going on ‘trips’, and they go for regular excursions to the local library or the park.
Over the course of our being involved with the childcare centre, updates has improved materially – to the extent that I would now say it is great. They use an app for updating parents on each day’s activities, food, toileting, etc. I would have gone with 4.5 if an option!

He responds well to all the team and his key worker has truly taken the time to get to know him and is invested in engaging the kids in various stimulating activities throughout each day. Our son also highly much enjoys his sessions with the external sports coach and Makaton teacher. The parent coffee mornings and term newsletters have been a welcome development and we are pleased with the overall updates. We would definitely suggest Alpha Steps to other parents looking for a reliable and attentive childcare centre. We are highly pleased with the secure and attentive setting that has been fostered at Alpha Steps Childcare centre.

May 5, 2025 at 5:46 pmIt was her 1st childcare centre, and she absolutely loved the journey. My daughter was so attached to me that I was worried about how she’s gonna settle down in a childcare centre, especially because she didn’t know English that well, we speak Romanian at home, and she knew highly little how to speak English, but thanks to the team member who consistently offered her assistance, she managed highly well, in a fairly short time. They understood her needs and likes and made every effort to keep her cheerful, and at the same time, worked hard to develop her socially and academically… they engaged kids in various activities.
I appreciate their efforts and hard work. They gave more than 100% to all parents and kids.
I wish all the best to all the team! Outstanding place for my daughter, who started out here.

May 29, 2025 at 9:01 pmWe are highly cheerful with the educators, they are lovely and it seems our kid is highly cheerful to spend time with them too. Also, we highly appreciate we are able to see through the app what our kid does, eats and how long they sleep. We are highly cheerful with Alpha Steps. My kid joined Alpha Steps last September in the baby room, the team have been highly supportive to us and my partner and I see the development in motor skills, social skills and the self‑assurance gained in new spaces.

The childcare centre is currently undergoing a complete refurb – we are excited to see the new space and the new outdoor area for the kids to use. My daughter has been at the childcare centre for 6 months now and truly enjoys herself there.
