November 26, 2015 at 12:00 amGenerally, I am very happy with Asquith Chingford Nursery. The staff are very welcoming towards myself and my son. I feel his language and social skills have greatly improved since he has started nursery and he is happy there. There were some issues when settling in regarding staff not following certain instructions and also at other times, I feel that not all staff were knowledgeable about medicines protocol but these have been resolved. The issues did not reoccur.

This is the third nursery for our daughter (due to logistics/moving) but this has been the first where she hasn’t screamed as I leave her in the morning! I feel as though her learning, development and social skills have increased so quickly. It is always so lovely to walk into the nursery where the staff and kids are always friendly and happy. Couldn’t be happier.

August 3, 2017 at 12:00 amOur son has been in the baby rooms for the last 5 months and has just moved into the toddler room.
We paid a visit to the nursery just after the new leadership team were in place, from first impressions, through settling in sessions to now, it has exceeded our expectations. All the staff are professional, enthusiastic, hardworking and genuinely lovely people, who are clearly led very well.
The development we have seen in our boy has been wonderful but most importantly we have no doubt he is very happy in his surroundings 3 days a week at nursery.
Finally, I have given a high rating for value for money, it’s certainly expensive and other nurseries are cheaper but given how impressed we have been I think it deserves its rating.

May 16, 2018 at 12:00 amMy daughter loves the nursery and the staff. They are constantly thinking about her development as well as her day to day welfare. Standards are extremely high and I would highly recommend this nursery.

May 16, 2018 at 12:00 amOnly took two sessions for my two year old to settle in here and she still loves coming 2.5 years later and that’s down to the caring and professional staff. There are lots for her to do and she especially likes playing in the garden. It’s the perfect location for commuting into the city but also easy parking which is a big help. Very pleased with Chingford Pre-School!

The staff are really friendly, caring and helpful.
The staff made us feel really welcome and comfortable from our 1st visit. Our son even felt relaxed enough to play a little on our 1st visit to see the nursery and we knew it was the right place for him.
The staff and management have been really accommodating to his needs and I feel this has made the settling in process easier for him and for us.
All the staff work really hard to get to know your child and their needs to make them feel as safe and comfortable as they can in an environment that is away from home.
We feel that our son is already benefiting from the time he has spent in this nursery.

May 16, 2018 at 12:00 amMy son has been here since December in the baby room 3 days a week. From the very beginning, I have been extremely happy with all the staff and the nursery.
Any concerns I had about leaving him at nursery were soon erased by the professional and caring staff. As with most children, he was a little unsure to start but he got used to it very quickly which was due to the patience and kindness of the staff in the baby room. Now he is happy at drop off and at pick up, so I can be assured he has had a good day
There is also an excellent understanding of my child’s needs and a very clear communication about my child’s day.
The manager and assistant manager are also very approachable, friendly and professional which means you feel you can always ring them with any queries or concerns

June 6, 2018 at 12:00 amMy son was a little unsettled at the beginning when he first started but the lovely staff in baby room, helped him to settle in and they also helped me because I was worried about leaving him on his own, he was so much better after a couple of weeks – that was all thanks to the amazing staff in the nursery that made the effort to help him.

Since my son started in the baby room, he has been cared for to a high standard by staff, which have been absolutely fantastic.
To find a nursery that really cares for your child is priceless.

They are so lovely and caring, and you can tell they are genuinely passionate about the service they provide. They have made my child’s transition to nursery wonderful, for both her and myself. She always comes home having had lots of fun, but is always clean and looks well looked after.

February 22, 2021 at 12:00 amOur son has been attending the nursery for almost two years. He can be quite shy at times and take a while to warm up to different environments and people, but he loves his nursery class.
The classroom staff are brilliant, they are caring, thoughtful and kind.
During the pandemic, the nursery has been very careful and also very accommodating of parent’s needs and circumstances.

March 2, 2021 at 12:00 amOur daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old. She’s now moved up through 3 different rooms and we have always found the staff in each room very thoughtful, attentive and caring. We receive detailed feedback each day, about what she was doing, eating and how she was feeling. The list of activities children do each day is varied and interesting. The toys are of high quality, predominantly wooden, Montessori-style. Children spend time outside most days, with a different play area dedicated to different age groups. The only thing that springs to mind that could be improved is the decor – it’s a bit tired and some rooms seem small/crowded. To me, it’s of secondary importance compared to the other points listed above.

I cannot speak highly enough of the team there. They are caring and smart. The children are safe, happy and learn lots. Their direct keyworkers are exceptional, and the management team there are equally involved.

December 1, 2021 at 12:00 amThe staff go above and beyond to make sure my daughter enjoys coming to nursery. Activities are exciting and fun daily. The app updates me on my child’s day which is reassuring too. The staff in the toddler room are friendly and warm.

December 2, 2021 at 12:00 amOur son has been attending Bright Horizon Chingford since Feb 2021 when he was around 9 months old he began settling. Unfortunately due to COVID policies, we have been unable to see inside the nursery since we toured it before little one was born. Last week, the nursery held an open day and it was amazing. So clean, bright and tidy inside. My son seems to really enjoy nursery. He goes two days a week and leaves smiling each day. The staff are so lovely especially those in the baby room. They have really taken my son under their wing and I feel like they know him so well. I am a natural worrier and I tend to worry and ponder about my son most of the time I am not with him. However, the nursery now use an app where you can see exactly what your child is up to in a day! I absolutely love it and it is so reassuring. I must also mention the food is great! I would really recommend this nursery.

December 2, 2021 at 12:00 amThe nursery’s complete refurbishment is great – the interior and garden are all now top-notch and just what I expect in a nursery. The Bright Horizons team are a great support – all through the lockdowns and now as we’re back into the new normal. Communications are always clear and supportive – and the new app is a great way of sharing conversation topics with my daughter about her activities during the day. All members of the team work hard to make sure we’re talking about the right things, as they come up – and also offering a great insight into the inner world of the nursery (to allow a parental perspective).
