December 15, 2015 at 12:00 amBeing a primary school teacher myself, I think I was extra fussy when choosing a nursery for my children. I felt a huge sense of relief when I entered Blossoms as it really was perfect.
The teachers are incredibly warm and knowledgeable and put my daughters and I at ease immediately. The nursery manages to be both relaxed but organised which creates an extremely calm and purposeful atmosphere. They provide appropriate activities for all ages which are challenging and exciting. I couldn’t recommend this nursery highly enough. I am so glad that we found it!

December 16, 2015 at 12:00 amThe staff are lovely, very caring and seem to be in tune with what the kids need and want. They learn so much without even realizing they are learning. I didn’t realise a nursery could be so calm, all the kids are lovely. The extra things they do – French, yoga, cooking, Forest School. The list is endless. I could not be happier and could not recommend it higher.

December 18, 2015 at 12:00 amI’m so happy that both of my children have had the experience of going to such a wonderful nursery. They create a nurturing, stimulating environment where I really feel that children thrive. Kids from 2-4 years old are all grouped together so they learn from each other. Other Blossoms parents- past and present- have often commented on how you can often spot a Blossoms child, they tend to be happy, confident, kind children, and they go to school with a great base in reading, writing and maths. The teachers also genuinely care about the kids.

March 30, 2016 at 12:00 amBoth my children have absolutely thrived at Blossoms. It’s a lovely nurturing environment that really adheres to Montessori principles by creating a space for the children to develop and explore the world through their own eyes.
I am happy to thoroughly recommend it.

May 19, 2016 at 12:00 amBlossoms Montessori Children’s House is a highly regarded asset to our area in London. Our daughter has been attending for a year and a half and enjoys going and enjoys the prospect of going. We as parents appreciate the high level of communication detailing the terms activities and also the opportunity to be involved at home or at the nursery itself. Bond between teacher and children is strong, the environment is very well organised, stimulating as well as feeling home from home. An extremely caring and nurturing environment where we feel our daughter has had the opportunity to flourish at her own pace and with the right amount of encouragement. Activities are well planned and engaging. Cannot recommend Blossoms Montessori Children’s House highly enough in every area.

May 19, 2016 at 12:00 amI found out about Blossom’s through another Mum and the moment my son and I walked through the door we felt welcome and at home. My son loved nursery from the first day and had no problems settling in. The staff are calm and nurturing, gently spoken and encouraging. They carry out a range of activities from baking bread inside to playing in the mud kitchen outside to weekly forest school days in warmer weather. The staff have a real passion for their work and manage to inspire and engage the parents to create a friendly community. Some out standing activities/ moments during the nursery year include two, three and four year olds performing a nativity play and the mini Olympics or sports day, a fun well organised day for all the children and parents. My son will be starting school in September already has good grounding in literacy and numeracy thanks to the fun learning activities and the patient one-to-sessions he has. He also takes French classes and Yoga sessions.

November 28, 2016 at 12:00 amBlossoms Montessori Children’s House is a wonderful nursery/pre-school. The staff work hard to ensure all the children’s needs are met and go above and beyond their duties on a consistent basis. This means the children are well cared for, happy and stimulated in an atmosphere conducive to learning.
There are constantly evolving activities in all areas of learning. Children divide their time between playing outside and inside in a wonderful, homely environment. I would highly recommend Blossoms Montessori Nursery.

April 5, 2017 at 12:00 amBlossoms Montessori is a creative, caring and stimulating environment. The children do a wide range of activities including craft, cooking, storytelling, gardening, singing and French. The resources for phonics, numbers, geometry and geography are excellent. My eldest son spent three years here before going to school and left being able to read, having a grasp of the world and continents and having a keen interest in maths. The children also have plenty of free play time with toys and equipment both indoors and outdoors. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

July 14, 2017 at 12:00 amMy son has been so happy here at Blossoms Montessori Children’s House. Over the last 2 years, we have found it such a nurturing environment with a clear passion and wonderful understanding of Montessori learning. The staff are so attentive and open for both the children and parents. It is so creative and fun. I can’t better a more brilliant start for my son as he heads up to ‘big school’. Reception stage reporting of the child’s progress is extremely thorough and clear.

December 8, 2020 at 12:00 amBlossoms is a local secret and an institution that it is widely respected – including by many of the top schools in Dulwich. My mum (who ran a nursery and pre-school) pointed out that the small setting was very clean and orderly; staff were warm but also reassuringly expert. I noticed the same and was very impressed by the first development review for our son. An entire room had been set out in preparation, I thought, for a class. But it turned out every object was there to explain to me how our son interacts with them, his development, and areas on which to focus. The manager and her team are friendly, kind, and always professional. Our son quickly trusted them and looked forward to going to Blossoms. In a happy, stimulating, and safe setting, he quickly developed his vocabulary, fine motor skills, counting, and social skills. He is now settled in a competitive school in Dulwich and is thriving. It’s very easy to recommend Blossoms and I heartily do so.

December 8, 2020 at 12:00 amWe were so happy at Blossoms Montessori Nursery. I don’t think there is a better place for a child to be. The manager and her team have an incredible passion for children and the Montessori way of learning truly make everyone thrive. We loved the small group size, the mix of older and younger children and the child-led learning. It really brought out the best in our son. We loved following our son’s progress via the Montessori website and were amazed by all the things they did ranging from forest school outings, crafts, singing, dancing to baking and cooking. The team at Blossoms are fantastic people and the love, respect and care for the children shines through everything they do. We miss you so much.

December 22, 2020 at 12:00 amMy daughter attended Blossoms Montessori for 3 wonderful years. She continues to speak so fondly of her time there and all the special friendships that she made and were nurtured by her attentive, passionate, highly skilled teachers. The resources, projects and materials were all so well thought through and enhanced the children’s learning experiences. A lot of what she learned there is yet to be covered by the school. Montessori learning not only imbued my daughter with confidence but, also helped to develop her self-esteem and inquisitive mind with forest school, yoga, French, art, singing, dance to name but a few of the activities Blossoms provides. The children are taught how to respect and care for one another, which creates a noticeably, peaceful happy environment. This is a nursery school that celebrates childhood and exploration. My daughter flourished at Blossoms, and I will always be so grateful to the teachers for providing her with such a wonderful start; I highly recommend it.

April 6, 2021 at 12:00 amI honestly can’t speak highly enough of the manager and her team at Blossoms Montessori Children’s House. It really is a very special nursery, what they provide isn’t just ‘childcare’ but the way everything is run is really considered, planned and delivered for the benefit of the child. They are so patient with the children, kind and calm. The nursery itself has such a wonderfully homely environment. They do so many activities such as cooking, crafts and all the traditions and rituals they keep are really lovely. The daily rhythm is really lovely, they all eat lunch together, learning to pour out the milk themselves, loading the dishwasher and helping themselves to fruit during the day. They really make a big deal out of their birthdays and all festivals through the year, meaning that every week there is some magic happening there. My son absolutely thrived at Blossoms Montessori Children’s House and loved everything about it and I felt very confident leaving him there. Particularly because there are a small number of properly trained ethics.

April 13, 2022 at 12:00 amMy sons attended Blossoms Montessori for 2 years before they started Reception. It is a wonderful, nurturing nursery led by a delightful staff team who are very passionate about Montessori methods. My children both thrived at Blossoms – they ran in every day, took part in some incredible activities and made great friends. The Montessori resources ensured they were appropriately challenged and their unique interests were taken into account. It is a very happy, calm place with a warm and friendly vibe. They attended forest school, went on lovely visits and had special guests in to talk to them. I have no hesitation in recommending Blossoms to other parents, we miss it so much!
