September 24, 2024 at 9:42 pmI joined when it opened after moving my kid from another corporate chain childcare centre and have been there for two years.
The team genuinely care and loves the kids and management is consistently looking for ways to improve and exceed expectations with regard to kid development. My kid has thrived.
If there are issues, management are swift to respond with meetings, parent evenings and feedback forums. Plans to implement things for the better are quickly put in place. I have only had positive experiences with this childcare centre.

November 21, 2024 at 11:07 amTeam are highly expert – from the management team at the front to all the key workers in the rooms. In the preschool room, the team are highly qualified and provide a range of activities that are engaging and interesting and I know my son will be more than ready for school due to the well-planned curriculum. Forest School and a range of trips into central London have been highlights. I would not hesitate to suggest this childcare centre to another parent. My son is highly cheerful at this childcare centre.

December 30, 2024 at 3:57 pmThe team are welcoming, hard-working and highly attentive. Our kid has grown to become a confident toddler and is stretched every day to communicate better and learn new skills. The Montessori approach suits us as we assistance our kid’s choices and independent discovering. In addition, the food is high quality, no preservatives and cooked on site. The costs are high, but it does include everything needed each day (food, nappies, lots of resources, weekly yoga teacher, etc) alongside expert educators. I would suggest visiting this childcare centre to see the lovely building and team. Our kid enjoys every day at the childcare centre and is part of a highly special family by attending here.

January 5, 2025 at 4:13 pmThe space and facilities are outstanding, including a tropical fish tank, a garden with huge sand and water areas and a Swedish hut where they toast marshmallows and read stories by twinkly lights. The team in the rooms are highly trained Montessori practitioners and the care and passion they have for the kids are palpable. The range of activities seems endless. This week the kids were taken in small groups to China Town to learn about Lunar New Year. They are constantly surrounded by interesting discovering opportunities and, at nearly four, my son can have such intelligent conversations. The childcare centre is incredibly well managed and the team turnover is highly low, which I think says a huge amount as it’s rare in this industry. They have weekly forest school sessions, visit the local shops and library regularly and learn about their setting and community. My son is so cheerful there. My son has attended this childcare centre since it opened and is now in the preschool room.

February 28, 2025 at 2:59 pmMy son has been attending The Grove Montessori for over a year now and I have been so impressed. The team are incredible and I sense so comfortable leaving him there. The manager is a exceptional manager, she is so inviting and welcoming. The team in my son’s room are just remarkable, all the activities they do he truly has learnt so much from being at The Grove. His speech has truly come on. Thank you to The Grove, I truly appreciate all you have done for him. What an incredible childcare centre.

March 3, 2025 at 8:08 pmIt is a truly inviting and welcoming childcare centre, with exceptional facilities. The team put excellent effort into the kids’s discovering, with varied activities within and outside the childcare centre setting – weekly yoga, music and forest school, and trips to museums, shops, parks, library, train station and more. Kids are exposed to various cultures and languages and gain real life skills. You can tell that the team genuinely delight in working with kids and truly care about them as individuals. Even team who don’t directly work with my kids know their names. Management work highly hard. They have created a collaborative parent-childcare centre culture, inviting parents to be part of activities, providing resources for home discovering and holding a regular parent forum. They are receptive to feedback and consistently striving to improve. My kids are so settled and cheerful at The Grove and growing in self‑assurance all the time. Highly suggest it! My two kids have been attending The Grove Montessori for 16 months.

March 23, 2025 at 1:07 pmHowever the management is poor, and procedures are poorly implemented leaving me as a parent to question the care. My kids had some lovely experiences here but after some terrible experiences with management, I decided to remove them and use alternative childcare which has been the best decision for our family.
I am highly curious/concerned there are no other reviews. We attended this setting for 2 years from opening. This childcare centre has the potential to be incredible with some fantastic team.

April 16, 2025 at 10:38 pmOutstanding all-round. A exceptional setting staffed by hard-working and compassionate-hearted team that have looked after our kid for the last two years.
Our kid is cheerful, engaged and has made excellent friends in a supportive setting that facilitates his development greatly.

April 25, 2025 at 7:05 amThe quality of team is incredible which is a stand-out feature compared to other nurseries I visited. Although the childcare centre struggles from time to time with team turnover like the entire industry, each room has had long-term permanent team who have been there from the start which is fantastic for the kids for attachment and assistance. I would also add that the temporary team that have been used are also regulars and I have found them to be lovely and of high quality. My son is highly cheerful at the childcare centre and has excelled in his development since joining, I sense cheerful leaving him there each day knowing he is secure and loved. The facilities are new and to a high standard which is an added bonus. I would highly suggest My son has attended The Grove since it opened in April 2021 and has experienced every room as he has got older.

June 2, 2025 at 2:30 pmHaving a year off and returning to work was giving me anxiety but having met the manager and the team I felt comfortable to do so. As a mother (like you will all know) it’s so hard to leave your kid with strangers.

June 8, 2025 at 6:57 pmI am also a parent and grandparent and have journey with two other nurseries. I am a governor of a primary school.
I have had a grandchild in each room at The Grove and their experiences have been highly different. The team are incredible, they work incredibly hard, they know the kids well and are passionate about the work they do! The management is positive, passionate, open, transparent and genuinely want to listen to stakeholders if there are any concerns, observations or areas to improve. They listen, reflect and take appropriate action.
My grandchildren are highly cheerful, they adore the team, have appropriate relationships and have made development in relation to discovering and their social development. As a retired headteacher and having worked in education in a variety of areas, including London, and also having worked as an education consultant in London – in childcare centre, infant/primary settings I believe I have the journey to write a review of The Grove, Montessori.
