July 29, 2016 at 12:00 amStaff looking after my daughter are really nice but will be leaving due to increase of nursery fees by 20%. When asked why such increase was told it was in line with local nurseries but on investigation this is not the case (local nurseries are much cheaper before such increase) and when I explained this was told “okie dokie let me know what you decide” this is not a professional response. I was also invoiced incorrectly and when I queried I was told it was correct when in fact it wasn’t and I had to explain why for it to be resolved. I hope the staff that do the caring are getting a decent pay rise with such an increase in fares but I doubt this is the case.

February 7, 2017 at 12:00 amFriendly, warm, welcoming team. My daughter has been attending since she was 10 months old and I has really got on well with all of her key workers and other team members. I can see that she is learning and happy. She tells me her new phrases and I loved listening to her sing nursery rhymes and gesture as she sings. My daughter is nearly 2 and when you spend so much time as a work, it feels reassuring to know that such positive and warm people (both catering and caretaker team) are surrounding my daughter.

November 30, 2018 at 12:00 amI would recommend Fennies Purley due to the high quality of staff/care, activities/development and quality of food. It is very well managed an organised. I have always felt at ease knowing my son is happy there. The only drawback is the lack of parking – however to me this wasn’t an important factor when you consider against quality of staff etc.

December 18, 2018 at 12:00 amOur son has been at Fennies now for 12 months, moving from babies to preschool. At each level, we have been impressed at the high levels of care and attention from all the staff. It is great to see him continuing to develop and enjoy such a great and nurturing environment. Very high standards. Love Tapestry as well to be able to interact and see all the fun things the kids get up to.

January 30, 2019 at 12:00 amFennies has been fantastic for my twins. They have been so well looked after by their key workers and it’s such a lovely setting, the staff are very friendly and they have really good activities planned for the children every day. Tapestry is a nice addition, so you can check in and see pictures of what the children are up to. Their key workers also leave notes to let us know what they’ve been working on, particularly good as my twins have been slow to talk. I would highly recommend this nursery.

September 12, 2019 at 12:00 amMy daughter has just left Fennies Purley, after 4 years. She started in the baby room at 10 months old and worked her way through all the rooms. I highly recommend this nursery, the care in all rooms has been fantastic, the staff are friendly, warm and caring. There are excellent facilities and the baby room has its own garden. The range of activities provided in the preschool room was extensive and varied. My daughter enjoyed her nursery days so much. Tapestry is a brilliant tool and it’s lovely to get photo updates via this when you’re at work. The food and menu are varied and healthy. There are regular parents evenings and other events including the annual summer fun day which is always enjoyed by all. The car park can get busy (particularly at pickup time) and I often found myself parking in a nearby road and walking to nursery, but this is a small inconvenience for a fabulous nursery.

April 30, 2021 at 12:00 amBoth of my daughters started attending at three months old, one is now three years old and the other is a year and a half. The staff are so devoted and nurturing. In return, my children enjoy attending and are positively fond of the team and their friends. We regularly discuss the kids’ development, they give a detailed summary of your child’s day daily and you can also access pictures and videos from your child’s day. Parking is limited but for us, it’s actually within walking distance and it’s easily accessible via public transport.
