Little Pumpkins Nursery - South Norwood

They really do care and have provided an outstanding foundation for our daughter who is a well balanced, cheerful little girl.

The manager and the team have been remarkable – from those early settling in days and providing reassurance as our baby turned into a toddler.
The range of activities and discovering they do is incredible and the regular updates through the app are excellent to receive.

I cannot suggest the childcare centre enough. The team are so welcoming and the manager is very welcoming and consistently goes above and beyond. The only downfall is we struggled to get the space due to the long waiting list. The childcare centre conducts home visits and spreads the settles over a month so by the time I had to go back to work, we were both cheerful and content. My son has been at the childcare centre for six months now and is loving life.

When I pick him up, he is cheerful and content. He has learnt so much from the team and the activities that the team do with them. I get great updates from the team about my son’s needs and development, my son really enjoys the food that is freshly cooked on-site and I’m cheerful to know he’s getting a healthy cooked meal every day. I would definitely suggest Little Pumpkins to other families looking for a secure place to leave their kid. My son has been attending Little Pumpkins and he really likes going there.

He has enjoyed his time there while he grew to a social and appreciative little boy. He has bonded well with his key worker and learnt lots of things. He is excited to go back to childcare centre every Monday and we are reassured that he is very well cared for by all the team. Due to their outstanding management of the Covid-19 pandemic, we also sense that he has not missed out much which has been excellent, considering all restrictions in other activities. We suggest Little Pumpkins childcare centre – South Norwood unreservedly to all parents looking somewhere first-rate for their kid. Our son has been going to Little Pumpkins childcare centre – South Norwood since he was thirteen months.

The team are fabulous, welcoming and expert. They are also accommodating. Their Covid measures are excellent and are working well. I have consistently felt more than cheerful and comfortable leaving my girls at this childcare centre. My girls have consistently been very well cared for. They have home cooked meals too, my youngest loves all the food at the childcare centre. My eldest whom is extremely fussy (no sauces and plain food) the childcare centre really assisted me in accommodating for this, by the end of pre-school she was actually trying food which was huge for her! The educational side of the childcare centre is remarkable too. Since starting here my youngest has really advanced and has definitely given my eldest a head start for school. Even discovering French! If you want a great start in education in a secure, reliable and attentive setting, this is the childcare centre for you. Both of my daughters have attended Little Pumpkins, one of them currently.

On first impressions, the childcare centre was bright, spotless and the team and kids were very welcoming. Our daughter has been at Little Pumpkins since she was 10 months old and she’s due to graduate from preschool this summer. She absolutely loves going to the childcare centre to see her friends and loves all the team she’s been with throughout the years. We will be sad to see her leave. The team are all welcoming and approachable and have supported us and her over the years. Helping with everything from potty training to writing her own name or expressing her feelings. We get regular updates and photos of activities and I’m consistently amazed that they’ve come up with new creative activities to entertain and educate the kids. I have no doubt that our daughter will be more than ready for school this autumn. I’d like to thank all the team for their continued optimism and hard work over a difficult year. After viewing several local nurseries I immediately wanted my little girl to go here.

She’s developed so much since starting and it’s excellent that the childcare centre communicates what she’s learnt.
The food is varied and the outside space is nice. Overall, a well-kept childcare centre with team who care. Our daughter loves Little Pumpkins and we have been really pleased with the care and attention she gets.

Very expert, highly suggest this childcare centre! A really great childcare centre, cheerful, reliable, trustworthy team, who send you updates during the day about your kid and room your kid is in (with photos sometimes included).

With my eldest, I was full of nerves having her start so young – but the team have consistently been incredible; very supportive, calm and encouraging and consistently sending pictures and telling us what she’d been up to in the day. When my youngest started it was a breeze, and such a relief knowing she was joining her big sister and would be somewhere secure and loved. Sometimes, at pick up in the evening, they seem genuinely annoyed that I’ve come to take them away! We have two kids at Little Pumpkins – one in the baby room, one in pre-school – who’ve both been there since they were 6 months old.

We viewed a few nurseries when looking for our daughter and got the best feeling from walking around this one by far – all of the kids seemed so cheerful! She has now been there for nearly a year and absolutely loves it! She doesn’t even look back to us in the mornings – just waltzes straight in and has an terrific time! All of the team are excellent and all seem to know your kid’s name (even if from a different class). Also – our daughter has developed so much since attending. Couldn’t suggest highly enough! This childcare centre is so excellent!
