Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Sidcup

My four-year-old and one-year-old twins attend this nursery and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The management team and all the staff are fantastic – really friendly, knowledgable and they obviously care a great deal for the children. My sons have developed brilliantly since being at Monkey Puzzle. My oldest started when he was 11 months old, and is now more than ready for school. They’ve given him a brilliant start in life, and I’m so pleased we chose to send our children there.

My son has been coming to the nursery since he was 10 months old (he is now almost 3). We couldn’t be happier with how well he has developed and been looked after there. All staff are fantastic and always friendly, my son is happy to go each day. We have been really impressed with how amazing the nursery have been through the covid crisis. The communication is excellent, the team regularly go the extra mile and you know the children are their priority.

I can highly recommend Monkey Puzzle Sidcup. The staff are fantastic, they provide the perfect balance of free play with educational play. It’s been fantastic to watch my son develop over the past year and a half – at 3 and a half years he’s brilliant at numbers and starting to do well with his phonics, which is a credit to the nursery. He has bonded so well with all staff and thoroughly enjoys going to pre-school. Additionally the management are really engaged and committed to creating the best environment and experience for children and parents. They have also handled the challenges of Covid with such professionalism. My son attended another local nursery from 7 months to 1 and a half years and switching nurseries was the best decision – I couldn’t be happier.

We are extremely happy to have sent our little boy to Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Sidcup. They have wonderful staff and they understand the child’s needs. I only wish the baby section was a little bit bigger, however they compensate this by the lovely gardens that they have.

Both my children attend Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Sidcup, one in Darwin & one in The Baby Room. I am very happy with how our children have been looked after. The staff are always friendly, helpful and the lengths they go to to set up themes and activities in the rooms is lovely to see. So far this year, both children have watched ducklings and butterflies hatch, met budgies, my eldest has attended Forest school which she loved and she can now count confidently to ten and has started to trace numbers with her finger when reading. My eldest now talks about her friends at home and it’s great to receive picture and video updates on the app, so I can see what fun she is having. The staff were really supportive with potty training and have helped her prepare for entering the preschool year, she can now put on her own coat and shoes too. She once had a febrile seizure at nursery, something I’d not had experience of before and the staff handled the situation well, making sure she was okay and calling an ambulance for her.

My little one started at Monkey Puzzle in Sidcup this year and after a tricky year with COVID lockdowns etc as parents, we were very anxious about the whole situation.

Monkey Puzzle at Sidcup did everything possible to put our minds at ease and from day one until now our little boy looks at this as his second home and loves going.

The staff are all so friendly, warm and approachable. Nothing asked ever seems too much trouble. And seeing how happy our son is going in makes it all worthwhile!

To say we highly recommend this nursery would be an understatement, the staff here have supported us through our sons settling in, speech and language delay and also in toilet training too. They all deserve a medal for the work they do here!

We have had a great experience sending our daughter to Monkey Puzzle Sidcup. The team there are fantastic, the communication from the whole team, including management, has been great and really helped us to feel comfortable and part of the Monkey Puzzle Family.

Our daughter loves coming to nursery in the morning and has made so many friends. She has learned so much in terms of language, counting, creativity and physical development. The nursery arranges extra activities like forest school and sports lessons. She has bonded with her key workers and all the staff, we would thoroughly recommend the nursery!

We have had 2 children attend Monkey Puzzle Sidcup over the past 4 years.
All of the staff are amazing, friendly and genuinely care about all of the children. Both of my children have bonded well with their keyworkers and staff in each of the rooms. Even the chef knows the kid’s names and stops to have a chat. We get regular updates through the parent app including observations of what the kids have been doing on their learning journey, a daily diary, they send reports and have parents evenings. They give feedback, guidance and support in all areas including potty training. The management are very responsive and send out regular newsletters and messages. The kids do so many activities and learn so much. My son recently left to start school and not only did they give the kids an amazing “graduation” send off but more importantly they helped prepare him to be ready for school. My son has settled into his new school amazingly and a lot of this is thanks to Monkey Puzzle Sidcup and for which we are so grateful!

Our daughter attended Monkey Puzzle Sidcup for the last few years and recently left to start school. We were very sad to leave and know she misses all her friends and carers immensely. The nursery has great facilities, was focused on creating the right learning journey for our child and importantly the staff and management are fantastic. They have all helped our daughter to grow into a wonderful independent little girl, so thank you!
