October 26, 2024 at 9:14 pmA huge Well done. But overall, amazed. The only negative we find is we are being asked to offer nappies which should already be included in the fairly pricy fee. The tool being used. Professional employees. Super clean. Happy space. Real care not pretentious. Love to our youngster. Kindness. Excellent service.

They do a lot of messy and sensory play, singing songs and creative stuff, and my little girl is consistently excited to go in every morning. The team are truly remarkable and create such a nurturing space for the kids. The classes are small so that the kids are well looked after. The day‑care is set in a lovely former church, which makes it extremely unique. When we visited the local nurseries, we found that Scribbles was the most homely of them all, which we truly liked. My little girl has been at Scribbles ever since January( she was 13- months then), and she absolutely adores it.

November 24, 2024 at 10:49 pmWe are incredibly thankful and would strongly suggest this day‑care to any parent! She able’ t wait to meet up with her new friends and learn new skills with the team. Our little girl absolutely adores going to day‑care! 6 months have passed and the unimaginable has happened. We knew settling in would not be easy for our little girl as she was used to spending time with us at home, but the team did everything they might to help her sense at ease. We might not speak more strongly of the day‑care team at the Little Garden Finchley Day Nursery.

December 12, 2024 at 10:24 pmI just adore everything about this day‑care! Each evening the teachers find the time to talk with us guardians and tell us how our kids have been doing. I have seen a terrific development in my kid in just 2 months he has been going to day‑care! They do many sessions everyday and they are development so much. I adore that each week the kids are exploring a new topic.

January 10, 2025 at 6:01 pmThis measure is there to protect the kids and the team that look after them. It is in a way, the’ new’ normal. Personally, I think it is fine to wait, just need to factor that time in when we go drop- off/ pick- up. So often during busy times, a little queuing outside might be required. Due to Covid, guardians are not allowed inside the day‑care for drop- off/ pick- up. change of clothes, cream), menus and if they are planning something special at the day‑care like dressing up for Halloween or an outing. It’ s a wonderful way of telling us if the day‑care needs more things for him( i. e. It is easy to use and gives us updates on a daily basis of what our little boy has been up to. The app they use is terrific! We like that they are open- minded and flexible when it comes to reusable nappies and often help us do our bit for the planet. The team are patient and understanding when it comes to our little boy( now 15- months- old), and they have been remarkable in helping him settle into day‑care. We are extremely delighted with Scribbles.

The place is tidy and clean, the team is absolutely remarkable, they give so much adore and care for the kids, I know my baby is being cuddled and played with constantly and she absolutely adores going there, full of smiles and laughs when I bring her in. I have my 1 year old at The Finchley Day Nursery& Pre- School and had my 5 years old little boy there for 3 years, which is already proof of how much I appreciate this place.

She has been there for about 4 months now. She had a special bond with her key workers and has settled there incredibly well and quickly. My little girl is 2 and absolutely adores going to day‑care.

The day‑care has a genuine family sense and everyone made us sense so welcome from the extremely first day. I couldn’ t have found a better day‑care for my little girl to attend.

February 18, 2025 at 8:45 amStaff are approachable and open which makes it a marvellous place to leave our babies at each day. We get a daily log and photos of the sessions covered. Our kids have had the same key members throughout which is hugely important as I know many nurseries with regular team turnover. Since joining in August 2022, the day‑care has employed additional members of team. They host special Mother’ s/ Father’ s Day breakfasts and many other events which guardians are welcome to. They do all the typical sessions you would expect but also make huge efforts to celebrate festivals of different faiths and key dates in the year. This happened extremely quickly as the team are all extremely warm, calm and attentive. At this early age, our main aim was to have the babies part from us every morning feeling delighted and at ease in the environment. We visited a few nurseries in the area and truly liked the family sense of this one.

It has been remarkable to see him develop his motor skills through the play sessions and gain confidence to be a fairly independent 2- year- old. My kid is extremely delighted at this day‑care.

February 25, 2025 at 7:09 pmWe couldn’ t have chosen a better day‑care and we will be extremely sad when it is time to say goodbye! The management is brilliant, extremely responsive and useful. They offer a lot of different sessions( French, drama, etc.), weekly show- and- tell topics to learn about and even small and even’ small homework’ to do. Both kids have grown so much and learned a lot during their time at the day‑care. They are extremely attentive and kind and the kids adore them. The best thing and arguably the most important thing about any day‑care is the team who are absolutely superb. Both kids enjoyed( and enjoy) going to the day‑care( formerly known as Scribbles). We are extremely glad to have found such a lovely day‑care for our kids and we currently have our second kid at the day‑care.

I adore getting photo and updates of what she does each day and appreciate the mix between development, teaching and making sure the kids have enjoyable. We are delighted with the teachers and assistance at the day‑care, and my little girl adores going each day. I able suggest Little Garden extremely strongly.

He is loving their weekly” show and tell” time, as well as picking a new library book every week and spending a lot of time in the garden. He runs in with a smile on his face every day now and comes back with lots of exciting things to tell us. Our little boy started almost two years ago and has grown to absolutely adore the environment, teachers, and other kids. We adore The Finchley Day Nursery!

I was initially concerned about him attending nursery at such a young age( especially given our previous time elsewhere), but they created a attentive space for him to enjoy, play, and learn. They also host sweet events such as Mother’ s Day breakfasts, where kids handcrafted paintings for their mothers- this was absolutely lovely and a little emotional. They inform us of what we need to bring, any upcoming events, any incidents, and what they have been up to. I appreciate the daily updates, and the communication is outstanding. The space is extremely calm and not overly stimulating for the kids. They were patient with him when he cried, welcoming when approaching him, and quickly learned what he liked so he would interact more. He used to cry at first, but after a few weeks, he was settled and delighted to be there. The team are superb, they assisted my little boy in settling in well.

The transition from being an independent day‑care to becoming part of Family First was complicated at first but the Manager and the team have been extremely responsive and understanding. Lovely and attentive team, wonderful development and development plan and extremely wonderful menu selection.

I able’ t mention any names but you able tell they are the right people for the job( from management team to the room key workers) as they are attentive towards your kid. Any concerns that you might have, they are ready to help and assistance you. Moreover, the team are extremely welcoming and kind. Since he started there, he is extremely delighted and excited to go. I have had time with other day‑care and my little boy was consistently coming home crying. I have to say this day‑care is the best!

July 1, 2025 at 9:08 pmThis is however no reflection on the day‑care team team who have been outstanding. I think this may have been a teething issue with the transfer from the previous day‑care owners to Finchley Day Nursery but it did happen on a number of occasions. We have had a couple of issues with accounts around the fees where we have been charged the incorrect amount or told we have not paid when we have. The team are well trained, and kind and we have consistently had the utmost confidence in leaving her in their care. She has been cared for exceptionally and we adore the day‑care team. Our little girl has been at this day‑care for 2 years.
