Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Bricket Wood

Due to Covid lockdown, she was very clingy and shy but the Room Leader has been lovely and worked hard to help her settle in. I am amazed how well my daughter has settled in during such a strange time, she has become more sociable and confident since starting childcare centre.

Our daughter is discovering a lot from all the activities and consistently comes home with a smile on her face. We would highly suggest this childcare centre. We adore that it’s a small setting, and sense that the team are all very attentive.

There were a few tears in the first few weeks, but they checked in regularly with me and did everything they could to learn about things she liked/disliked, etc. Now she absolutely loves it there and has really bonded well with all the team. I sense like in their short time together they know her really well and consistently provide excellent updates on everything she has done throughout the day. I no longer worry about not having these days with her as I know she has such a excellent time and it is so great for her development. Some days I struggle to get her in the car to go home as she’s so busy waving to her new friends and doesn’t want the enjoyable to end. Can’t thank the team enough for making the transition to childcare centre a really positive journey. I would highly suggest them. I was so nervous about sending my daughter to childcare centre as we had only ever spent about 3 hours apart from one another (lockdown baby!) before, but the team at Ashbourne were so reassuring and really took the time to settle her in well.

It is small and cosy and the team are super welcoming, expert and incredible with the kids. My daughter’s key worker is so supportive and has really helped to develop her to prepare her for school in September. She can’t wait to get there in the morning and is so excited to tell me about her day when we pick her up. My son who is now 6 years old also attended there and he loved it too. I highly suggest this childcare centre. Thanks to the Deputy Manager and the team especially for taking such excellent care of my daughter during this pandemic. My daughter attends the Bricket Wood setting and it is absolutely fabulous.

Both kids’s development has been incredible and a large proportion of this is down to the fabulous team, who the kids seem to adore. The facilities are intimate (but I think this makes it more comforting for the youngers) but are filled with remarkable equipment and discovering tools. Would suggest to anyone contemplating joining. My youngest son is currently attending, with my eldest having recently left for school, so we have attended within the family for the past 3.5 years and have nothing but praise for the childcare centre.

The key workers are incredible and I really do sense like my kid is in secure hands. She enjoys childcare centre and has bonded so well with the key workers too. We’re so cheerful that we chose Ashbourne Day Nurseries.

Great structure and discipline. Well managed. Team are experienced, work well together and have a great bond with the kids. My daughter loves going to the childcare centre, loves her friends and team, and is progressing nicely. Team go the extra mile. We are amazed at her discovering development. Very cheerful we chose this childcare centre. Strong emphasis on education.

When he first started he had a few tears the first week, but all the team were so lovely, reassured, and comforted him and he soon settled. We are potty training at the moment and the childcare centre have been following our lead with what we have been doing at home, which is excellent and the whole transition has been going well. The childcare centre has now introduced an app so parents can see about their kid’s day for instance, what they had to eat and how much they ate, which is so supportive. Have only got positives for Ashbourne and would definitely suggest it. My son attends Ashbourne Childcare centre two mornings a week and consistently looks forward to going.

While there are occasional glitches in the app recording timings, it is generally great, and lovely to see the photos of our daughter enjoying all the activities here. We are also very grateful for the childcare centre’s flexibility regarding occasional extra days at short notice (during our house move), pram storage, and giving advice on reusable nappy liners! Remarkable little childcare centre, wonderfully welcoming and supportive team, and – after the initial adjustment period – our daughter seems to very much look forward to going.

My son also has a dietary requirement, and they were very great at adapting to his needs. They go the extra mile to make sure the kid is cheerful. It’s a excellent welcoming setting, that consistently supports the parents and kids’s needs.
