Millennium First Steps Nursery

All the team were remarkable with my son, who has additional needs. I sense he came on so much during his time there which prepared him for the next step of school.
My son was sad to leave due to the bonds he had built with the team.
He really was so cheerful at Millennium which in turn meant that I did not worry.
I would suggest Millennium and plan on sending my daughter there.

He built a excellent relationship with his key worker, who was so supportive and attentive.

They really care about the kids and provide lots of enjoyable activities for them. They communicate well about what the kids are doing and are unfailingly compassionate. They are conscientious about dietary requirements. We have total self‑assurance in the team. I have given only four stars because there have been some problems with the higher management. For example, parents were not told when key team were leaving (this has since improved). Bills themselves have sometimes had errors and we have had to re-check ours to avoid paying too much, or too little. The billing team is quick to threaten exclusion if any payments are even slightly late. The team and managers at the childcare centre itself are lovely.

The team make the kids sense at home and encourage them to explore and investigate, helping to develop their personalities. The current childcare centre manager is beyond supportive and is consistently on hand to answer any queries we may have, and she ensures our kid is cheerful, content and secure. We have sent both our kids to Millennium and have witnessed them advance while attending.

In 2020, my son started at Millennium First Steps in the toddler room (sunshine) and is now in the preschool (rainbow) room. He enjoys going in and consistently loves to tell me what he gets up to. My daughter has this year recently joined the baby room (little clouds). The girls were exceptional at helping her settle in and putting my mind at ease. The new parent app is also pretty great, features such as the diary keep myself and my husband well informed of what the kids get upto daily. Over the past two years, the team at Millennium First Steps Childcare centre have been so incredible in the growth and development of both my kids.

My little boy loves going everyday. Lots of enjoyable activities, crafts and messy playtime for the kids and a great range of healthy food. Lovely manager who is very passionate and excellent team who adore the kids.

The rooms are big, with lots of space for the kids to playtime and move. The opening time is also a plus! Only two issues: the car park is consistently full (other business) and it can be tricky to find a place and a turnover of management.
My 2 daughters attended the childcare centre from 6 months to 4 years, and they have grown in self‑assurance and learned so many things. My older one left 2 years ago but is still so cheerful to pick up her sister and say hello to the team. Excellent childcare centre, the team are well qualified and consistently try to adapt to each kid.

Despite it not being his primary setting, the team welcomed him and made him sense at ease from day one. We were particularly impressed with the report we had during parent evening, the observations collected for our son were very detailed and relevant, and the next steps in his discovering journey are very carefully planned. Overall, we had a very great journey and I would definitely suggest Millennium. Our son attended Millennium once a week for about a year.

She absolutely loves it. Each morning she asks if she has childcare centre. Millennium has been so beneficial for her, helping her grow in self‑assurance and now supporting her speech and her development. Our daughter has glue ear and fluctuating hearing loss but she is treated no differently. Team have consistently been incredible and cheerful to learn and understand more about what they can do to assistance her in childcare centre. Our daughter is excited to go to childcare centre, she looks forward to seeing the team and her friends she has made at the childcare centre. Our daughter has been going since she was 9 months old and is now transitioning from the toddler room to the preschool.

The team have consistently been incredibly supportive and the boys have loved their time there. Despite the challenges of Covid the team have remained accessible and kept us involved and up to date as best they can. The location of the childcare centre is excellent for London commuters and great value compared to other Hitchin nurseries. My twin sons have attended Millennium First Steps Childcare centre since they were 10 months old and start school this September.

They have done incredibly well during a not so easy time of the pandemic and dealt with it very professionally. They have made both myself and my son sense welcomed and have done well with informing me of his development. We built a strong relationship between myself and team to allow and encourage my son to improve areas he was struggling with and I felt very supported by all the team. The team are very accommodating and know how to treat each kid as an individual. I know my son is going to miss all of the fantastic team that have taken special care of him at his time in the childcare centre. They have really helped and given excellent advice to me to make transitioning to a new school a lot less stressful for the both of us and have made me sense confident for my son to start reception in September. Millennium First Steps Childcare centre has been a fantastic childcare centre for my son to attend, with an understanding and hard-working team and a excellent setting for him to thrive.
