Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Watford

My daughter has been at Monkey Puzzle Watford since September 2020. She has absolutely loved going to nursery and looks forward to seeing the staff and kids. My daughter’s development as come on so much with her talking and I love all the updates we receive. The building is all brand new, clean and safe. The staff are great, friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond especially with the extra covid safety measures. We are so pleased we chose this nursery.

My daughter is 1 year old and started at Monkey Puzzle 5 months ago. At first, I was a bit nervous as she is my first and with everything going on.
However, the manager completely reassured me about how safe she would be and put my mind at ease.
The staff are so caring and passionate about the care they give her and it’s like a second family for her. I feel so safe and reassured and I would recommend them to anyone.

The nursery staff are lovely and fully engaged with our children. They plan activities that they know the children will enjoy. They provide a caring and supportive environment in which our children learn new skills. The boys are always thrilled to be dropped off, the only problem is they don’t want to leave!
The pandemic has made it hard to comment properly on cleanliness recently, but it certainly seemed of a good standard the last time I was allowed in!

We like the care and attention that the lovely and professional staff provide to our children. They always arrive smiling and run in and at the end of the day they come out smiling again. We highly recommend this nursery to our friends.

Our daughter has attended Monkey Puzzle since January 2020 and absolutely loves it. The staff are all very friendly and seem to have great relationships with the children. Our daughter frequently comes home singing new songs, or playing a new game that she has learnt that day and loves talking about her friends.
Nursery have always been supportive with naptimes and potty training.

My son started at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Watford back in February 2022 just before his 3rd birthday. Right from when we went to go view the nursery, my son took to it straight away (something he has never done in viewings of other nurseries). The staff have been brilliant with him. We are awaiting speech and language sessions (he’s on the waiting list with the NHS) but in the meantime have seen such a massive difference with him as he is picking up a lot of new words from the other kids and staff. They are brilliant with him. Getting to know his likes and dislikes and celebrating each milestone he makes it’s great to see. There are many external sessions run from other companies (sports, music etc) which he enjoys. The food caters for all and he has settled in so well. That’s down to the amazing environment created by the staff. They are always so friendly. I love the diversity in the nursery celebrating Eid, Chinese New Year, Diwali etc. I would highly recommend Monkey Puzzle they are truly amazing.

After a bad experience, we had a good look around and found this amazing nursery. It is so clean and new, the garden has everything a child could use to explore, a big bonus as my 3-year-old boy is very active. All the playing activities were perfectly set up and ready for the next day.

This nursery embraces different cultures and religions and my children were able to have Halal.

The children have learnt all different religions and enjoy different festivals, which I think is so important to learn and enjoy together.

We receive daily activity sheets and the children are always busy learning and exploring.

My son, since joining this nursery, has found the confidence to speak more and his vocabulary has improved so much since starting at this nursery.

What makes this nursery so different is they care about the family unit and especially for the children. They have supported my family when we have needed it and will always try to accommodate our childcare needs, even in emergencies.

Monkey Puzzle Watford is a fantastic nursery, and I would recommend it to anyone looking at putting their child into the nursery. My boy is there and has gained so much from being around other children. All the staff are absolutely fantastic. They know your child so well and at pick up, come down for a chat, and everyone knows what he’s been up to, comment on almost imperceptible mood changes etc.

My son joined Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery in November 2022 at just under the age of 18 months old. It was our first-ever experience with a nursery. I was quite nervous to begin with but literally after his first settling-in session, my nerves were put at ease. The rooms, facilities and garden are all done up nicely. I have a great relationship with the staff, they’ve all been a pleasure to deal with. Most importantly, my son loves going to nursery. He can’t wait to get in the front door and let loose!

My daughter started the nursery for the first time. I had lots of stress. But the staff are really helpful to settle down. She is now really happy and settled and enjoys all the activities there. I am very relieved now. Lucky to choose this nursery.
