Puddleducks Day Nursery (Baldock)

It’s been over a month since my daughter has been attending and I know team there take such excellent care of my baby girl, it makes me cheerful to send her off every morning and know she’ll be taken care of! The management is really committed to providing a secure, enjoyable and loving setting. I’d like to thank the entire team and specifically! I would suggest this daycare to other parents. Incredible team with so much heart and attentive mindset.

Lovely, welcoming and welcoming team, both our kids have settled in here really well and absolutely adore going to childcare centre.
It has been fantastic to see how attending this childcare centre has helped our kids to grow and develop.

I do not agree that parents should have to pay for bank holidays (including Christmas holidays) when the childcare centre is closed and the services cannot be used. If parents have to pay then childcare should be offered. I also find it unreasonable that if your kid’s day falls on a bank holiday there is no flexibility to accommodate to move to another day so your kid can benefit. I find this quite old-fashioned. Whilst my son is cheerful at the childcare centre, my review is based on the protocol of the childcare centre.

My son consistently seems cheerful to go in and cheerful during pick up. Although there have been a few disputes for billing, a bill was sent in error due to an overseen payment on their part, which was quite stressful for me, being a single parent I’m not sure they were very understanding.
However, my son has become much more confident since being at childcare centre and often tells me of the activities he has participated in, which is nice to hear. My review is mostly positive overall.

The team worked so hard to help him settle in, and he goes in every morning very cheerful. The range of activities on offer is outstanding and varied. He has fantastic nutritious meals there, thanks to the lovely cook. We delight in getting updates on his development and know the team are consistently there to offer assistance and advice. We couldn’t be happier knowing he’s at such a remarkable childcare centre – thank you, Puddleducks! Our son has been going to Puddleducks Day Childcare centre Baldock for over a year now, and couldn’t be happier there.

Our little boy is discovering so much and is very well cared for. The management team are very quick to reply to emails and team update the app on a regular basis throughout the day, reassuring me that my son is cheerful and doing well. Remarkable childcare centre, loving team.

The facilities, especially the outside space, the wide range of activities and the compassionate-hearted people who work there make this childcare centre a fantastic place to be. It has been fantastic watching our son thrive and develop and now in the final months of preschool become so confident and sociable. The pandemic has been challenging for everyone and whilst we have found the updates a little one-sided at times, we delight in reading the updates on Tapestry and have never doubted that the wellbeing of our son has consistently been a priority for the team. We highly suggest this setting as an outstanding foundation for school. Our son has attended Puddleducks since he was 11 months old (barring a break due to Covid-19) and we couldn’t be happier with the standard of care he has received in that time.

He has settled in phenomenally well and really does adore his time spent there. The care he is given is beyond impeccable and I’m very cheerful we decided to send him here. I have every ounce of trust in his caregivers and want to thank them for helping us make this transition seamless! My son started with the childcare centre in January of this year.

Puddleducks has really helped them both grow and develop. The childcare centre is excellent at encouraging their development, a really supportive and attentive place – we sense lucky to have our girls attend such a nice childcare centre. Our eldest daughter has been going for over two years, followed by her younger sister.

She started just before her first birthday, and as a lockdown baby, has benefited so much from attending. She is a confident, bubbly, funny little girl who is encouraged and supported by the fantastic team who genuinely care for her. She has formed excellent relationships with the team and other kids, and thoroughly enjoys going to the childcare centre every day. We would adore not to have to work full-time but knowing our daughter is in the best setting and stimulus to help her learn and develop into the individual she is, makes us cheerful as parents. We are proud and amazed by her achievements and that is solely not down to us as parents, but to those who are helping shape her early years. Our daughter has been attending Puddleducks Day Childcare centre in Baldock for almost a year now.
