July 13, 2021 at 12:00 amOur little one has been attending Daybreak Nursery for the last eight months and loves it. We literally have to drag her away every evening. The educators are really engaged with the children, the security measures are reassuringly strict and the outdoor space is phenomenal. We’ve moved house recently and will still do the hour round trip (walking) to keep her at such a brilliant nursery.

July 13, 2021 at 12:00 amOur first child came to Daybreak Nursery for four years. We have now chosen Daybreak for our second child as we were so happy with the care given. The staff seem to genuinely enjoy spending time with the children and really get to know their individual personalities. There’s an emphasis on fun and on child-led learning, which suits our family philosophy. Our children have both loved free play in the outside play area, which is a very valuable asset to this nursery. The food offered is diverse and has been popular even with my fussy eater! They have been brilliant at observing my child’s allergies.

July 16, 2021 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been attending Daybreak Nursery for about six months and we couldn’t be more impressed. The staff are incredibly warm, friendly and attentive, encouraging personal development amongst the children with written plans that are monitored and updated regularly.
The staff use the app to provide regular updates on what the kids are up to, and we’re always provided with a full rundown of their day on pickup (including their activities, meals, sleep, and – in our case – potty training). We’re always impressed at how detailed the handoff is each day considering how many children they are to look after!
The proof is in the pudding, as they say, and despite recently moving from another country our daughter settled in very quickly and absolutely loves her days at nursery. She particularly loves the large outdoor space with its pirate ship climbing frame, mud kitchen, sandpit, reading teepee (I could go on).
I couldn’t recommend Daybreak Shepherds Lane more highly. Thank you!

July 16, 2021 at 12:00 amAlthough this review is for the last twelve months, we have used Daybreak Nursery for the last six years, using the provision provided for both our children.
It’s local and extremely convenient. The staff, especially our daughter’s key worker, are excellent. She has provided our daughter with love, compassion and respect. We have been impressed with the relationship that has been built up with our daughter, knowing how she ticks and how to develop her further. We are very lucky to have had some wonderful staff members during this time who have shown the same level of care. Daybreak is a great place and it is the staff that makes it what it is and sets it apart from all the others.

July 27, 2021 at 12:00 amDaybreak Nursery Rickmansworth Shepherds Lane is a very lovely nursery. The carers have been excellent with my son who has had a few extra physical needs and they have actively participated in his development – they genuinely care about his progress. He eats and sleeps well at nursery and is happy to be handed over in the morning. The nursery has a wonderful garden! I highly recommend.

July 20, 2022 at 12:00 amA very welcoming nursery with friendly staff and children. My granddaughter is always telling me how much she enjoys preschool and the games she plays. She will miss her preschool when she leaves to go to big school. I have spoken to other parents when I have collected her recently and they have all said they will miss this nursery very much.

August 26, 2022 at 12:00 amOur children have attended Daybreak since 2019 – the staff have been great, attentive, caring and focused on developing the children while they have fun. The facilities are great – especially the outside garden, allowing a huge variety of games and activities. During Covid, the team have been very supportive, balancing the risks with allowing the facility to stay open for the children! Highly recommend.

The staff know both our four-year-old and one-year-old so well, and gives me so much comfort when leaving them. The confidence that is developing is fantastic, and my four-year-old, in particular, has made some great friends. Thank you to all the staff at Daybreak.

The nursery has been an integral part of our children’s development, and we are grateful for the support they have given us as a family.

April 18, 2023 at 12:00 amOur child has been going to Daybreak Nursery for nearly two years and we have always been happy with how they care for him. They were very patient and caring when he first started and helped him settle really well. He has since thrived while being there and loves going to nursery and speaks so fondly of all the staff. Every member of staff is friendly and we get regular updates on what he has been up to and how he engages with his friends. They spend a lot of time outdoors with great outdoor play facilities which our child loves. Would highly recommend Daybreak!

April 22, 2023 at 12:00 amSince starting at Daybreak Nursery our son has enjoyed every single day. He has formed some wonderful friendships, and you can tell every single teacher really does care about the children, and gets to know each of them on a one to one level.
Their learning is tailored around their interests which really helps them to engage, with the children coming home telling you all about their day, which is lovely.

Daybreak Nursery has been taking care of my son for the past eighteen months and under their care my son has been able to develop in all areas. Children in the nursery are constantly challenged and driven towards learning while having fun at the same time.
The way they care and prepare children for the future. Provides an excellent foundation towards transitioning to school. Me and my wife are grateful for their practice.

Our son has made amazing progress since joining over a year ago. The staff put in a lot of effort to create activities according to the children’s interests and my son comes home beaming everyday! We would highly recommend Daybreak.

He is always so happy when we collect him and chats away about what he has been up to, which is great to hear all of the learning happening from there. The staff are always so supportive of his needs too.
Would highly recommend it.

When I was looking around for a nursery to send my daughter to I went from how I felt the staff and children were in the setting and I felt here you could tell the staff really care and the environment felt lovely, children seemed happy and content! Following potty training for my daughter was consistent and the communication is always great! Would highly recommend Daybreak Shepherds Lane!
