November 27, 2020 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been in this nursery since she was 6-months-old and has been in each room. The team, from the very beginning, have been wonderful. Her key careers have supported and encouraged her to progress in her learning. They have also managed the pandemic extremely well and communicated with us throughout.

The staff here are fantastic, very professional and caring. My daughter has additional needs, and they are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure she is supported and developing as best she can.
I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

January 15, 2021 at 12:00 amOverall, Daybreak has been great for my daughter. She has made lots of friends and interacts really well with the carers and key workers there.
Daybreak has had a significant amount of changes to its management structure over the past year and the turnover is high – managers come as quickly as they go. With such a high turnover, it would be helpful for parents if photos were added to staff profiles as it is good to put a face to a name.
It’s been difficult to really gauge how well my daughter is doing and how much she is liking the nursery given all the managerial/staff changes, and the combined baby and toddler room as we do not get a glimpse of them on the inside anymore due to COVID – which is understandable however the “EY Log” app often provides activity updates and pictures which are lovely.

January 19, 2021 at 12:00 amWe’ve very happily used Daybreak in Rickmansworth Town Centre for nearly five years now. Our eldest daughter had a great time there, and now so does our youngest daughter. Although the property is not blessed with a large garden this becomes irrelevant as it is all about the quality of the staff. The ladies are truly all excellent. Great to see many faces who have been there for years, people you get to know really well! The change of ownership brought great improvements to the building, with loads of new furniture and toys etc, but the staff still remained really friendly, hardworking and professional.
I would note that we have previously tried two other nurseries and although they may have had the spacious play areas the comparison of staff care towards the children was incomparable. Daybreak show you what matters most with a nursery: staff who genuinely care about the children, who bond with them and make great efforts to show them warmth. Thank you!

July 1, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son has come along leaps and bounds since joining the nursery and it will be a shame to see him leave at the end of August as he absolutely loves attending nursery and seeing all of the new friends he has made. The staff are great and have always been very good when dealing with situations and have always kept me up to date on matters. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking to join one as it’s a safe, clean, friendly and happy environment for any child. The facilities are good and my son particularly likes the generous outdoor space they have available.

Daybreak gave us multiple settling-in sessions to ensure that my baby was ready to start full days at nursery. Thank you to all the staff for settling her in so well – it’s so lovely to see her happy about going in!

October 5, 2022 at 12:00 amVery welcoming. Take great care of my son and helped him a lot with his needs (e.g. speech/language). My son didn’t have a lot of words but now he can sing nursery rhymes and count to ten and count down from ten. Staff have created good bonds with my son and take on board any feedback that I give them. The staff keep me updated via email about my son’s progress. There is great communication from the staff and management.

From the moment we were shown around by the nursery manager, we felt really confident in our choice.

I feel happy with him being there and being looked after by the staff. He often talks to me at home about the staff. I’m always kept up to date about his learning and how he is. I would recommend this nursery to others.

October 18, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter settled into Daybreak Nurserys right from the beginning. she has been with the nursery since she was six months old and I can honestly say I am so grateful for everything that have done.
She comes home every day saying what a fun day she has had; explaining in detail all the activities they have done together.
She has built some great relationships with her peers as well as the staff. We;;; done Daybreak. Very happy mummy!

She loves to play with the other children. The key workers are very friendly and helpful and can’t fault anything. The manager is absolutely great, friendly and very helpful and understanding. She is very accommodating to all your requests and very approachable. Overall I would highly recommend Daybreak Nursery for your children.

It’s his happy place, and I can see his learning has picked up very quickly. The nursery does a lot of varied activities, which my son enjoys. I’m glad I found this nursery and would like to thank the team for the good job that they do with the kids.

August 10, 2023 at 12:00 amAll the staff are brilliant, they are friendly and always well informed with my child’s care. The staff are caring and always doing fun activities. The nursery also invites parents in for various other activities like parent’s evenings and father’s day activities which is really good because you as a parent feel fully engaged in the nursery and feel a part of this wonderful nursery family.

August 10, 2023 at 12:00 amI came to view the nursery in 2022 after my son had spent two years at Daybreak Nursery (2019 to 2021). I was happy to find the staff were still caring, attentive and reassuring so I felt comfortable sending my daughter too. She has loved her nursery experience and all staff are particularly good at handling her emotions. I never feel worried when she is at nursery, I know she is well looked after.
